It was the morning after the wedding was successfully held.

Eyrie was standing in front of the royal castle’s gates. Before she was the Gried Family, Sylia included.

“I’m sad to see you go,” Tiana said.

“It’s not a farewell, I’ll come back again when I feel like it,” Eyrie said as she carries a leather bag filled with various traveling equipment. “Sorry to have bothered you for food and all these. I’m grateful for everything.”

“Don’t worry about it,” Luna said. “My wife and I are grateful, after all.”

After that night, Eyrie did not change her mind about leaving the next day. She didn’t even leave a letter, probably because did intend to speak to them personally.

“But isn’t it all too early?” Sylia asked. “I wish we could have spent more time…”

She was surprised to have been suddenly informed at breakfast, Sylia had thought Eyrie would be staying for a while.

When Eyrie gave Sylia a little smile, then she immediately turned to Luna with a mischievous and teasing expression. “That would be fine. But, I don’t feel like overhearing your adorable voices every night, you see?”

“Huh?” Luna asked.

This time, Eyrie whispers to Luna, “You might want to keep your voice down a bit.”

Luna couldn’t immediately understand what was said, but when she saw Eyrie’s grinning face and Sylia turn bright red as she stood beside her, it all suddenly became clear.

“Huh, whaaa…?!” Luna screamed.

“Ma-Master!!” Sylia cried.

“Ahahaha, that was a joke,” Eyrie said. “By the way… it looked like you were flirting pretty hard this morning.”

“Ah, uuu…” Luna whimpered.

“P-Please stop right now!” Sylia yelled. “Do you really want me to get angry?!”

Eyrie says “Sorry, sorry!” in a way that doesn’t sound apologetic at all. Luna looked down, her face so bright red she was almost about to collapse from shame. If she looked at the faces of her family listening in, she really would have been overwhelmed.

“Ah, ahem… well, you’re always welcome in this country, so please come back any time,” Dien said as he read the air and changed the subject.

Eyrie stopped teasing and bowed her head. “Thank you for all your help. Well, it’s time for me to go.”

It was a shame to see her go, but it was her decision. They said their goodbyes there, respecting Eyrie’s wishes.

Eyrie said her farewells to everyone before finally standing before and looking directly at Sylia.

“Well then, I’ll see you later,” Eyrie said.

“We will meet again, right?” Sylia asked.

" "

“… Yes, I’ll make sure of it,” Eyrie said.

Some time ago, Eyrie suddenly disappeared. At that time, she was stunned because it was so sudden but this time it was a proper farewell. That’s why Sylia felt so bad about it.

“Don’t push yourself too hard?” Sylia said. “You’re certainly strong, Master, but you’re still a human being.”

“It’ll be fine, I’ll think then act,” Eyrie said.

It seemed she had already been crushing criminal organizations and other suspect groups by herself, so there was no persuading her, all they could do was trust in her words.

At the end, Eyrie whispered to Sylia, “Don’t go crazy yourself, too.”

“Huh?” Sylia asked.

“Luna will become exhausted if you take her in your arms every night,” Eyrie said. “You have to control yourself lest you become a ravenous beast.”

“… Master…!!” Sylia cried.

Eyrie set off that time, those were her parting words.

Sylia didn’t move from her spot until Eyrie’s back had disappeared from view.

“She’s gone…” Sylia said.

“She’s definitely gone,” Luna said.

Sylia feels a little empty but it’s alleviated somewhat thanks to her beloved right beside her.

“I wonder if she’ll come back again,” Sylia said.

“I’m sure she’ll come back, eventually,” Luna said.

Until the day they met again, Sylia vowed to live her life so at least she wouldn’t embarrass herself.

“Well, let’s head back inside,” Tiana said as they began to shuffle back to the castle. “If we stay outside here all day, we’ll catch cold.”

Sylia and Luna were about to do the same.

“Ah, but the two of you should come to my room for a moment,” Tiana said.

Sylia and Luna froze. They figured they had known what was going on thanks to the redness in their faces, but their hearts were turning blue as they trotted along behind Luna’s mother.

After that, Sylia deeply regretted her actions as Tiana half-preached to her, saying, “I understand how you feel, and I don’t think it’s good to interfere too deeply in these matters, but please, keep things in moderation.”

“I’m sorry to have upset you…” Luna said.

“Yes, I’m sorry,” Sylia said. “I should have controlled myself…”

After that, Sylia and Luna returned to their room and inevitably reflected on recent events. Today was the day after the wedding, so there were no plans, and after all, it’s more time spent together than the usual looking over of goings-on.

“You weren’t the only one at fault, Sylia!” Luna said. “Yesterday, I was also… well.”

It was counterproductive to beat around the bush like this. Both Sylia and Luna remember what happened last night and shut up. They were both embarrassed now, likely because it remained clear in their memories.

(But I think it’s impossible to keep things in moderation,) Sylia thought as she looked at the red-faced Luna.

She couldn’t cope with her weakness towards Luna. The problem was just that Sylia liked Luna too much, but they probably wouldn’t realize it.

“Anyway, let’s be more careful around each other… Sylia?” Luna asked.

She finally noticed how close Sylia’s face was. They were initially sitting on the sofa side-by-side, so they were already close, but now they’re even closer.

“Ah, umm,” Luna muttered.

Fortunately or unfortunately, Luna realized what Sylia wanted to do. What’s more, this was just after they just told, “Keep things in moderation.”

“Luna,” Sylia said.

“… Mnn…”

Luna closed her eyes when her name was called, she felt a soft touch on her lips. From there, a gentle, warm heat begins to spread through her body.

“Puh, hah…”

With only a shallow kiss, Luna goes weak and leans against Sylia, panting. And when she looked up at Sylia and tried to protest, she realizes it’s completely useless.

“Kyaah…?!”

Luna was pushed down onto the sofa. Sylia was looking straight down at her.

“Ho-Hold up a moment… no matter how much you want to, remember this morning…!” Luna said.

“Ooh, sorry,” Sylia said. “But you’re just so cute, Luna…”

“Y-You’ve gotta be kidding meee,” Luna whined.

Could Sylia really learn to control herself?

“Pardon me, I forgot to tell you something earlier…”

“… M-Mother?”

“………”

Or if she’d have to learn because of third parties, only Sylia knows…

Their lively and enjoyable days passed by in no time.

“Well then, that’s all for today!”

““Thank you very much!””

The students’ voices echo in the large training ground, set up in the Royal Academy. The teacher was Sylia, who’s become quite a mature woman at age 17.

She had stayed married to Luna since, but nothing changed dramatically. And speaking of change, she wondered if the distance between her and Luna had become much closer both mentally and physically.

The only thing that had was Sylia had been invited to the Royal Academy as a swordsmanship instructor.

Sylia was already planning not to live in the royal castle for free and wanted to earn a living somehow. At first, she took tutoring from Yubel at the study but that didn’t mean the plan would work out.

Because of the circumstances, and thanks to the connections and timings that overlapped in places that Sylia didn’t even know, she decided to teach the Academy’s students about self-defense using a sword.

Because Sylia’s technique was largely for offense, she learned swordsmanship manuals with the help of Feuille and Kranz. To teach them more extensively, she needed a different style of fighting, but she managed to acquire it after putting in some hard work.

And because Sylia decided to work at the Academy, that means that Luna was also there.

“Sylia, sorry to keep you waiting,” Luna said.

At the age of 15, though she was still a child, she was growing up to be a healthy young woman.

“No, I wasn’t waiting at all,” Sylia said.

“Then, let’s go home,” Luna said.

Luna was also graduating this year, Sylia had no choice but to acknowledge the passage of time.

“How was your class today?” Luna asked.

“It was as usual,” Sylia said. “What about you, Luna?”

“I think it was the same for me?” Luna asked.

Despite it all, the relationship between the two was still strong, and though they had occasional quarrels, they spent their time in harmony.

“By the way, a letter came in today,” Luna said.

“Is that so?” Sylia said. “It took her several years to come back, after all.”

“She may be surprised to see how much you’ve grown up,” Luna said.

“Hmm, I can’t imagine…” Sylia said.

Today was a little special day for them.

The carriage made a noise as it stopped before the royal castle.

“We’ve arrived!” the driver said.

Sylia heard and got off first. “Here, watch your step,” she said as she held out her hand.

Luna grabbed it and got off. “Well then, let’s go.”

“Yeah, let’s go,” Sylia said.

As they were, they continued holding hands and walked slowly, smiling at each other.

“By the way,” Luna said.

“Yes?” Sylia asked.

“Well, thank you for your continued support,” Luna said.

“… You’re welcome,” Sylia said.

When she won, her prize was the princess. That’s how it started, but the two spent many years together, smiling happily…

T/N: And that’s the end.

Honestly, I ended up regretting picking this up. I don’t enjoy the series and what it offers and so many of its spotlights on how young the characters are and what they get up to make me so uncomfortable. I’m not against kids exploring their sexuality and getting physically intimate, but my god, how invasive and uncomfortable Tiana and Eyrie were about all this and their intentions with that dress…

I hope you readers still enjoyed it.

P.S. If the Volumes are scuffed, I don’t know how to fix it. It was always a finicky feature.
