Daiyu's eyes sparkled with excitement. Yi Jie had told her about a boy she had loved but had to leave behind when she moved to America. She told her that when she returns, she would work hard to win her love back.

Yi Jie giggled. They then talked for a while before Liu Jin approached them.

"Hey there, Daiyu's husband."

Liu Jin nodded, accepting the title shamelessly.

Daiyu buried her face onto her palm in embarrassment while Yi Jie laughed. She then exchanged numbers with Liu Jin before turning to leave as Wang Jing had called for her.

Liu Jin then turned to face Daiyu.

"Happy birthday." He greeted with a soft smile.

Daiyu smiled back before tiptoeing to kiss him.

"Thank you." She said as she wrapped her arms around his waist.

"You look beautiful tonight"

"Just tonight?" She pouted cutely.

He laughed before leaning down to kiss her.
