The Captain Who Becomes The Decoy

Gretta's POV

The attack from the S-class dragon also caused damage to the school where Greta and others are located.

"Gah!"

Before Gretta knew it, a part of the iceberg that was fired hit his head, and he collapsed because of that.

The first-year class A room suddenly shook violently, and after a while, a block of ice broke through the wall.

I remember that part, but I can't remember what happened after that.

"What's this..."

A block of ice suddenly flew out of nowhere.

And now the ice is inside the room, emitting cold air and covering the whole classroom floor with a white mist.

As I managed to stand up and look at the ice block, my other classmates also began to stand up.

"It's such a big iceberg... how can this thing fly out here?"

I heard such an order coming from the commander.

After a while, Rohee and the other knights came down the ramparts and began to join me.

I avoided the incoming fireballs as I cut my way through the hordes of the dragon.

I mustn't let that S-class dragon fire a second breath!

The icebergs are dangerous, but that breath is a lot more dangerous than that, as it is powerful enough to destroy that sturdy gate with a single attack.

Now that the commander has begun closing the gate on the first wall, we can take another breath coming from the S-class dragon, but after that, there will be no next time.

And if something that powerful reaches the city, it will cause a very huge amount of damage.

"I'll engage the S-class dragon! Everyone, please support me!"

I shouted loudly so that they could hear me, and after a while, I heard Rohee and the others say "Understood!".

Katia pierced the dragon on the left using her Buster Lancer, then she activated its detonator, causing an explosion and killing the dragon.

While the dragon on the right was intercepted by Flambert by shooting several ice arrows at the dragon's head, instantly killing it.

As expected of them, they are really reliable subordinates.

The A-class knights are also deployed on our flanks so that we don't get surrounded by the dragons.

It's a really great help that they are deployed that way.

Looking at the first wall, the undamaged ballistae and cannons resumed their covering fire, and they are beginning to slowly seal the age.

"Whoa!"

I immediately slashed at the fireballs that were aimed at me, but the A-class dragons continued to fire their fireballs towards me.

It looks like the roar that the S-class dragon made earlier was an instruction to the A-class dragons to attack me.

It seems that the S-class dragon has finally realized that I'm its most dangerous enemy here.

I will attract all the A-class dragons here, and I will send Rohee and the others to attack the S-class dragon!

"Rohee, Katia, Flambert! I'll take on the A-class dragons around here! You three should attack the S-class dragon while they are focusing their attacks on me!"
