S-class Dragon VS Zekudo

Third-person POV

"Oh! Is that Zekudo?!"

The commander, who was watching the S-class dragon battle from the first wall, suddenly raised his voice when he saw that the captain of the Dragon Killer Squad had finally confronted the S-class dragon.

The sight made not only the commander but also the surrounding knights swallow their saliva.

"Commander, what's the situation in the ongoing battle?"

Everyone in the room was surprised when they suddenly heard the king's voice.

"My king! You shouldn't be here; it's dangerous here!"

When the commander stated that the king simply shrugged,

"The attack of the S-class dragon has even reached the castle. I don't think there's a safe place around here anymore. If you know a place where I can be safe, then can you tell me where that place is?"

"Understood! Flambert Fulham was in danger a little while ago, but now I'm sure that she'll be fine."

"Hmmm?"

"Here, use this, and please take a look."

The commander then handed the telescope to the king.

When the king looked into it, he saw about 200 corpses of A-class dragons lying on the dragon. 

Apparently all the A-class dragons have been annihilated, and the remaining surviving knights of the kingdom are now staring at one place.

When the king looked at the place where the knights were looking, he saw a boy in black armor facing the S-class dragon on the front lines.

"Is that Zekudo Force?"

"Yes, he's really strong, as he just cut off the arm of the S-class dragon all by himself."

The commander said this while being awestruck by what Zekudo had accomplished.

The king then agreed with what the commander had said about Zekudo.

At a very young age, he really is something.

I'm counting on you, Zekudo.

The king prayed for the success of Zekudo with all his heart.

The king, the commander, all the royal knights, and all the people around are now silently watching the battlefield as the battle between Zekudo and the S-class dragon is about to begin.

Flambert's POV

The back that faces the S-class dragon definitely belongs to Zekudo.

I'm sure of that, as it's his reliable back that I have seen many times already.

There's no way Flambert would have mistaken that.

Finally, everything would be fine.

For some reason, staring at Zekudo's back, Flambert suddenly felt a warm sense of security, and she became hopeful again.

Until recently, it was really a hopeless situation, but when Zekudo arrived, the situation was suddenly reversed.

Zekudo, while holding his long sword that seems to glitter, is now ready to attack and evade at anytime. His gaze never left the S-class dragon.

When Rohee and Katia called Zekudo "Captain" with joy in their voices, Flambert unintentionally shouted "Zekudo-kun!".

"Sensei, it's fine now, step back! Leave everything to me!"

"Yes! Thank you very much!"

I don't want to get in his way.

Flambert then hurriedly stood up, and she retreated from the battlefield.

When Flambert was retreating, she saw the claw of the S-class dragon that was supposed to pierce her stuck in the ground nearby.

Zekudo's cut was so perfect and clean that his blade cut through three layers of flesh: ice, dragon scales, and dragon bones.

Zekudo is really amazing to be able to do that so easily, when it was so difficult for me, Rohee, and Katia to even damage that S-class dragon.

When Flambert had already retreated quite a distance, she turned around to look at Zekudo.

She then saw that the S-class dragon, who had lost one of its hands, was still trying to face off against Zekudo.

It seems that the S-class dragon, even though it has one hand missing, still intends to fight Zekudo, whom it judges to be its most dangerous opponent.

The S-class dragon has finally made its move after a few seconds of staring at each other.

The S-class dragon swings its remaining arm to attack Zekudo with its claw. 

The attack was so fast that it was really difficult to avoid it, but Zekudo easily dodged it.

That's when I remembered what happened earlier. When Rohee and Katia tried to attack it, the S-class dragon did a two-combo attack, starting by swinging its claw, then following up with a tail attack.

"Zekudo-kun! That's a double attack..."

But it was already too late, and Flambert was too far from Zekudo for him to hear Flambert's warning.

When the attack of the S-class dragon pierces the ground, it uses its momentum and spins its giant body to unleash a tail cleave at Zekudo.

The attack that came from its tail this time was much faster compared to when the S-class dragon used it against Rohee and Katia, it was so fast that Flambert couldn't even see the entire momentum of its attack.

That's why Flambert thought that it was impossible for Zekudo, who does not know the two-combo attack, to dodge it and prepare a countermeasure against it.

At this rate, Zekudo-kun would be killed!

I thought so for a moment, but after a few seconds, the tail of the S-class dragon that was about to attack Zekudo was suddenly cut into two. It looks like Zekudo has seen through the two-combo attack!

He didn't dodge the attack, but instead he countered it by slashing the tail!

The severed tail then flew through the heavens, and the S-class dragon roared in pain as it fell to the ground.

"Ohhhhhhh!" A loud cheer from the surrounding area could be heard.
