Episode 31 – Aquarium date?

“Look, Masa! It’s a penguin!”
A waddling penguin is walking with his keeper.
“Cute~”
“Mirei san, you’re cute too.”
“Fueeh!?”
Oh, I’ve said what I’m thinking.
I was embarrassed, but I’ll just call it payback as usual.

It was Saturday, so there were quite a lot of people.
“Don’t let go, okay?”
I walked hand in hand with the cool Mirei san
“Hey, there’s a beautiful woman over there.”
“Wow, really. That guy next to her is so nice.”
“I want her too.”

“Haha, it kinda bothers me to think that people can see me around.”
“Mirei san”
“Yes?”
“I like you.”
I didn’t have the courage to say it out loud, so I said it into her ear.
“Today you are somewhat aggressive…/// I like you too.”
The fish just passed by us.
“Oh, that one fish is a different color.”
“It’s true. It’s beautiful.”
“Do you want to buy that fish?”
“What?!”
“It’s a lie.”
Mirei san laughs a little.
She sometimes teases me, so I can’t be too careful.

“Hmmm, what shall we do?”
It’s past eleven o’clock. The dolphin show starts at 12:00, and I’m wondering if we should eat first.
“I think it will be crowded after the show, so it would be better to eat first, right?”

“I’ll have the dolphin curry.”
“I’ll have the same.”

“I’m looking forward to it.”
Then the curry is served.
The rice is shaped like a dolphin or the image of the sea.

“I do feel sorry for them.”
But I was quite hungry, so I ate it quickly.
“Ah, it’s on your mouth. I’ll take it off.”
“I’m sorry, you always have to do that for me.”
I could feel people around me were talking about it.
“Don’t worry about it. I’m doing it because I want to.”
They don’t know I’m nervous, do they?

After we finished eating, we went to see the dolphin show. I didn’t pay attention to it earlier, but I had mixed feelings when I thought we were going to watch something we had just eaten.

“Hello everyone!~!”
said the keeper who appeared on the dolphin.
It was a good thing I was wearing a kappa, but it was pouring, and the dolphins were raising their hands in the air.

“Now then, the man in black, can I ask you to come forward for a moment?”
“It’s Masa.”
“Me?!
It’s amazing how these things hit you, isn’t it?
“Now I’m going to ask you to throw this hoop!”
I’m a little nervous.
The dolphins are pretty cute when you see them up close.
I did my best to throw the ring so that it would go into Cue-chan, the dolphin.

“Thank you very much! Cue-chan already misses you!”
I patted Cue-chan’s head and she let out a squeal, and now I’m definitely more in love with dolphins than any other living creature.
