Episode 35 – I heard there is a welcome party?

“No, you can’t. Don’t you think it’s pathetic to say that?”
I said, standing next to Akasaki-senpai.
“You’re a trainee, aren’t you? Don’t get carried away just because you can do something.”
The three seniors made fun of me.
If it had been me before, I would have backed down already.
“You seniors are not good at some of the things you do, are you?
Then shouldn’t you help each other out?”
Then one of the seniors said
“Shut up, you little brat. I’ve come all the way here for training to get into this company, and it would be bad if I’m dropped at the interview, wouldn’t it?”
“I’m in human resources, so I can drop you at any time.”
I knew I was set up to be a college student. Well, this company is full of nice people, so I think the only people like this are the people here, but I don’t think Akasaki-senpai is following them either.

“No problem.”
“Damn it. Then I’ll drop you.”
And the three of them went back.
“Are you all right, senpai?”
“You’re strong, aren’t you? They are my colleagues, so I can’t say anything strongly because if things go bad with them, I won’t be able to stay in the company.”
“Are there any other people like this?”

“I don’t have a girlfriend.”
“Is that so? Then I might take Sato kun for myself. We are close in age.”
I know she was joking because she seemed to be drunk, but if Mirei san heard…

I think I can do that right now, so I’m going to do it.

“Sato kun, I think Akasaki’s been crushed.”
“I understand! I’ll get some water from the clerk!”
I’m sure it’s still okay. Mirei might still be working.
I was taking care of my senpai, and then it was time to go.
“Is senpai alright?”
“Ugh~.”
I’m probably the only high school student to take home a senpai who got crushed at a drinking party, right?
I was not going to go home alone, so I decided to call a cab to take him home.

I put him on the bed.

“Where are you? “Are you okay?”” I wish you’d answer me.”
I hurried home.
I was so glad that my poor sense of direction had been put to rest by this time.

“I’m home…”
I open and close the door slowly.
“Welcome home.”
“Mirei-san…”
Mirei was already waiting behind me.
“Shall we go to our room for the time being?
“Yes…”
The hand held by Mirei san was a little stronger than usual.
