Until the magic machine arrived, we had a chat. Zack-san’s casual question has Snow-san looking a bit flustered.

Using her family name is a way of revealing her identity to others. This is a negative factor when she is a member of the Resistance or as an adventurer wanting to hide her true identity.

Maybe the message is not to make a big deal of Snow-san’s existence, but to show that there is a connection with the Resistance.
