I'm The Boss's Secretary?!

Chapter 112 - Meeting The Witch-II

Seoyeon glanced at Jung Hwa who was still talking with Lee Young. Jung Hwa was laughing, she thought to herself. It wasn't rare to see him laughing for her at the least but it was rare to see that he could be open to another person. In his work, he would have people at arm's length, not letting them to get closer than necessary. Although she was an exception.

Her eyes shifted to the large window to see the graveyards again. Seeing it, she wondered whose graves it was.

"The graves belong to the associates." came the voice that replied to the question in her mind. She turned to find Jung Hwa had walked beside her and talked to her without knowing how her expression was like an open book to him.

"Whose graves are those?" she asked, curiosity piqued her interest.

Jung Hwa looked up at the cemetery from the window and as they walk, they passed by the cemetery and their eyes shifted from the window. "Those are the graves for vampires who work in the Associates who had died but have no family. As there are no one who would bury their bodies, the associates prepared a cemetery for them."

"That's considerate." she replied. Vampires were cold-hearted, it was the image she had in her mind. But seeing the cemetery reminded her again that not all vampires are cold. They may seem to be cold but there was the kindness they have for their own kind.

Jung Hwa only watched her, his eyes stopped at her wrist which was covered by his coat and his lips were set straight as he stared at her face and neck. As Jung Hwa had always stared at her face, Seoyeon wasn't troubled by it anymore. Although she do feel conscious, she didn't felt uncomfortable like before.

They stopped once they have arrived at a single large door. Like all the doors in the building it was large. Lee Young knocked on the door thrice and announced, We're here." Lee Young spoke.

It was after three minutes later did Seoyeon noticed the round knob was turn and a man appeared from behind the door. His eyes were black in color and middle-length hair in the color of dusky brown. Seeing the face of the man, Seoyeon's eyes widened and her brows furrowed in reflex, "Why is he here?" she asked.

The man who heard her words also looked at her surprise and pulled the door behind to see their face. Lee Young and Jung Hwa could tell that they know each other. With a slight narrow to his eyes, Jung Hwa looked at her and asked, "Do you know him?" and his girl gave a nod of her head.

"I met him when I asked about Seulgi," she whispered making the words only to Jung Hwa's ears so the man beside him wouldn't hear but the other pureblood vampires could hear her words clearly which she didn't know. "He was the bar owner there. His name is Min Beomgyu."

At the same time, Lee Young asked the man, "You know her?"

Min Beomgyu turned his head and gave a faint nod, "I met her in the bar I owned, the one that I was told to wait for the investigation." He added, "She was a visitor there, asking some question, isn't that right, Miss?" his eyes moved at Seoyeon waiting for her agreement.

"Yes." replied Seoyeon. Was Min Beomgyu a vampire? What a small world, she thought to herself in surprise. Min Beomgyu pulled the door to open wider and outstretched his hand, "Please come in, the place is a little dirty but make yourself home."

As Lee Young and Jung Hwa entered, Seoyeon followed after them. She felt Min Beomgyu's eyes on her that felt as if he was watching her but when her head turned, the man had walked before her that her wondered if she was hallucinating. Her eyes traveled around the place. It was filled with books, shelves with thick to thin books, papers lying everywhere which was stacked among the books on the floor and when she got closer to read the book, she found it was an odd book about midnight moon. There were other serval books with title that had her wanting to read the book yet strange at the same time.

When she observed the left side of the room, she saw the table filled with colored liquids, small burners, pot, and books placed there with leaves and powders. There were lights from behind the man but still felt dark with the books stuffed in the room.

"Welcome, please take a seat there, anyone want a drink?" He asked and Lee Young waves his hand to say no while Jung Hwa smiled and replied with a yes.

Min Beomgyu walked and went to his desk and asked Jung Hwa, "What do you want to drink?"

"Is there blood?" offering a drink for vampires would be blood and Min Beomgyu almost forget about this.

"My apologies but we don't have that here." replied Min Beomgyu and Jung Hwa replied by raising and eyebrow.

Seoyeon noticed what Jung Hwa was about to do and shook her head, as she expected, the pureblood replied casually, "We have it now, don't we?" Min Beomgyu was still confused until Jung Hwa pointed his finger at him. "You."

"Stop playing with him." Lee Young dismissed the matter with a grin to his lips as he was also entertained by the mischief. Looking at how the two had the same wavelength of humor, Seoyeon could feel how they almost seemed like a sibling. A disastrous sibling that no one would want to have in their house. "We came here because Hwa is curious about the humans that was sent. Of whether they would talk about vampires once they left this building." Hearing it, Seoyeon was also curious to know.

"The humans?" Min Beomgyu repeated with a frown trying to remember when he recalled what they were talking about. "That's perfect, actually I still have a request today from the cave's matter." trailed Min Beomgyu when the door was knocked and in time, when the door opened, a vampire and a human man come inside. The vampire had a slightly red colored eyes while the other one was trembling in fear, making Seoyeon to know that the man was like her, a human.

"Please come in." said Min Beomgyu with a kind smile on his lips.. Like before he greeted them, there was no change on his voice as he offered a seat as if he was used to offering seat but then Seoyeon remembered he was a bar owner.
