I'm The Boss's Secretary?!

Chapter 146 - In A Snap-II

The man continued to offer the lives of the children and Seoyeon looked down to the man with her expression in anger. The man had been a caretaker for years seeing that now he had become a headmaster. It made her question who had chosen him as the headmaster. Was it the people of the orphanage?

She recalled how that not only the man in front of him had been a part of her childhood pain but also the rest of caretakers to the orphanage. All of them had turned a blind eyes at her or even supported the man with his deeds. It was clear that the money gave by the sponsors of the orphanage was also stolen by the man. If he didn't, it would be life surprising to her.

It was still clear in the back of Seoyeon's mind, the words and the actions they did. It was noon when Seoyeon had just told the wash the dishes. The water was cold as in winter the caretakers often use warm water but when it was Seoyeon who was told to wash, they didn't bother themself to do so.

Seoyeon went out of the kitchen, her small feet padded and her body shivering from cold when she met the man who was now the headmaster. He came with a smile even offering her a place of warm when his hand touched her shoulders and waist.

It made her feel disgusted. Seoyeon didn't know what the man did but she knew she should run and when she did, the next day she was locked in the storage room for two days.

Seoyeon didn't want to remember it. Her future once she went out of the orphanage was a beautiful one with her adoptive parents who thought of her nothing less than their own daughter. Yet some times in her dream the past would surface in her mind making her nightmares.

The headmaster was still yet to realize that there was someone other than Jung Hwa here. The shadows in the room was thick and Jung Hwa's presence was enough to make one forget about everything in fear of death.

In the silence, Jung Hwa could pick Seoyeon's heartbeat, the sadness he noticed but that wasn't all. There was disgust, anger, and hatred rooted from her past.

The smile appearing on Jung Hwa's lips widened, "Where did you got the money from?" asked Jung Hwa to the man who hoped he could be one with the walls his hand was holding tight now.

The headmaster had a taste of Jung Hwa's raw power destroying his leg a moment ago. It was yet broken but fractured and he was sure the devil could do more. The headmaster know he couldn't lie unless he could cost his own life, "It is the money gave by the sponsors who wish to help the orphans."

Jung Hwa ran his finger on the surface of the desk that was clean, "How long have you've been doing this?"

"It isn't only me! Everyone had also done the same thing the previous headmasters worked with the caretakers to take the money!" The last thing the current headmaster want is for his live to be taken. If he would die, he would make others die along with him.

"Bring it out." Jung Hwa ordered. Seoyeon behind him watched his hand stretched out waving as if to tell the human man walk and take things without describing what he want the human man to bring out. Jung Hwa was playing with him and Seoyeon rather enjoyed to see the man being played by Jung Hwa's claws.

The headmaster thought it was money Jung Hwa wish to take out. His eyes went to the window, thinking to escape, "Even if you stepped out of this room, no one would still be able to hear. Do you want to try?" There was the jolly tone when the pureblood asked, wanting the human to choose and try.

The headmaster shook his head and he went over to the shelf, pulling to show money stacked on the side surface that was worth millions. Seoyeon watched the man deed's revealed and her felt more disgusted by the man.

"Please take this and let me go." The man begged and for a moment he saw Jung Hwa's smile to feel relief that was short lived.

"This wasn't what I told you to bring it out. I want a rope." The red eyed man said, looking nothing less than the devil the human man thought.

"What?"

"I believe you still have your ears or is it a decoration? Perhaps if I pull your ears now you would have a better hearing?" Jung Hwa inclined his head, his ears continuously picking up Seoyeon's heartbeat and the emotions he could perceive from it. "Bring me a rope so that if I kill you, we could make it as suicide."

The man quickly darted his eyes at the door, fear soaking in his face and he could only say, "Please not my life! There are people here that you could take than me!"

"Yet I want your life," Jung Hwa replied back and his grin widened when he saw the man losses blood from his face. "I know what you do. The series of abuses and the stealing of rights."

Taking one step forward, the man ran two steps backward and Jung Hwa caught the man by his neck, hoisting him up for the headmaster to struggle and get out from the hold on his neck.

"Let me go! Help! HELP!" The human man screamed on top of his lungs for Jung Hwa's hand to tightened on his neck until he couldn't breathe.

For one moment Jung Hwa's smile disappeared. He should kill the man now but the associates would be problematic to him. Few broken bones would be fine though.

When the headmaster was unable to breathe, Jung Hwa loosened his fingers, "Where do you want him to have his bone broken, Seoyeon? Arms, legs, or neck but neck would make him dead."

The headmaster who felt dizzy from the lack of breaths huffed to turn his eyes at the figure who had been standing behind Jung Hwa.
