I'm The Boss's Secretary?!
Chapter 281 - Hate Me Or You-III
It didn't take much time for Jung Hwa to understand this but it needed him many hours to be able to understand the expression Seoyeon held now where she looked hurt and pained. He didn't have much word to offer to her whether it was sorry as the person who had killed her parents were his grandfather.
Without saying anything for the first few minutes, he engulf her to his embrace, "I'm sorry," and he didn't put many excuses, waiting for her to react.
Seoyeon suddenly shook her head and she pulled away, the action had Jung Hwa startled as he thought she had rejected her. It had been barely an hour and half since their relationship started, was the ship going to smash by waves that came out of no where?
Ange and frustration came over Jung Hwa, he didn't want their love to end here nor he wanted Seoyeon to hate him or his family, "Listen to me, Seoyeon-"
"I'm not angry, Hwa," Seoyeon interrupted him and there was a smile on her face but he could only see that smile was filled with sadness.
"You don't have to lie to me," Jung Hwa responded, "Hiding your emotions when you are sad will only break you from inside. I know I sound selfish, but I don't want you to stay heartbroken and pretend you are fine. To be hated by you is the last thing I want to happen but you can get angry."
Seoyeon shook her head, stifling emotions came to her heart but she could tell it wasn't anger. She didn't feel repulsive when Jung Hwa had touched her and pulled her to his embrace and she didn't feel angry toward Grandfather Jung who had killed her parents.
"I never knew them," Seoyeon started as she felt her hand squeezed by Jung Hwa, "I never knew my parents. I didn't remember talking to them and perhaps it's because I have lost my memories. I can't say for sure that they love me but I heard from your grandfather that killing your grandfather was their last mission so they could step out of the dark witches' world."
Jung Hwa didn't say anything, keeping his ears attentive to her words so he won't miss a single thing she had uttered, and let the emotions that bubble in her to pour out.
"The fact that they still thought about me makes me happy. At the same time I wouldn't want them to kill anyone just for my sake, or for them to kill your grandfather. Until now I'm not sure how they are, whether they were a good or bad parents, or whether I love them," Seoyeon said, confessing her relationship and what she felt toward her late parents.
Jung Hwa nodded his head softly, "And what makes you feel sad?"
"They were my parents and yet I don't have a slightest emotions toward them. But somewhere, I feel terrible," Seoyeon said, without knowing a slide of tear slipped from the corner of her eyes and Jung Hwa automatically moved forward, bringing his hand to wipe her tears. "I don't know if it was right for me to hate them and maybe I felt angry because they left me all alone, but somewhere my heart hurts when I learn that they've died. I-I don't understand. I can't understand my own feeling."
Confusion written on Seoyeon's face along with sadness, Jung Hwa didn't let her alone with the wind blowing that would turn her body cold. He moved and embraced her, "Some times you can't tell your own emotions and that is alright. Everyone went that phase once in a while where they can't understand whether they are sad or angry, emotions are drawn in a thin line that a greatest happiness could even turn to the greatest sadness with only a light sway for emotion. If it's hard for you to face your emotions now, you can sort it out later and find what it's name; or you can forget them fully by ignoring them. Burdening yourself by trying to find out what you are feeling right now, will only make you suffer more. Emotions are meant to be experienced and learn just like how you are trying to breathe under the water. If tears will make you feel better, then cry. I will be here to wipe your tears and hear you out."
Seoyeon parted her pursed lips. Jung Hwa's touch of kindness were like a canon ball, breaking the last wall of her tears dam. Her tears rolled one of after another from her eyes. The way he had spoke to her were light and filled with love and kindness. It helped her to feel at ease and the waves of emotions that overflow in her heart felt as if it had calmed down.
Seoyeon never knew that a person's body could be this warm and her head instinctively buried deeper to his chest, "If I cry more, I will wither."
Jung Hwa chuckled, her jokes mean that she had stabilized her emotions by crying, "I don't mind. You will just have a husband that stayed as handsome as ever and perfect but no matter how you look, I will love you."
Seoyeon can't help but to raise her eyebrow, "Really? I might be a witch but I will get old, right?"
Jung Hwa looked at her as she said this, "If you don't turn to a vampire, yes. I prefer you to stay by my side forever but it's your choice whether you want to become a vampire or not and I will respect all your choices."
Seoyeon leaned back, pulling away from his chest to meet his eyes, "I don't want to leave you alone," she whispered back and while looking back at him who stared at her, she went forward and this time it was her who hugged him, "Thank you."
Jung Hwa's eyes never left Seoyeon the entire time as she spoke, "I should be the one to say thank you. For staying by my side even after what my grandfather did."
"He didn't do wrong," Seoyeon said, as she understood it clearer than anyone of how evil dark witches were, "They might be my parents but the killings they did, no matter what the reason is it had never been right.. They might have meet their punishment."
Without saying anything for the first few minutes, he engulf her to his embrace, "I'm sorry," and he didn't put many excuses, waiting for her to react.
