I'm The Boss's Secretary?!

Chapter 319 - Burying The Truth-III

As fast as magnets of opposite poles were attracted, Seoyeon's eyebrows were drawn into a knot. Hunters? she asked in her mind, finding then the same way her brows automatically drew together, Lee Young's eyes fell to her.

Words were unneeded for the obvious and they all knew who was it that could be the reason for the Hunters' arrival. Lee Young pulled something from his picket, dangling of metal rang like bell to her ears and she saw the man tossed a key to the servant.

"Bring her to the Solitaire," Lee Young instructed, he sounded very prepared which could be the reason for Jung Hwa's strong credence to have her stayed at the man's house. "Keep yourself hidden well, would you?"

Seoyeon thanked the man by bowing her neck which he didn't reply as he walked out of the room. The servant then brought her away from the sitting room. One which Seoyeon noticed was how Lee Young's house was not only large but mostly antique and perhaps it was due to his taste's influence as he was brought up long ago— before her birth.

The entrance of Lee Young's house was built with two large leave of doors, it was tall and wide; two men stood in front of the door. One which Seoyeon was very familiar of as he was her younger brother; while the other was also a man who Seoyeon knew as they had exchanged introduction in the past.

Kwon Huan looked up at the house, how strange. It was a pureblood house and to smell the scent of blood was something that normal, the fact that he couldn't smell the rustic scent didn't make Lee Young less suspicious, instead, it only turn him to take the information with a deeper skepticism.

The door was opened again. In the beginning after they had explained their identity and prove themselves, the servant didn't hide his vigilant eyes. The other servant against the door also stared at them with shadow eyes, causing them to feel as though they were thieving and perhaps being a thief was much better as they knew they were at fault. But the two hunters didn't steal, yet they were looked like one.

Han Seojun had heard about the first generation pureblood but it was only now did he had the chance to see the person in flesh. The creaked sound which came from the hinge became the first welcome. The younger hunter was startled upon whom he saw.

Lee Young wasn't like what he imagined. In his mind, first generation pureblood would be much older in lieu of how the man appeared now, like he was in his late twenty, his youthful smile irked him as it reminded of the pureblood who love his sister and whom his sister love.

But it was the eyes that confirmed Seojun this man was the had of the house. He couldn't explain it, once anyone saw Lee Young's eyes and their gaze met, no doubt would they turn their eyes away. The man had his own charisma that could both scare and intimidate anyone.

"Hunters..." Lee Young brushed his eyes over the two men, offering a polite smile then, "Is there any debt I might owe you two?"

Seojun smiled a small chuckle passed by his teeth, even as he saw his smile, he was uneasy, because it is rare now to find pureblood who is hinged than the ones who was shrewd in many method one cannot fathom.

"I am sure there won't be any debt you cannot afford to pay for us to come here, Mr. Lee. I am Black and this is," Seojun let his word hang for Kwon Huan to take the platform.

"My alias is called Moon," Kwon Huan was polite with his words.

"Nice to meet you but let's not stall. I have a work I need to do. What do I owe your honor again?"

While Lee Young left and Seoyeon was brought to a place directed by the servant. She looked up, finding the large board name settled above the door and the word was written similar to what Lee Young called earlier, the Solitaire.

"Please stay here, Miss Seoyeon. The Hunters tend to check the rooms but they wouldn't check here."

Seoyeon had only studied how the room appeared from outside, not knowing how it is from the insides, therefore, question filled her mind like firecrackers, "Why they wouldn't search this room?"

The servant went tongue-tied, "You will know," he answered and passed the key to her.

Strange, thought Seoyeon but no time can be waste as if the Hunters see her now, who had price numbered over her head by various factions, quickly strut inside the room.

It was dark. No light was on and Seoyeon used her sense of touch to find her way inside the room. When she felt something that felt like a switch, her finger pushed the top part and a click sounded for light to appear. The white and yellowish light blinked black and white until it became stable but it didn't make the room any less brighter than before.

It was still dimmed. Seoyeon looked around, feeling chill brushing her skin when she saw the place was filled with tall metal drawers that seemed as though it could fit a human body there. A single bed was placed underneath a smaller light which was turned off. When she came closer there, a wad of bump formed on her throat, seeing the bloody cotton, scalpel used to operate on human's skin and some other mess which was stained by splatters and varnish of light red liquid washed here and there like a scene from a ghastly movie.

As if it was not enough to surprise Seoyeon in a way she hadn't expected it, a fleshy and solid appendage lurked over her shoulders, casting two dimensional darkness over her clothes.

Seoyeon could also feel the shadow towering her, her heart fell on shock, she could have screamed in surprise but a moment of inaction caught her. She rotated her head behind in speed of a blink and her eyes only enlarged, "Yu Sheen!"

"Miss Seoyeon!" Yu Sheen was also startled over seeing her, "So you are here! I thought it was a thief who came here. Master Lee told me that thief always come to this room. Though I don't know what they would loot from this place where Master Lee spend his time here only to perform surgery."

"Surgery?" Seoyeon curiously questioned, unable to help herself from uttering it aloud.

"Yes, Master Lee is a doctor. Humans' and Vampires' doctors," said Yu Sheen, proud with the way he talked and could be seen in the way his chest was puffed.

Seoyeon chuckled but her smile fell as she perused hard on Yu Sheen's chest. The half vampire was confused at first and later turned embarrassed. He pulled his hands across his chest, "Uh..."

"You have been healed," Seoyeon said with a relieved breath exhaled. It was like an hour ago that she saw Yu Sheen brought back with a large and perfect hole on his chest. Belatedly she realized it was no longer there. "But how?"

"Master Lee saved me," answered Yu Sheen, "He was also the person who changed my body into a half vampire. It is why he is able to heal me. He told me that I am quite unique than other half vampires."

"And which why your healing is slow?" Seoyeon took the guess and she was confirmed when Yu Sheen excitedly cocked his head up and down. "Thank Heavens that you look safe and sound, no wounds and is healed now."

"I was lucky, what are you doing here, Miss Seoyeon?" Yu Sheen asked because he knew what this place meant for. Other than it is Lee Young's favorite hiding place it was also place for one to secretly hide.

"I am residing here as a guest and some troublesome people who are chasing for us... me came which why he told me to stay here," she explained.

"Of course, this room is the most foolproof that no one can ever come in. Even if they knew there is this room, they won't be able to enter as Master Lee hold a certificate from the Associates which allow him to use any method to guard this room. It's very safe to hide that this is the reason why Hunters don't want to attack this room," Yu Sheen unexpectedly had turned chattier and Seoyeon didn't mind, having a company was better than being alone anyway

"But won't the Hunters would use other means to check this room? Have there never been the case where no one dared to check this roo—" Which why wise one said, never to call Devil's name thrice as it would appear.

A knock resounded from the outside of the door. A crisp voice then spoke which was muffled due to the distance of the outside place and the inside room, "I know you are in there."

Seoyeon gulped, placing her index finger before her lips to tell Yu Sheen not to speak.. It wasn't the servants as from what Seoyeon saw since the inception of her stay, she learned how polite the people who talked with her but not now, the way this man demanded reply from their side.
