I'm The Boss's Secretary?!

Chapter 366 - Harmlessness-I

When Seoyeon had pulled away from the hug, she slowly walked toward the bed, seeing that it was Grandfather Jung on the bed. She frowned when looking at how pale he was.

Kwon Huan spoke, "Thankfully Mr. Jung had closed the bleeding or else it would have been too late."

Seoyeon finally took a turn and look at the man, seeing him, she narrowed her eyes. She might or might have not seen him before. Somewhere in her memories she felt like she knew this person but at the same time not.

Kwon Huan stood up and he reached out his hand, "It's been a long time, Haneul."

Seoyeon stared at the man's hand. She was hesitant and it wasn't because she didn't know the man but because she knew he had got the wrong person. She shook her head and returned his handshake. "I am not Haneul, I am Han Seoyeon."

Kwon Huan raised his brows, "I know, in the current life you are called as Han Seoyeon but in the past you are Sol Haneul."

In time, the fortuneteller, Yeseul came behind them, entering the room. The fact that the fortuneteller looked completely calm despite after Kwon Huan calling her Haneul meant she had learned about her past life and the true enemy who had killed her family and the reason why.

Seoyeon once again shook her head and retract her hand. "I am Han Seoyeon, my soul is my own. Unlike some of you, I am not reincarnated."

Kwon Huan stared at her as if he had been fooled. Like someone who had just had his cat kidnapped, he looked confused as well as unaccepting. "No. No, you have the catalyst power. You are Haneul. Don't you remember me? I look different in my past life but you should have remembered me by now. I am JaeGil."

Kwon Huan had took a step forward and caught her arms. Jung Hwa who stood beside Seoyeon didn't like the gesture at all and stopped the man by holding his wrists and tear his paws off his woman.

"As far as I am grateful you had saved my grandfather the last thing I would agree is you forcing your idea while gripping to her arm."

As if he finally realize what he did, Kwon Huan appeared taken aback. He then pulled his hand on the sides and went to silence. "Where is Haneul then? All of us had been reincarnated."

"All?" Seoyeon tried to ask again for a repentance. "If it is all that would mean you, Yeseul, Han Anhye, and... Min Hyuk."

JaeGil pressed his forehead. "I thought you were Haneul and Mr. Jung was Min Hyuk but no matter how many times I have checked it since we first met, I noticed Min Hyuk wasn't in him. I had hoped Haneul would be in you even if it is by a little."

"Haneul had exhausted her power after she had kill all the remaining dark and light witches," Haneul then turned to look at the fortuneteller, "She never meant to bring any of you back to life and went to continue the cycle of misfortune by watching others die. She didn't mean to be a burden to the vessels as well. She cannot control her power. At her last moment, she only made a small wish to meet you all again."

The fortuneteller pursed her lips. She had just found out the person she hated had been the wrong person all this time and to change her mind suddenly wasn't as easy as she wished it to be.

JaeGil, on the other hand, was completely disappointed. Seoyeon knew how much JaeGil had proven to love Haneul. Even as Haneul had gotten married, despite all, JaeGil stood against his own families and friends all for the sake of both justice of the right and also Haneul.

"How is grandfather's condition?" Seoyeon then questioned.

"He should be alright for now. Once he woke up, he would need to drink a lot of blood. Light witches heal any wounds the strongest but if it is illness, even us have our limits," answered JaeGil after coming back from his surprise.

When JaeGil went to speak with Yeseul, Seoyeon looked at Jung Hwa who stared back at her with worries, "Are you alright?" Seoyeon asked him because he didn't look like he was alright.

"I was shocked but fortunately my grandfather is alright for now, I am okay. What about you? Do you know who that two person were?"

Seoyeon nodded her head, "I saw the past before they were reincarnated. JaeGil and Yeseul are friends of Haneul, the first catalyst. Where did you go?"

"Only outside of the house and taking care of the dark witches and went to Grandfather's house. It appears that the dark witches intention was this," Jung Hwa pulled out the black book. "This is the same book that we got during the time we invade the witches' lair near Myeongdong."

Seoyeon took the book to her hand and opened it. When she read the first two lines, her brows furrowed in shock of what she learned here, "This is resurrection magic. It's the Queen! When I saw Haneul's past, there was this one Queen who had resulted into the incident along with the light witch who then turned into dark witch called Madam Yoo. This book is what they have used to bring the Queen back to life," Seoyeon explained. "The head of the black witches are a dark witch and I suspect she is the same Queen. Unlike JaeGil and Yeseul, she didn't rebirth, she had never died after her heart resurrected her again from death thousands of years ago."

Jung Hwa accept the explanation with a deep frown. "What about the woman called Madam Yoo, is she still alive?"

"I would say she has died," Seoyeon answered, "Haneul combusted her entire body into ashes, leaving no part. But I won't say anything for certain as I only had the memories of the first catalyst and not the entire vessels of the catalyst."

Jung Hwa narrowed his eyes. So Seoyeon's entire misfortune happened because there were groups of people who wasn't able to finish their business before their died.

What are they, their cleaner? The person whose worked was to take care the matters of others because they weren't able to?

But then Jung Hwa saw how Seoyeon was determined to see this through until it ends and even though he didn't see why he should help, he also want to end this problem and the dark witches at once.

"If the Queen wants this book, I can only guess that she want to bring back Madam Yoo. Compared to her, Madam Yoo is far stronger with her magic and more knowledgeable. We should stop her before she could get her hands on the book," suggested Seoyeon in a thought.

In the time, JaeGil and Yeseul had came inside the room and overheard this. "Maybe we should bury the book on the ground," suggested JaeGil.

"That would be too easy for them to find out. There are creatures called the diggers who often helped the witches. They were gone around three hundred years ago but not long ago I saw them," Yeseul answered, "Most witches also thought hiding books on the ground would prevent others from finding it. I think we should create a large seal. I might know how to do it."

Hearing the suggestion it sounded good, thought Seoyeon but Jung Hwa said, "How important is this book?"

Seoyeon meet his eyes, "Very important. But not as well. From what I read not only do they need life sacrifices of three colored witches, the resurrected being of this book are mentioned to only be witches."

"Which mean humans and others cannot be resurrected," asked Jung Hwa for confirmation. Seoyeon can tell he seem to have something in mind as he walked away from the room. Curious, she followed him three steps behind.

Both JaeGil and Yeseul looked at each other as they followed the two as well. Seojun didn't understand much but he stood up and followed them from behind, wondering what trick would the pureblood do.

"I am sure many would like to bring their friends back to life but doing so will only burden those who are in the future who had no relation or whatsoever to them," the words Jung Hwa said was a light jab. "It's time for them to let the dead be at rest," and after his words, he pushed the spine of the book toward the flame of the candle.

JaeGil and Yeseul's eyes widened. "What are you doing?!" JaeGil yelled in panic, trying to get the book but Jung Hwa pulled his hand away so the witch held nothing but air.

"Burying the book will lead to one day someone would finding it. Sealing the book inside a treasure or a box will also have the same result. We want this book to never be found by anyone. This is the best method, any complain?" Jung Hwa's red eyes stared at the two witches. "Just so you know, I am fucking tired of being entangled by the witches. What we should do is to prevent them coming back to life forever. Isn't this book our nemesis to this plan then?"

Seoyeon was also taken aback to see Jung Hwa burning the book and her eyes tore itself from staring at the burning book, she stood beside him and placed her palm before the book, letting the fire to blaze faster.

"I agree," Seoyeon said, siding with Jung Hwa. "This entire fight began because of the witches. I know there are some who are right and also wrong the ones who should be punished for what they did. But we should accept those who had died and left our side without trying to bring them back to life because boy everyone wish to be back to life. It can be a curse, like you two. Our priority is to end the head of the dark witches and forever put their plan under the ground."

JaeGil sighed and pressed his forehead before he nodded, "You are right. Then what plan do anyone of you have about killing the Queen? I hate to say this but Yeseul is strong yet she won't be able to use her power in her best shape when her eyes haven't been healed. I suggest she stay here and protect those who need help and healing. That would leave three of us. But I hate to say three of us won't be enough against hoard of the black witches in our current situation."

Seoyeon understood what JaeGil meant. Jung Hwa was still pale. She can tell he had used too much of his ability while she had just learned to use her power without the proper experience of using it.

Jung Hwa looked at Seoyeon, "It would be great if the Associate and Hunters stop chasing for us but I would say not as well. I found Gun Nam working with the black witches. There was documents found that he had erased traces of the black witches, allowing them to hide and get a free pass after killing someone. That would leave us the Hunters. The head of the hunters are known for his deep hatred against witches we might be able to use his help and trust his hatred."

"But Cole is angry," Seojun answered from the side, "He hates vampires and witches, also the catalyst. It won't be easy to convince him."

"But compared to his hatred with vampires and witches, aren't humans' life important to him?" Jung Hwa questioned while looking at Seojun.

Seoyeon saw Seojun nod, "If it is in exchange for people's life, he might look away from his hate."

"What we need to do is to proof that Seoyeon is as harmless as she is and we would guarantee ourselves a strong ally," answered Jung Hwa and he held Seoyeon's hand, "It will be okay," he assured because his matter how strong Seoyeon was, he was still able to hear and know the emotions riding her.

"I'm not afraid, if I am with you," whispered Seoyeon, and she looked at the other three, "I think I might have a plan to show how harmless I am."
