I'm The Boss's Secretary?!

Chapter 403 - Last Wish-I

Seoyeon didn't wait and continue to sent the woman all attacks she could muster, not forgetting to use her magic like she did earlier with added physical attack. The Mistress who was unprepared was attacked over and over. Being on the receiving end that caused her rage to boom.

"Get off me!" The Mistress yelled, sending a powerful echo of her ability which bust out, hurling Seoyeon meters away.

But Seoyeon's reflex was as quick as a cat as she formed a stronger block of invisible wall to repel the woman's attack. "Do you think only you can do a burst attack?" Seoyeon's eyes glimmered as she wind all her energy to her palm before bursting it out, throwing the Mistress away as she did to her earlier.

Seoyeon's eyes then quickly went to her left when she saw Jung Hwa dragging Min Hyuk out of the rundown mansion. Holding the man by his head, Jung Hwa appeared to be in a thought when he also noticed Seoyeon standing not too far from him.

"Should I whack his head to the tree and see if he can remember his memories clearer?" Jung Hwa questioned her and Seoyeon shook her head as she knew Jung Hwa had been more than half serious about what he uttered.

"Change your enemy with me," Seoyeon requested and Jung Hwa's lips set thinly before he agreed.

When the Mistress got back on her feet, Jung Hwa had suddenly appeared before the woman, "You know I am angry. Regardless it seems that it is wrong for me to punch the life out of that man from earlier. Therefore please be kind and help me vent my anger on you wouldn't you?"

The mistress who was angered for being thrown like a rag by Seoyeon responded to Jung Hwa's words with an attack but Jung Hwa was quicker to slice the woman's hand, resulting into a piercing scream from the Mistress.

"YOU WILL REGRET IT!" The woman's curling scream echoed throughout the forest, causing the birds that had nested to fly away as if in fear. The sky above them had also turn darker in hint or purple.

"I WILL MAKE YOU REGRET WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO ME!"

Seoyeon who heard the woman scream frowned in worry before she looked at Min Hyuk. Crouching down to the ground, she reached out her hand to the man's head.

"Haneul," she requested the first catalyst whose soul continue to reside separately inside her.

'I won't take long,' promised the woman and for a brief moment, Seoyeon felt her shoulder lifted as Haneul had moved from her body leaving toward Min Hyuk side.

Seoyeon decided to bring Min Hyuk's body away from the battlefield and leave the rest to Haneul's hands, leaving and making her way once again to end the Mistress who had gotten to her last stage of attack.

Min Hyuk found himself on the past again. On his chest was a large cavity and having seen this before for hundred of times, he could tell at once this was his past memory again.

Despite the agonizing pain on his chest, the burning feeling, there was no fear of death in him. Instead, there was a deep sadness in his heart accompanied by longing and worries.

When he closed his eyes, he could still remember it like yesterday how it was passing by the maple leaf trees which he found blooming on the yard of Sol Family.

At the time, he had came after following his family who grumbled about the need of meeting the human families for their trading business.

At the time Min Hyuk had always hold the idea that humans and vampires are no less nor no greater than one another. He cannot understand how his family's pride had been shattered that they have to visit a human family, wanting the latter to come from them.

Tired of how his family's pointless blabbers about their pride as vampires and whatnots, he sink himself into the background before finding himself a way to leave and look around the magnificent house.

It was that day when he remembered seeing the young lady who was still small trying to dance using her folding fan. She stumbled over steps, falling down that made him flinch as the fall had been loud. Worries than come to him who had been watching the girl for a long time that she would be shedding tears. But the girl surprises him by pushing herself from the ground and taking the folding fan again.

Like that, the girl continue to practice her dance with a smile on her lips as if she was enjoying what she did. Looking at the girl, caused Min Hyuk to feel warmth.

He wondered what was making the girl happy. Her dance practice had been unsuccessful and she had fallen down the ground for couple of times, almost every five steps even as her dress continue to restrain her from making the big movements she wanted.

Regardless, the girl dance with a smile.

It made him question if the view that the girl saw was different from him? Was the world that always so monotonous to him was instead full of colors on her eyes?

Min Hyuk wanted to see more but he was met with his parents who dragged him away. However not soon he met the girl again when the Sol Family introduced him to her.

To the date, Min Hyuk remembered reaching out his hand, smiling as he introduced himself and watching the girl whose cheeks reddening returning his greeting.

When Min Hyuk thought the dream would end there as it had always been, he saw the world turning brought again. Light filling his eyes which he tried to adjust his gaze at. He then saw the figure of a woman standing before him.

There was a smile so joyful on her lips that also appeared sad as they met gazes.

With gentle voice as if practicing in secret, Haneul called, "Min Hyuk."
