Before dawn the next day, Li Rushu woke up. He was going to start alone, but after thinking for a long time last night, he decided to take a bodyguard, which was more convenient along the way.

After a person was selected in his heart, Li Rushu quietly opened the door and secretly poked out his head. He found that there was no one around, so he stole to the maid's residence.

"Spring peach, wake up." Li Rushu lowered his voice and shouted softly.

Chuntao frowned and her eyelashes trembled slightly. When she saw Li Rusu, she opened her eyes and was ready to get out of bed to salute.

When Li Rusu saw the action of Chuntao, he pressed her anxiously, stretched out a finger and put it in front of his mouth.

Chuntao glanced for a week, and Li Rushu motioned her to go out with herself.

The two went farther, and Li Rusu showed their destination.

"Chuntao, I want to take you to the place where the Lord disappeared to see if there are any clues. Do you have any opinions?" Li Rushu looked at Chuntao and said seriously.

Chuntao was surprised that she was not the best, but the princess chose to take her, which moved Chuntao a little.

"Chuntao listens to the princess." Chuntao quickly knelt down and said faithfully.

Li Rusu nodded, picked up Chuntao, lowered his voice and said, "go back and pack your bags. Don't wake up others. It's not too late. Gather here in a quarter of an hour and start immediately."

Chuntao nodded. Li Rusu didn't procrastinate. He turned and set out to the kitchen, ready to bring some dry food and water on the way.

When Li Rushu came to gather, Chuntao had prepared the horses. They were afraid of waking others. They took the horses for a long way before they rode up and drove to the land away.

When they arrived at a teahouse, they had a rest. Li Rusu thought that they could not drive blindly all the way. It was the best policy to ask for information while walking.

Li Rusu looked at Chuntao who was drinking tea seriously, turned his eyes and said slowly, "Chuntao, you are responsible for inquiring about quicksand along the way."

She knows that inquiring for information is a very good thing for the bodyguards in the family.

Chuntao nodded.

"Princess, don't worry." Chuntao vowed.

The journey was smooth. Every time he rested at a post station, Li Rusu sat in the house and waited. Chuntao went out alone to inquire about the news.

But after driving several post stations, I got nothing.

"Spring peach, haven't you heard yet?" Looking at Chuntao coming back, Li Rusu asked urgently as always.

Chuntao shook her head with some guilt.

Li Rushu's eyes gradually darkened, and he said in a low voice, "go and see again."

Then he whispered like a self comforting: "in case there is news at the next post station."

Chuntao's eyes flashed a trace of apology and slowly said, "Princess..."

Li Rushu turned his head, smiled comfortingly at Chuntao and said, "it's all right, Chuntao, have a rest early and go on your way."

Closer and closer to the destination, but there was no news at all, which made Li Rushu feel more and more depressed.

As usual, she had a rest at the post station. She thought there should be no news today, so she was ready to rest and go to bed.

Just lying down, Chuntao pushed the door and ran in rashly, shouting eagerly, "princess, princess."

Li Rusu stood up, quickly held Chuntao, frowned, and asked curiously, "what's the matter?"

Generally, the bodyguard will knock on the door when there is something urgent, but Chuntao comes in directly. It must be a big event, which makes Li Rushu nervous and inexplicable expectation.

Chuntao said anxiously with some joy: "I heard, princess, there has been a large-scale quicksand recently."

"But..." Chuntao paused.

Li Rushu's eyes flashed a look of excitement. He held Chuntao's sleeve tightly and asked anxiously, "but what?"

Chuntao flashed a trace of doubt and said slowly, "but there was no news of casualties."

When Li Rusu heard this, he stagnated for a few seconds, his eyes turned red, and finally a smile appeared on his face. He whispered, "great, great."

"Are you sure about the message?" Li Rushu pinched himself and asked again.

Chuntao said more seriously, "Chuntao dare not cheat the princess."

As soon as Li Rusu changed his previous depression, he had a bright color.

"Princess, it is said that there are casualties in the capital." Chun Tao scratched his head, blinked and asked Li Rusu with a puzzled face.

Li Rusu narrowed his eyes, looked out of the window and said softly, "I doubt that someone with a heart must have maliciously made up rumors."

"But who dares to make up rumors about usurping the Lord?" Chun Tao frowned and asked.

Li Rusu sighed, shook his head helplessly, and said slowly, "I don't know. It needs the Lord to come back to solve it."

"Spring peach, rest early. We have to hurry up." Li Rushu can't wait to see Lu Li and ask him what's going on.

Chuntao nodded and left.

After many days, they finally came to the place of the incident.

Because of the appearance of quicksand, the camp is in a mess. Wounded soldiers keep coming in and out, and strong soldiers are still patrolling, but there are obviously fewer soldiers.

Li Rusu frowned, regardless of anything else, and kept looking at the people coming and going.

"Princess, it's quicksand." Chuntao looked at the devastated scene and said slowly.

Li Rusu nodded and said, "Chuntao, you also know the bodyguards around the Lord. Look carefully. I'm afraid I'll miss it."

When a familiar figure appeared, Li Rusu's eyebrows stretched slightly. She recognized that the man was Lu Li's bodyguard.

"Where is the prince?" Li Rushu quickly ran over, grabbed the guard's arm and asked anxiously.

The bodyguard obviously didn't expect Li Rushu to come here. Just a flash of surprise was ready to salute. When he heard Li Rushu's inquiry, he was stunned.

Li Rushu looked at the guard's dull appearance, pushed him hard, increased his voice, and asked eagerly, "where is the Lord now?"

The guard didn't speak, just lowered his head and looked embarrassed.

Li Rusu took a deep breath and said calmly, "tell the truth, I can bear any result."

The bodyguard Putong knelt on the ground and said with a slight cry, "the prince had an accident when he was in quicksand and fell into the cave below."

Li Rusu closed her eyes and the warm sunshine spread on her. She only felt the cold and trembling of her body.

Fingers pinched the palm, and a trace of blood appeared in the palm, but Li Rushu tried to control his emotions as if he didn't know.

"Then where?" Li Rushu's voice trembled.

The bodyguard's head lowered and said sadly, "we've gone out to find the Lord in turn these days, but we haven't heard from him yet."
