Tension rose in the air as man and monster looked themselves in the eyes. The Grandmaster, 100 feet tall stared at the young man whose height barely reached its ankle.

"SO WHAT IS YOUR ANSWER?" The Grandmaster questioned for the last time.

Darey looked up at the giant monstrosity, closed his eyes, smiled and said "Go to hell"

"BOOM!" A huge explosion erupted as the Grandmaster hit Darey with one of it's four arms. The shock caused the entire ground to quake, as even the large chipped floor caused by Darey's earlier explosion began to crack apart.

"Darey!" Tenny shouted. He had moved to the start of the entrance point and was peeking from the entrance to see what was occurring.

"INFERIOR CREATURES AND THEIR ARROGANCE. JUST A LITTLE RECOGNITION FROM A HIGHER POWER AND THEY ARE DELUDED TO IMAGINE REBELLION" The Grandmaster said turning away.

"Whew... that was one hell of a punch" Darey's voice came from the dust which eventually faded, revealing him to be unscathed by the enemy's initial attack. Tenny was relieved to see Darey was fine.

"GOOD. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN DISAPPOINTING IF YOU HAD FALLEN FROM JUST A SINGLE PUNCH. AMUSING BRAT, I'LL PLAY WITH YOU A BIT BEFORE LEAVING FOR MY CONQUEST" The monster taunted, looking back toward the direction of its prey.

"Then let us begin" Darey smiled.

The huge creature launched all four arms and punched the single spot Darey stood consecutively as the ground cracked and broke apart.

"HOW'S THIS? HOPE YOU DON'T DIE FROM THIS... AFTER I'LL I'M JUST STRETCHING MY STIFF JOINTS" The Grandmaster shouted as it continued it's punch volley.

The entire ground platform broke and shattered apart causing Darey to take to the air.

"WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?" The Grandmaster said as he directed all four hands toward Darey who was in mid air to launch a massive punch, causing Darey to forcefully hit a wall, shattering it to pieces.

The sonic boom generated caused the walls to break apart as Tenny watched in wonder from a safe distance.

"Interesting... So this is the full force of your fists attacking at once." Darey spoke as he flew from the wall and back to face the Giant, still unscathed.

"SURPRISING... NOT A SINGLE SCRATCH ON YOU EVEN AFTER MY ATTACKS. IS THIS YOUR ABILITY?" The Grandmaster said, clearly shocked.

"You could say that... Darey said, revealing a shield which covered his body. The green force field surrounded his entire body, revealing the cause for his non injured state. The green light hummed and faded away. "I'm amazed though... You managed to reduce the shield's integrity and disabled it's function until after cooldown... Impressive" Darey analyzed calmly.

"STOP PATRONIZING ME. THAT WAS JUST A WARMUP! NOW THAT WE'VE GOT THAT PESKY FIELD OUT OF THE WAY, I'LL START FOR REAL NOW!" It spoke, visibly a bit upset.

As it attempted to raise its fist at Darey, he suddenly vanished. Appearing directly before the Grandmaster's face.

"Too slow." Darey smiled.

Before it could react, Darey punched it on the cheek and it flew several miles, crashing into the wall, creating a hole within it. "Now that's a punch" Darey said, rubbing his fist with his other hand.

"INTERESTING..." the voice came from within the gaping hole as the eyes of the Grandmaster shone in the dark hole. "IT SEEMS I WAS UNDERESTIMATING YOU. IT'S TIME I SHOWED YOU... WHAT IT MEANS TO BE ON TOP!"

Suddenly a red ray of light appeared, directed toward Darey. The destructive capacity higher than the ones of the elite guards combined. The ray straightly flowed as the blast destroyed the wall behind Darey and anything in its path for miles.

Luckily, Darey had managed to evade the beam, just before it reached him. "That was close..." He heaved looking toward the destruction the surge of energy caused. Suddenly the monster appeared behind him "YOU SHOULD NEVER TAKE YOUR EYES OFF THE ENEMY, BRAT!

"Darey watch out" Tenny shouted.

"TOO BAD... I WANTED TO PLAY WITH YOU MORE" The Grandmaster lamented "I GUESS YOUR COMRADE WILL DO. I WONDER HOW LONG HE WILL LAST" It said as it looked toward Tenny's direction and started moving toward him.

"NO NEED TO HIDE, I CAN CLEARLY SEE THROUGH ALL OBSTACLES AND ANY RUSE. THAT'S HOW I KNOW YOU'RE BEHIND THAT WALL LEADING TO THE ENTRANCE" The menacing beast spoke as it kept moving toward Tenny's direction.

Tenny was frightened. In a few moments time the monster would reach him. He stood no chance, the monster had done away with Darey, and now it was his turn... "Am I going to die?" He said to himself.

"Do you trust me?" He remembered Darey saying. "Then watch... Look closely at this fight Tenny..." Darey had told him that. "...I'll show you true power..."

He remembered Darey's confident smile and then he smiled at himself. He suddenly felt silly and laughed. He appeared from where he was hiding and looked at the fearsome beast.

"OHO, SO YOU'VE DECIDED TO BE BRAVE AS WELL. NOT THAT IT MATTERS ANYWAY. I CAN SEE THROUGH MY EYE. THE ENERGY YOU POSSESS IS INDEED GREAT, BUT IT WILL NOT BE SUFFICIENT TO BEAT ME. YOU DO NOT EVEN POSSESS THE EXPERIENCE TO WIELD IT. YOU ARE WEAK!" The Grandmaster taunted.

"That might be true. I am weak... especially when compared to him. But you're leaving something out" Tenny said as he struggled to stand but smiling wildly.

"AND WHAT IS THAT?" The Grandmaster spoke, half in jest.

"Compared to Darey... You're weak too..." Tenny said smiling

Suddenly the Grandmaster looked back only to be met with a punch on his chin which sent him flying. He crashed on the ceiling, and while his body recoiled from the impact and was still in midair.

Darey spoke smiling, raising his right hand up, with his index finger pointed at the Grandmaster who looked in shock and pain "REPLICATE FORCE"

A red glow appeared , hovering above his index finger, and then in like manner as the Grandmaster fired it's attack, the red blast, now twice as large surged toward the beast falling from the ceiling. The blast pierced the ceiling and opened it up, exposing the colorless sky which shone brightly due to the crimson current. The blast subsided and dissipated. The Grandmaster then fell from its height, already fried and entirely bruised.

"CRASH!!!" It landed on the already damaged ground back facing the floor. It's entire body paralyzed and smoke emanating from its charred skin. It struggled to move its body but Darey heavily landed on its chest which resulted in a huge scream from the beast.

"H...HOW?... Y...YOU... I DEFINATELY HIT YOU WITH MY BEAM." The Grandmaster muttered tiredly, as it struggled in pain.

"Indeed you did, however, that was my clone. I used the ability "MITOTIC SYNTHESIS" which allows me duplicate my entire cells and memory as well as all my genetic information. The 'me' you destroyed was not the 'me' you see now."

"B...BUT... WHEN? HOW?" The Grandmaster was totally dumbfounded as it asked.

"It was when you initially hit me and turned away. I split, hiding my original body and allowing my duplicate to fight you." Darey said as he watched the Grandmaster painfully recollect the events leading to the present.

"B...BUT...? The Grandmaster made an attempt to speak but was interrupted.

"But why couldn't you sense me?" Darey completed the Grandmaster's struggling words. The look of the Grandmaster affirmed that Darey had hit the mark.

"I have a fair understanding of your abilities. Your top crimson eye allows you to shoot those beams, your azure eye allows you to see through any ruse and obstacles and then your amber eyes allow you to measure energy levels of an individual as well as their level of threat to you. Am I wrong?"

The Grandmaster was in utter shock as to how Darey had known all this. It had only revealed the energy blast from its crimson eye, how did he know the rest?

"My ability "COMPLETE INVESTIGATION" allows me to collect any information I want about anyone as long as I maintain a conversation with them. It's not a direct fighting ability, but it has its uses in combat" Darey answered it.

"SO... THAT'S WHY YOU WERE TALKING TO ME. YOU WERE PROBING AT MY SECRETS... YOU INFIDEL!" The Grandmaster painfully growled.

"Silence!" Darey said as he stomped on the lying monster and it bellowed in pain.

"Why else would I converse with drivel such as yourself. You were even weaker than i gave you credit for. If anyone is to blame for your loss, it would be yourself. I would have had a much harder time if you had taken me seriously instead of underestimating my abilities. Indeed my energy levels can not be compared to yours at the moment, and so you thought I could never win. You should know that certain abilities require almost no energy to use. The reason I used MITOTIC SYNTHESIS in my fight with you was because it generally duplicates every aspect of myself. Anything less and you would have discovered it was a fake. As for why you could not sense me... I simply moved to a separate space in which your eye could not reach."

The Grandmaster looked in amazement. He never had a chance of winning from the start. "I GUESS THIS MUCH SHOULD BE EXPECTED FROM THE STRONGEST OF YOUR RACE." It spoke in defeat.

"Wrong again! I am not the strongest from my race. If he were here, he would have done away with you within a second." Darey said

What? This was not even the champion of his world? This would mean its hope of conquest was all a pipe dream from the very start. The Gate being blocked was a miracle which allowed It and it's army to live a few more moments before certain death. The Grandmaster laughed at its own ignorance

"SO, IN THE END... I WAS THE WEAK ONE..." It chuckled as it groaned from the pain.

Darey coldly gazed upon the Grandmaster. He felt pity for it. It, like himself and soon earth, was also a victim of the masterminds behind everything, and the true threat. "You're an eyesore. I'll release you from your suffering" Darey finally spoke.

"LITTLE ONE... YOU MUST KNOW THEN, OF THE REAPERS AND THEIR GRAND CONQUEST. YOU AND I ARE MERELY GRAINS OF CROPS BEFORE THEM, YET YOU INTEND TO RISE ABOVE THEM DO YOU NOT?" The Grandmaster said.

"Speak for yourself. It is not merely an intention on my part. I will bring it into reality." Darey replied it.

"THE FIRE IN YOUR HEART IS GREAT. I COMMEND YOU FOR REACHING THIS FAR. I HOWEVER CAUTION YOU... THE REAPERS WILL SURELY NOT ALLOW YOU TO RISE HIGHER THAN THEIR CONTROL. NO MATTER HOW POWERFUL YOU BECOME, AS LONG AS 'THE SEED' DWELLS WITHIN YOU, YOU ARE STILL AT THEIR MERCY" The Grandmaster struggled to say.

"Showing concern for the enemy are we?" Darey spoke smiling softly. "Isn't that weak?"

The Grandmaster chuckled as it said "WELL, I BELIEVE IT HAS BEEN RIGHTLY ESTABLISHED THAT I AM! NOW FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED YOUNG ONE... AND RISE ABOVE THEM. I PRAY FOR YOUR SUCCESS"

The Grandmaster spoke finally, closing its eyes as Darey finished it off.

"Well... This is a first... You're the first one... The first Grandmaster i didn't despise at their final moments. I wonder..." Darey said as he stood on the corpse of the dead Grandmaster.

"DEADMAN MONOPOLY" He uttered as the darkness covered the Grandmaster and everything else faded away.
