Infinite Hate and Undying love

As his comforting words drifted into her ears she recognized the awkward position they were in. She was hugging him so freely. But somewhere in her heart she felt a new feeling being evoked. His musky scent invaded her nostrils. He was freshly showered for his hair was dripping wet. He felt beautiful. She subconsciously touched his hair. She wanted to know how it would feel to touch it.

And the moment she touched it she regretted it. Why was she so interested in him? Did she fall in love with him?

She broke the hug with a sorry. "I'm sorry for being intrusive. Actually I was a bit distressed. Someone assaulted me in my room in the middle of the night. And that person was Lares!"

Ares was frozen for a moment. He quickly regained his senses and replied, "Are you sure it was him?"

" I'm damn sure" , came the reply.

"Okay, Atsit I will do something about this. You return to your room. I will arrange the security accordingly and then see what is to be done."

"Okay", she replied and retreated back to her room.

Looking at her retreating figure he recalled how he had to hold back his urge to taste her. She was surely the most delicious thing in this universe. And she was so pure...

But why was this Lares after her?

Though he knew that Lares disliked her from the start, he could not ascertain the reason why.

It was clear as day that all of the allegations penned against her were false and baseless.

It was a defunct notion of her being the criminal. She was yet to become a fully developed Avyu. Then how could she have committed those crimes that require a much larger skill set.

Was Lares behind all this?

But even his master, the Lord of Alhambra had acknowledged her innocent.Then why were they still keeping her there?

Did they have any ulterior motives about her?

But his lord and lady were so kind and generous. He could never forget their generosity. It was because of them that he was living such a peaceful life. No, they would not harm such an innocent creature as her.

There must really be something higher being played amidst it all. Lares vengeful eyes had confirmed his notion, and this assault on Atsit has once again proved that his notion is nor baseless.
