Infinite weird games

Summary of Volume 2 and Leave of Absence

The content of the second volume is over.

The next official update will be January 1st, which is Si Qi’s birthday. The whole book will also enter the third volume, which can be regarded as a small climax.

I am not very satisfied with the writing of the second volume.

First of all, according to the plan, the copy of "Dialectical Game" is the content of the first volume, which is mainly used to explore the relationship between the soul and the body. However, because the book has collapsed, I can only put it on the shelves in advance and put this summary copy in The beginning of the second volume connects the previous and the following. This resulted in a certain deviation in the theme of the entire volume, and the direction of the main plot began to become confusing. The copy of "The Grand Performance" that was originally intended to be placed at the end of this volume had to be moved to the third volume.

During the serialization of this volume, I have been in a state of worrying about gains and losses. After all, it is the first time it has been put on the shelves, and it is the first time I have intuitively seen market feedback such as subscription data, so I can't help but pay more attention to it. The subscriptions for this book have dropped significantly. Although my updates are unstable, the more reason is that I am not capable enough and my writing is getting worse.

Seniors have said that until you write to a certain word count, you never know what problems you will encounter. This is the first time I have written a book with more than 200,000 words. Unsurprisingly, I have encountered many difficulties. I can only learn and practice at the same time, groping in the dark, trying to push the upper limit of the number of words within my ability. .

This process is very painful. You know what a perfect thing should look like, but you can't write it, and you know clearly that what you write is garbage. You often doubt your talent and feel that you may not be good at writing at all, and you should not spend your energy in areas where you have no talent; you are lonely, no one can understand your ideas, and abuse and ridicule ensue.

I don't have a big heart like Mr. Bai Quanyi, and I can't regard reputation and reputation as floating clouds; I'm not as indifferent as Sanzha, who can go out to collect materials with peace of mind... This has caused the update and quality of this book to be in a very chaotic state. Sometimes I stop working for five or six days, and sometimes I have to write hard when the water doesn't come out. Intermittent updates or a decline in quality will make me feel a strong sense of guilt. If the total energy spent on this book is 10, then about 5 of it will be used for mental consumption.

I have read all the book reviews and this chapter. I will reply to every book review, and I will also select some replies to this chapter. I have seen everyone’s suggestions, and many of the criticisms are justified.

Starting from "The Hopeless Sea", the rhythm of the book begins to break down. In the later stages of the copy, the plot seems to be chased by a ghost, and the outline is almost thrown out. The problem with "Double Happiness" is even more serious. The whole process is foggy and unclear. Of course, this is because I was halfway through writing and the editor told me that I was not allowed to write some content and I had to change the outline; but more importantly, it is me. The writing power is insufficient, the mind is in a mess, and the preface and follow-up are inconsistent.

I also realized one thing: I can't write Chinese-style horror, or I can't write too authentic horror. I can only write about games and puzzles. I just copy folklore and supernatural things, and I can't even figure out where to scare people. clear. Therefore, the next copy of this book will probably be closer to "Thriller Paradise". The atmosphere and description will be natural, and the plot and characters will be the main focus.

As of now writing this book, the rhythm is very messy, the main plot is very broken, it is simply a mess. Every time I update, I feel guilty about shitting in public, but adhering to the principle of "complete it first and then perfect it", I still put this thing up. Next, I will most likely rewrite the previous article, adjust the main line, and polish the copy. It’s such a big project with 400,000 words, it makes me despair just thinking about it…

When most authors reach this point in their writing, they may choose to cut the book and run away, and cut their losses in time. To be honest, I have thought about it as well. But when I think about the history of blood and tears that this book has been blocked for many times, and how difficult it is for a dog to sneak around the platform and quietly touch it to survive until now, I feel that I cannot give up easily.

As we all know, the original meaning of "Rabbit Style" is "Rabbit's tail can't grow long", which means that if you can't write tens of thousands of words, you will be banned. However, this book can actually live to 400,000 words, which is expected to break the Rabbit Style's survival word count record. It's amazing to think about it. Something exciting. Moreover, this is in 2023. After twenty years, the banner of rabbit flow is being raised again. I asked - who else? (Yakamitsuki emoticon package.jpg)

(By the way, late last month, the editor actually suggested that I cut the book, and also recommended a harem novel for me to copy. I was shocked at the time, and immediately understood that the editor probably thought that my update was too wasteful. , I came up with this trick to stimulate me, so I got up and quickly finished the copy of "Double Happiness Town"/doge)

At present, I have received feedback from three aspects, and I also plan to use this single chapter to discuss it more formally.

1. Some readers reported that Zisi’s character was unpleasant, thinking that he was black for the sake of being black and that he was so bad that there was no reason.

Regarding the character design of the protagonist, we have already written it down here. There is definitely no way to change it, we can only wait for the next book (although whether there will be a next book is unknown).

If you have read the two evil books "Enemy of the People" and "Rabbit Tail", you can probably understand that the protagonist of the rabbit style is like this, the unreasonable and pure evil of "I don't eat beef". "Since I am not satisfied, let everyone be dissatisfied" is anti-human. In popular terms, it is a psychological abnormality, and in literary terms, it is "the spiritual alienation of the lost generation after they can't find a way out."

Of course, in order not to be 404ed, the blackness of this book is a little lower than that of a pure rabbit flow, so Qisi's evil can still make some excuses to deal with the river crab master. I have not written in detail about Qisi’s childhood, mainly because I was afraid that the book would sound like the main text of a female pornographic film. However, judging from the feedback, some plots really cannot be omitted. Let’s wait for the third volume, I remembered to intersperse some flashbacks...

(Don’t worry, it’s definitely not a whitewash. It’s impossible to whitewash Qisi in this book. He was born as a scumbag and deserves to be shot.)

2. Some readers want a female protagonist.

Let me explain here, it is impossible for this book to have a female protagonist. First of all, I am an old member of a bar without a female protagonist, and I am determined to benefit the bar friends; secondly, Qisi is already such a character, so don’t harm other girls; finally, I have never been in love, and I don’t understand that emotional drama is a WTF.

Let me excerpt another paragraph from the biography: "Qisi is absolutely self-interested and unwilling to divide any benefits to others. He will laugh at the weak, be hostile to those who are evenly matched with him, and at the same time be afraid of the strong. He cannot love others, nor does he trust others. Love, if someone expresses love to him, he will feel suspicious and disgusted."

3. Regarding whether Chang Xu should stay or not.

Some readers on QQ Reading gave this book a low score because Chang Xu died. Some readers on QQ Reading expressed their hope that Chang Xu would die soon. I once wanted to write him down and kill him, but I was chased and knocked down by some reader friends on QQ, which made me realize that I can't be so irresponsible. It seemed inappropriate to keep him, as he had already been pushed by his colleagues in the black bar.

Well, it’s fair to say that the character himself is quite controversial. The main reason is that my level is limited, and even now I still don’t understand what Chang Xu is all about.

I personally believe in the theory of evil nature and cannot understand why there are good people in the world. However, in order to enrich the level of this book, I wrote a series of good characters, including Yang Yundong, Liu Yuhan and Li Yao.

A one-off character who spends less pen and ink may look decent (I personally think Yang Yundong is still very wonderfully written), but when it comes to an important supporting character like Chang Xu who has appeared many times (how on earth did I lose my mind in the first place, After doing this shitty thing like not being completely dead (hey), my cognitive shortcomings were exposed.

Therefore, many friends think that Chang Xu is very contradictory, which is right, because I myself am very contradictory. I clearly believe that human nature is inherently evil, but I still insist on exploring the self-existence of "goodness". During the writing period, I also discussed the character of Chang Xu with several authors who wrote positive protagonists, but it was of no use...

But it’s all written here. According to the original outline, Chang Xu will definitely stay until the finale. I can't figure out the relationship between good and evil, so I just put it in the book and leave it to everyone to work together. If you have any ideas, please let me know. Maybe it can answer my questions.

That’s right, crowdfunding to write a book! (akimbo)

Let’s talk about volume three next.

This is a relatively dangerous volume, and it may be sanctioned by the River Crab Master at any time, in the name of "Rabbit Flow".

If I am banned, I will naturally start a new book and finish it; if I am not banned, I will finish the book according to the original outline (the plan is to write 1.2 million words) no matter what the results are.

Part of the reason why I decided to stop updating and revising the previous article for half a month was to prepare for being blocked. If this book really disappears, I hope to leave a most satisfying version on the Internet/laugh

………………

Here are some books to recommend.

1. "Necromancer Experiment Notes" by Nian Fei

In the design of the character arc, Mr. Nian Feifeng gave me a lot of help. Especially in the shaping of Chang Xu, the boss gave me a lot of theoretical support.

2. "Xuan Xia" by the stubborn Cangjie

The protagonist of this book and Qisi are two extremes. Friends who have read too much dark literature can read this book to change their views. Brother Cangjie still dares to write a pure and positive protagonist in this era. His courage is commendable/definite

3. "Strange Tales of Rules: 4016" by Cang Yuexuan

Some readers feel that Qisi is too strong and lacks a sense of immersion, so they can read this book. The protagonist of this book is an ordinary college student, with low strength and low starting point, allowing everyone to experience the purest horror atmosphere/laugh

4. "Absurd Deduction Game" by Poet of Eternal Sin

My Goddess’s book, from style, plot to characters, can probably be seamlessly connected with this book (?)

(Okay, I’m slipping away. See you on January 1st.)
