The game started as all the eyes were on the game board.

"Checkmate..." In just a few minutes one of the players won.

"Yeah... Thanks, sister Jazz, I won due to you." Ron jumped around in happiness. Jessica had won with very little effort. Father Fang looked lovingly at Jessica as he praised her, "well done, Jessica!" You were excellent. I never knew about your skills. Where did you learn them from?" Jessica turned silent before she said, "I learned them when I was abroad."

"You are good, Jessica." Mother Fang said as she stroked the hair of Jessica. Her eyes were soft and filled with love and care. "Have you had your lunch?" Mother Fang asked. "Yeah! But I am hungry now." Amy stuck her nose in their conversation but Mother Fang didn't mind. She got up and went inside the mansion not long after she walked out with some fruits.

She placed the fruit tray on the table for all to eat. Everyone enjoyed the fruit salad as Mother Fang inquired about her life.

.........

In contrast to the happy and comfy atmosphere in the Fang Mansion, the Han family's business conference room was fully dull.

Father Han was seated in the middle of the long wooden conference table. He wore a dark face. All the other people were in silence as they waited for anyone to speak. All of a sudden, Father Han heaved a sigh.

"In just a few days the Han business is collapsing... It is very heartbreaking for me to announce that the... company has gone bankrupt." The expressions of Father Han turned sad as he announced the shocking news to all. he had spent his entire life to build this business and it just got destroyed in the blink of an eye.

Slowly he got up from his chair and dragged himself to the nearby french windows. "You all can leave. I will announce the bankruptcy myself to the media." He said as he faced the world outside with tears in his eyes. As time passed all the people left the room leaving behind the man who stood as mighty mountain shedding his tears in secret.

In the main hall, all the media outlets sat down as they waited for the president to come and share the recent news.

As they saw a shadow emerge from the doorway everyone turned their faces. President Han entered the hall his eyes did not hold any feelings or emotions they were empty. He walked towards the mics and announced, "I announce that the Han business has gone bankrupt and we are closing down." Keeping the statement short he bowed and left the hall before driving away in his car.

A black car was parked on the roadside. A man in business attire leaned on the car as he looked blankly at the gauge just a few steps away from him.

His phone rang which bought him back to his senses. He looked at the contact and frowned. It was a call from his wife. He picked up and before he could say anything the person on the other end of the line started shouting at him. "How did the company go bankrupt? Did we run out of our money? What will we do? It is your fault. Now, what will we do? We have nowhere to go?"

With every single question, he felt his heart was shattered into thousands... no... millions of pieces. This woman was just cursing him not comforting him. He felt as if his soul was no more alive. He just wanted to finish it all off and go far away... somewhere, that had no pain... somewhere that he could relax. He was not angry but desperate to leave his life.
