Doug Sightings (7) - Meeting

"Apparently, those were the bandits under arrangement. Seeing as we're having an extravagant meal, I'm guessing you set your mind for tonight's prey. Of course, there must have been some aspect of payback that made me look painful in the dining room."

It is the next morning.

Zashma began to talk that way as she walked down the path of an accommodation that was still not very crowded.

Last night was the backbone of summoning guards to hand over the sinners, but Zashma was the only one present for it, so an explanation was to be given early in the morning.

"The crime of break-in robbery is heavy. The bad guys who were originally in the process of arranging it, so even if they were to die, they would be hurt so badly that they could never be evil again. You won't have the power to go back to Genos, so I think you can rest assured there."

"Right. Then we're not dissatisfied either!

On behalf of all together, Dan-Rutim responds as such.

We left Gill and the others at the Shizuku Pavilion in Lamam and traveled on foot to the synagogue of the Chamber of Commerce.

I'm not very familiar with it, but in these towns, a guy called the Chamber of Commerce seems to be partitioning the business.

There is a butcher's shop in the butcher's shop and a chamber of commerce in the inn. The constituents are representatives of the shops that do business in the town. Even the residential towns of Genos, for example, occasionally gather together as members of the Chamber of Commerce, such as Milan-Mouth and Naudis and Nair, and arrange commercially to avoid any extra firmness, friction, etc.

So it was up to us to get along with the Caron Ranch Chamber of Commerce in Doug and hope to see each other.

"As I said yesterday, the head of the Chamber of Commerce is a father named Digola, who divides up a large ranch on the south side. You're the kind of guy who's more corrupt about his gold account than his ranch, so be careful not to lose any business, okay?

"Yes, roger that."

As the thirteen of us took together and walked down the street of the lodging, we eventually saw a large stone building on our way.

It is the residence of the Count Doug family, the lord who rules this Doug.

With the exception of the ranch, there is only a tiny territory. In Dabbag, the area called Castle Town is not created, only the Count's mansion and the barracks with hundreds of soldiers seem to be surrounded by stone walls. Its soldiers patrol the territory of Doug, including the ranch, day and night, protecting the town and Karon from bandits and so on.

"Even though Genos and Banaam are the Marquis, Doubagh is the Count."

"Oh, yeah. It's rarer to be given the title of Marquis in such a peripheral land. Not to mention, it's not normal to think that a title can even be given to a lord of tiny territory like Dareim or Turan"

Speaking of which, I think Polearth said the same thing before.

"But well, the aristocracy is noble whether it be the Marquis or the Count. Being a" guardian "or something, you can also be close to that nobleman, but yes, you don't deserve to be respected. It's a choice between being stubborn or just grandeur."

"Which of these do you classify as the Lords of this Doug?

"I don't know. I don't even want to be near you with the lord of my hometown. At best, there 'll be a runaway bureaucrat waiting for you at the forthcoming meeting point."

Zashma, who was heading north toward the Lords' Hall, turns the path there on his right. The story was that the town of Dabbag was spreading radially around the Count's residence, and that the facility called the Chamber of Commerce's synagogue was built somewhat east of its centre.

I'm sure it's not that vast a town. Around ten minutes walking from the Shizuku Pavilion in Lamam, Zashma stopped "here".

It is a painting lined with buildings bigger and more splendid than the lodging.

The neighborhood was also likely to be a bungalow, but on a small scale, a small public hall.

When Zashma knocked on the door, a sword-lowering martial arts-like youth appeared.

"You're a guest from Genos, aren't you? You're already waiting."

Guided by its martial officer's youth, he progresses through the corridor.

The young man stopped his legs at the door he poked at and raised his voice out loud.

"We have brought our guests. Excuse me, sir."

It was very spacious inside and looked like a little conference room.

Horizontal tables and a number of chairs are arranged, with two figures facing this way in formation on its upper seat.

"Welcome to Doug. Take a seat of your choice."

Both were men with magnificent, western, people-like appearances.

One is plenty fat and the other thin in contrast. The one who raised his voice was the fatter one.

The fatter one is a merchant-style cloth outfit, the leaner one is a better silk outfit.

"I am Digola, president of the Chamber of Commerce, which binds the Chamber of Commerce of Caron Ranch, and this is Lord Mayros, foreign affairs officer of Doug. Guests from Genos, that's why you've worked so hard."

"Thank you for such an early morning. My name is Asta from Fa's house and I'm a forest folk who owns a shop in the Inn Town of Genos."

On behalf of all of us, I'll thank you.

Few Digolas smile lovingly, and Meyros, with a seemingly nervous eye, only stumbles around looking at us. They seemed to be two contrasting temperaments as well as appearances.

"We have heard that Giva's cuisine has gained a reputation in the Inn Town of Genos. We were very excited to hear that the owner wanted to bring business to Doug."

"It's an honor. Thank you very much for your kindness."

Bringing Giva's meat into the town of Dabbag in Caron was a story that would surely be difficult for them to gain, so it was not surprising that they had been welcomed so favourably so far.

Either way, we were seated in several rows.

As per the meeting, Me, Ai-Fa, Raina-Lou and Zashma form the front row. Meyros frowned a lot at the knife lowered eye-fa lined up there, but he didn't try to say anything when he put it out in his mouth.

"So, what the hell kind of story is that? What if you can taste the famous Giva meat in the rumors?

"Yes, we brought dried and stuffed Giva meat today"

"Hmm, intestinal stuffed meat," Digola rides himself out intriguingly.

Turning to you, I showed you the leather bag I had in my hand.

"As I told you within yesterday, I'd like to borrow your cook if you don't mind. Of course it is possible to have a look at the flavor even as it is, but I think it would be better if you compared it to what you cooked to eat, because I can tell you more."

"Yeah, at your disposal. As I told you yesterday, we're making a light meal. We can only prepare any small cook."

"Yes, that's enough"

"Well, I'll show you to the chef."

When he was gazed at Digola with a smile on his face, Meyros struck his hand silently.

Correspondingly it was the martial officers who had the same identity as the youths just now.

They only see two Digolas indoors, but they're preparing quite a few escorts. Well, I guess that's the right consideration when it comes to welcoming a bunch of people who aren't sure of their identity either.

As planned, I decided to leave the scene with four people, Ai-Fa and Raina-Lou, plus Maim, who were lined up behind me.

Ai-Fa is an escort, Raina-Lou is a cooking assistant, and Mim is just a story here, a mere spectator.

"This way."

Beyond the door was another corridor, but they never took me around. There was a door across the street as soon as we got out, and that was the entrance to the cook. Because we wanted a cook, I guess this room closest to it was chosen for the meeting.

When I came in, it was a small cook with six tatami tatami, with a work bench in the middle, two stone shavings on the wall on the right hand side, and a shelf with cookware on the reverse wall.

Choose an affordable iron pan from it and transfer plenty of water from the water bottle.

In the meantime, I decided to throw three pieces of intestinal meat removed from the leather bag, and in the meantime warm the flat pan with the other kamado while it was empty.

"Raina-Lou, it's nice to get the wood plates ready. Because Mim's share will be finished in no time."

Having already been informed of his dedication, Raina-Lou arranged seven flat plates for me on the workbench. Two of these are for mime.

"It's a really easy dish, so don't expect too much mime either, okay?

"Yes!... That said, my expectations are only heightened when it comes to Asta's Giva dishes"

Mim looked like a puppy waving his tail around my hand.

I'm not really a big cook, but I put Giva's bacon on the slab.

As dried meat is normally seen as dried meat, so was this distressing Giva Bacon, and I wanted the people of Doug to taste it.

From the blocked Giva Bacon, scrape the meat as thinly as possible with a meat cutting knife.

Then Ai-Fa, who was staring more at the martial officers who had lined up at the entrance, whispered, "Hey."

"When I smelled Gibba meat, I was getting fiercely hungry. Feed me extra meat, too."

"Yeah? Well, I've got extra meat and ingredients."

When I say that, even Rayna-Lew pulls her sleeve in disgrace.

"Um, if that's the case, would you mind giving me a taste, too? It was the first time that I didn't eat Giva for a whole day, so my heart kind of wants to eat Giva meat."

"Um, if that's the case, well... how about you, too, you know?

I also asked the watchman's martial officer, but the reply was a "cool one" word.

What impolite lawless people would it be to have a stumbling block in such a situation?

But it was me who didn't seem more important to satisfy the hearts and minds of my compatriots by the woods than such decency.

Besides, Mim was going to have a tasting from the start, so the increase in that number wouldn't change the degree of lawlessness. I hope you think I'm a poison looker.

So I decided to slice up five pieces of Giva Bacon and add two more bowel stuffed meats to be boiled.

Other ingredients are well prepared in advance so that even large numbers of people in the business can handle them. While I was warming the iron pan, I kept as many tinos as I needed pulled out of the leather bag.

Once that's done, it's Guiba Bacon.

The area is three pieces of abrasive meat, so you don't need to be particularly greasy. I still had time for the intestinal meat to boil up, so I let him throw three giva bacon in a large iron pan.

The tiny tone sounds all the time, and the fragrant scent begins to fill the cook.

That's all that made my stomach almost buzz until me, who wasn't supposed to be hungry at all.

While I hold on to that feeling all the time, I flip the bacon that makes me play patsy and greasy, and drop the kimmus eggs one at a time on top of the other.

Kimmus eggs are not significantly different in taste and nature from chicken eggs just because they are slightly smaller. Raw foods are also allowed, so I've decided to finish this place semi-ripe for my taste.

By the way, I have heard that many countries in the world where eggs are not allowed to eat raw because of hygiene. Even when making eyeball grills, it seems that it is common to burn both sides and put them through the fire firmly.

I remember in one European and American boxing movie there was a scene where raw eggs were jocked, but was that made in Japan chicken eggs?

Clear egg whites have been baked white and orange egg yolks have been baked yellow more often while they have been swept away by such thoughts.

If that's how the eggs go through the fire, it's the completion of "Giva Bacon Egg".

There is plenty of salt and pico leaves in the process of making bacon, so there is no need to taste any more. Neither would such an easy dish.

Tickle the finished dish with a wooden slab and place one on top of the wood dish at a time.

The beautifully baked eyeball grill shines brightly over the cuddly shrunken bacon.

It was actually the first time in years that I had cooked this guy because it wasn't even a dish that needed prep practice.

It looks and smells really delicious.

"Haha. Interesting looking dish, isn't it?

Laughing joyfully, Mim's eyes shine in anticipation.

Bacon alone has already been given a taste, but this should be the first dish that has been put through the fire.

"Come on, enjoy it. If it doesn't taste good enough, I think it would be delicious to hang this."

"What is this?

"Ketchup I was going to use with the intestinal meat."

This was brought in small portions of what was made in the house.

By the way, Mammalia's vinegar is made from banaam received from Wellhide.

I took it from the tiny pot, and I served it with a wooden spoon to each dish.

Cut the bacon cleverly with just a wooden skewer and a wooden spoon, each carrying 'Giva Bacon Egg' into his mouth.

The moment I mouthed that, first Mim exclaimed, "Wow."

"This soft smoked meat is definitely better to bake! Looks very compatible with Kimmus eggs!

"Don't you? As far as I'm concerned, it's Giva Bacon made on the assumption of baking. It is only through fire that the main power will be unleashed."

It is a whispering dish that uses only one slice of bacon and one egg, so quickly it was tucked away in the stomach of three people.

With those three happy expressions, it's me who gets my chest filled, not my belly.

"But because it tastes so salty and vanilla, you want not only eggs, but also fuwano dough, vegetables, etc.?

"Yeah, you didn't dare to use it in that dish because you use Tino and Poitan over the intestinal meat"

While I was exchanging those words, it seemed that the intestinal stuffed meat was also boiled up.

The smoked and fashionable surface has regained a lot of its original roundness. When I rescue him from the water and cut off the water, I will scissor him with thick Poitan dough along with a chopped tino, apply ketchup and a spice salfal when the mustard is melted with more water.

Needless to say, this was a dish that stood out for hot dogs.

A bite of that mime explodes further delight on the small side.

"It's delicious! Bowel stuffed meat also tastes better if you put it back in water! It has a very smooth toothfeel that doesn't seem like smoked meat!

"Thank you. I think you're very happy."

I made him smile back as I baked bacon for the business people.

Raina-Lou has a lukewarm face, and the expressionless Ai-Fa also has an extremely satisfying light in his eyes. It really seemed that the Ai-Fas were hungry for the taste of Giva meat.

The martial artist who was standing at the entrance to the cook in work mode is also anxious to see how this one looks with a face that seems more complicated than just now. It makes me wonder if the aromatic aroma of baked bacon inspired the appetite center, or if it moved my mind to the happy expressions of the mimes - perhaps both. That's about it, the mimes taunted my dishes like they were delicious.

"If I put this up for sale in Accommodation Town, wouldn't it have another great reputation? I think Gibba is no less delicious than Gibba!

"Yeah, but if you don't sell bacon and intestinal meat for the same price as dried meat, the greats of Genos might piss you off. When you do, you can't afford to sell it in the lodging town at all."

That's why I wanted to find out if these ingredients were merchandise or possible in other towns.

Few other towns would wear so much copper coin on dried meat as portable food. But if it also has a delicious taste that can be beaten by raw fresh meat, it could be treated as a luxury ingredient.

Both bacon and intestinal meat are difficult to produce in large quantities, so if we could deal with some of the favourites, that would have been enough.

So, the big fate of the trading partners are the Wellhides of Banaam, who at the moment are giving us a favorable view of Giva meat, but they are willing to make sure from now on of what kind of appreciation they can get from the authoritative Doug people of meat.

(And after all, we're selling Giva meat and food because we're going to be commercial enemies for Doug. I just want to keep it through my muscles so I don't leave any remorse)

While I was thinking about that, I also baked 'Giva Bacon Eggs' for the Digolas.

Rayna-Lew, the free hand, is lumping me with hot dogs at best.

Still more dried meat, bacon and intestinal stuffed meat that remained vegan were also served on another wooden dish, ready to go out.

"Thank you for waiting. It's done."

The martial officer nods and opens the door.

Towards our last job in Doug, we went back to Digola's waiting room with Giva dishes in our hands.
