Jane's Love

I must have fallen asleep because I was nudged gently.

"Jane how did you get involved in this mess with that guy, what's that is name again? hmm...

"Alex, mom"

Alex..?

"Jane I need you to explain to me what happened before your dad gets here."

I turned my heard and sighted my dad taking with the DPO

"Mom do you remember that guy I do you about, the one who saved me when I almost died while swimming?.....

"Yes, Jane ". Mom replied confuse

"Well... we kind of became more than friends, but mom I didn't know he was a criminal" I said almost sounding like a whisper too tired of crying.

"I believe you sweetie and you don't have to cry i'm sure your dad is already sorting this out, very soon we will leave".

"Thanks, mom".i said wishing she know half of the reasons for my tears

Dad walked up to us " we can go now, Jane they believe your story, but that guy John or Alex seems to be a pretty good liar too. They have been looking for him for a long time now and the court had sentenced him to dead by hanging since two years now. they are going to execute him tomorrow.

Alex lied about his name, his real name was John

AT HOME

"Jane are you sure you're alright?"

Yes mom, why did you ask?

"It's just that you look pale as paper, are you sure we shouldn't send for the doctor?" Mom asked anxiously

No mom, I'm alright.

Okay go in and take your bath, it has been a long day.

"Thanks mom." I said Walking towards my room then all at a sudden i started feeling hot and dizzy, it seems like my breath left me and hubbub of mom and the cook faded away as I crumpled to the ground.

Kate turned and stared at her daughter popeyed, then burst into a wail

Jane!!

"Jane... What's wrong with you" she received no response immediately she got scared and shout

" Leonard I don't know what's wrong with your daughter no!.

Leonard open the door and pop his head, the first person he saw was his wife sitting on the floor, her face filled with tears, then his daughter. He quickly ran to them asking Kate what happened but she couldn't stop crying so he carried Jane outside and into the car and drove her to a nearby hospital.
