He also decided to release the Zygarde core on his private island where it can be safe and if it wants to leave, no one will stop it, as a pokemon that is tasked with keeping the world safe and being its guardian, Julian doesn't want to force it to stay with him.

The Zygarde core also didn't want to stay with Julian either, though it was thankful to Julian for protecting it, it has a bigger task to fulfill, so letting it go was the best choice.

With him running late, Julian didn't waste any second and left his home before locking it, but before he left he visited Professor Oak as he learned that Professor Oak's cousin lives there and Professor Oak has something to hand over to his cousin.
