Journey Towards Greatness

The Cipher leader wanted to run away, but the fear he felt from Gengar made him freeze in his spot.

Gengar slowly approached the man with his hands extended and grabbed his head while letting out his vicious laugh. The man screamed in horror as Gengar began to extract all the information that Julian needs.

Julian ignored the screams of the man and walked towards the energy cage that has the Totem Butterfree entrapped in it

Julian looked around the energy cage and tried to figure out how to release the Butterfree trapped inside it. He then looked back at Gengar to see if he was done with extracting the man's memory, but seeing that Gengar was still busy, Julian decided to break the cage open.

Julian took out the electric baton that he used to destroy team Cipher and swung it down on one of the cubes at the end of the energy cage. Julian used all his strength, and it was enough to break a rock.

The baton contacted the energy cube and shattered it in an instant. The energy cage that surrounded Butterfree also disappeared, freeing the giant pokemon.

The Butterfree is thankful to Julian, but it is still wary of him as it doesn't know what Julian wants. Seeing that Julian has no intention of attacking it, the Totem Butterfree diverted its attention to the other Pokemons that have also been captured here.

It then used Air Slash and sent multiple blades made of air at the other small cages and freed the Butterfrees, Metapods, and Caterpie trapped in them.

As soon as these pokemons were freed from their cages, some of them made a run from their life and escaped to the outside, while others rushed towards the Totem Butterfree, thinking it was best to stay under its protection.

Julian just watched from the sidelines and let the Totem Butterfree take control over the distressed pokemons.

Julian then turned around to look at Gengar and saw that he was done with extracting the memories from the man and now the man is lying on the ground like a lifeless corpse.

This man is not dead, but he has definitely suffered a great deal of mental damage that he might never recover from. At worst, he might become an idiot and if he is lucky, he will become a moron.

(A/N- Idiot is someone with an IQ below 25, moron is between 51 to 70, right in between comes imbecile with an IQ between 25 to 50)

Julian "Share, everything you collected with me"

Julian said and connected his mind with Gengar and started looking through everything he got from the group leader.

As he went through these memories, he couldn't help but sigh in disappointment. The information he got was decent, but it was not enough. These people are here to catch the Totem Pokemons and ship them out of Alola, but before they could do it, Julian arrived and stopped them.

He also confirmed that Cipher's headquarters is in Orre Region, but the biggest information he got from the group leader is that everyone answers to nine people in Cipher who seem to be the admins of this organization.

As for who the leader is, this man has no idea. The leader of Cipher seems to be a mysterious person pulling strings while the nine people run everything under this mysterious leader's will.

This information troubled Julian. Nine admins are a lot. Though he can take them all at once, there is a high chance that some of them can escape his grasp.

If he wants to take down Cipher, he needs to take everyone out, as the things they are doing are very cruel. Even the past organization that Julian has dealt with hasn't done anything like this.

Compared to Cipher, Team Rocket feels like a local gang of mischiefs.

Now that he knows where to find Cipher, Julian plans to visit the Orre region and take care of things there, but before that, he needs to get rid of every Cipher member that is on the Alola islands and also put an end to their ideas about turning Totem Pokemons into their weapons.

He has to make sure that Cipher completely abandons the idea of taking over Alola.

There was not much important stuff left in the group leader's memory. He is just a mid-level member in Cipher and he doesn't even know what the admins look like. So if Julian wants to stop Cipher, he needs to find someone who is a very high-ranking member of the organization.

For now, Julian can't do anything but wait. From the information he got, the members who are tasked to receive the Totem Butterfree should arrive in a week and Julian will be ready for them.

Julian hopes he gets hold of a high-ranking member during the process.

So for now, he put the topic of Cipher aside and walked up to the unconscious group leader, and checked his item bag to take out the z-crystal that he had taken from the Totem Butterfree's lair.

Julian took out the light green z-crystal, which has a natural shine to it and checked out the marking embedded inside it. The marking inside looks like a bug.

Julian wondered how these markings formed and who designed them. Is it the will of the universe or something else?

Though Julian has been in this world for quite a while now, the things that happen here are still mysterious as when he experienced it for the first time.

He also wondered what was out there, out of this world and into the infinite universe of the pokemon universe.
