Journey Towards Greatness

Julian has no idea that him bringing Gyarados here has started a war for supremacy between his Gyarados and the four sea kings of Alola.

Julian is just enjoying his time in his hotel room with Jenny. Officer Jenny came to visit him and it turned into a very long exercise session between them, which left Jenny completely exhausted.

It's nighttime, and it looks like Jenny will be sleeping in. Julian got off his bed and checked his computer to get an update on the Cipher team that is about to arrive here on Melemele island.

Julian 'It looks like it will take them three days'

Julian spoke to himself and closed his laptop, and joined Jenny back on the bed, continuing with their rigorous activity.

The next morning Julian woke up and found Jenny still sleeping. The last night's session helped Julian release a lot of stress, which led to Jenny being completely exhausted.

Julian knew Jenny will need some more sleep so he let her sleep, before getting ready for school. Another day where he had nothing to do other than teach children, but he didn't mind it. At least he has something to do today.

Arriving at the school was the same as always, with children running around and playing with each other along with their pokemon.

Julian walked past these children and walked towards his class. As he entered his class, he was surprised by what he saw.

He saw Lillie holding Snowy in her hands.

Julian "Lillie, it looks like you overcame your fear of pokemons, I am very surprised you did it so quickly"

Julian said as he didn't expect Lillie to overcome her fear of pokemons in just one day.

Lillie "No, it's just Lillie, but it's fine for now. A day will come when I will be able to touch all pokemons"

Lillie said with a smile on her face.

Lillie then went on and explained how she was able to touch Snowy, and it, of course, involved Team Rocket. Their involvement helped Lillie bring up her courage and interact with Snowy.

It finally made sense to Julian. Lillie's love for Snowy is much greater than her fear of pokemons. But now that she is able to hold Snowy, it won't be long before she is able to touch all kinds of pokemon.

Julian then went on and continued with his class while his students listened carefully.

After a long day of work, Julian made his way back to his hotel room to find it empty. Jenny must have woken up and gone to work.

He would have liked it if she stayed, but he knows she has very important work to do. She is, after all, a police officer.

Julian then looked at the sun setting over the sea and wondered how Gyarados is doing.

Julian "I just hope the locals don't get scared because of him"

Julian said to himself.

It's about to get dark soon, and a certain pokemon is waiting at the border of Melemele island waiting for a few other pokemons.

His eyes soon caught the glimpse of the first pokemon, Samurott swam towards him at full speed and stopped right in front of him.

Kingdra [You are here]

Samurott [Where are the others?]

He asked.

Kingdra [You are the first one to arrive.]

Samurott nodded his head and moved to the side and watched the borders along with Kingdra. Soon the next pokemon arrived as well.

Golisopod made his way toward the two and greeted them, this was an awkward situation because they are not friends and they know that as soon as they are done with the crises, they will go back to being sworn enemies, so all these greetings and talking with each other was weird for them.

The three of them then stood there silently waiting for the fourth member to arrive and Wailord's arrival was noticed from a mile away, as he is very big.

The four of them stared at each other before Wailord spoke up.

Wailord [So where is this Gyarados?]

Kingdra [He is still hanging around my den]

Wailord [Lead the way then]

Kingdra nodded and took the lead as the rest followed him.

After a few minutes, Kingdra stopped swimming, and the rest did the same as well.

Golisopod [Where is it?]

Golisopod asked, while looking around.

Kingdra [A kilometer away from here is where he is resting. If we go any further like this, he will spot us. It's best if we split up. Wailord approach from the sound as he won't be able to see you coming from there. The others should have no problem.]

Kingdra took the lead as he knows these terrains better than anyone.

The four quickly separated and surrounded the area where Gyarados is resting right now, the four slowly approached Gyarados and when they got close enough to see him, the size of Gyarados shocked Golisopod, Samurott, and Wailord.

Wailord 'He was not kidding when he said it's over 15 meters'

Wailord thought

Golisopod 'Look at the size of that thing. Should I run away or should I fight?'

Golisopod questioned as he got intimidated by Gyarados' size. Though he is strong, he is not stupid enough to fight this thing.

Golisopod 'But if I don't fight, this Gyarados will come after my territory. I have to do this.]

Samurott 'Glad we decided to team up. With the four of us, we should be able to overwhelm it and chase it away, maybe even kill it and feed on it'

Samurott thought.

Kingdra 'I have a really bad feeling about this but I have to do this. I worked very hard to become a king. I am not going to give up so easily.'

Kingdra thought and glared daggers at Gyarados.
