Kael Cor: A Vampire's Awakening

Sweltering heat was synonymous with the word hell, you would envision a land of blazing inferno, torment and despair. But the first thing that came to my face was desolation and emptiness. The portal opened up into a cavern, however the legendary flames of hell was nowhere to be seen. The cavern opened up into a narrow chute that told me I was probably at the bottoms of a volcano. The portal was placed on top of a platform or rather on top of an altar that opened up into a wide field of blew bleached white bones, and pillars of shadow flames still flickering after God knows how long. But as my companions cake through I noticed that said pillars were pretty much similar to weaving I had preformed to keep Ethernalia Leonis safe, they supported a massive shield that kept other demons from interfering with what was going on at the bottom of the volcano; from interfering with the portal.

" Wow that's one messed up sight… not what I expected us to come up into." Joshua said as he showed up behind me, only for Kodak and Teluna to share a look before the latter added.

"That's Teluna's handwork alright, the bastard knew we were definitely going to come after him, in fact I dare say the bastard was waiting for us. Time in the hell realms are pretty much as eccentric as you would expect the Joker to be, which based on the stories you told us about him your majesties; is saying something. To predict our actions to such a level I'm afraid there is probably no one except the grand prince Michael and dragon Prince Max who can match up to his intellect." Kodak said, prompting a surprised look from both me and Joshua as we turned to him.

"You're saying our kids are smart enough to contend with Gus..... Gus! The guy that's know as the king of shadows, secrets and silence. Our kids?" Joshua asked Kodak, and he was doing so for both of us, because while I knew that Max and Mike had a camaraderie that trumped that which their fathers; I and Joshua shared, I never knew they had the intellect to back up their friendship. And with how powerful those boys were showing up to be, with minds like Gus's or perhaps even better with a little more time and growth, they could shape up to be the greatest heroes Ethernalia Leonis and Spero would ever see, or perhaps even the greatest villains. Which honestly is what the new era needs them to become, the time of heroes are long passed after the levels the dark gods have pushed us. We're all monsters now, and I can't help but predict painfully that our own kids would follow in our footsteps.

"Lets' not talk too much, we literally have hordes of demons above us trying their best to break through that bloody shield. Teluna, while Gus is good at secrets and Kodak is good at leading and breaking shit up, you're very good at finding things. Sweep the area bring anything not normal to light and find a way to break past that horde. For some reason Gus's pillars of shadows are holding strong and don't seem like they would be breached any time soon. Find us an alternative route or perhaps a message from your foolhardy best friend and let's been done with this place, I'm it hung to see what hell had in store for us." I said to Teluna as I got off Soren's back and decided to take a cursory look at my stat Page, there were gain there I haven't paid attention too, especially since… since the loss of Asha.

I had to admit I was pretty much filled with spite at Dracula, after what his jealousy and psychotic breakdown took from me, I wanted to take something from him too. And it would be the one thing that had motivated him into fuċkɨnġ with me and my family in the first place. Perhaps. It wasn't wise power wise, perhaps it would be better for me to shore up my abilities and defenses, building on what I currently had rather than what I could possibly gain, but I wanted him to lay, and by Vid he WILL!

Well all that was now left was to wait, sure we came here with the intention to burn everything demon like or dark god like in our path, but that did not mean we would be stupid about it. Teluna had quite the peculiar perception and attention to detail, if there was anything we were missing I know he would be able to find it.. But until then, we would wait, watching the demons as they laid siege to the shield Gus had left behind, protecting us from them and ironically enough… protecting them from us.
