{IMPERIAL WING, ROYAL PALACE, FORTIS EMPIRE}

Alexander watched the rising sun and took a deep breath to calm his nerves. The danger of invasion of beings residing in the void was not completely neutralized. That's why he had shifted the land without disturbing the layout of the formations so that not a single living being was present within 100 miles of the formations to be activated. The chaos entities needed a medium to enact their will upon the material world; be it be some artifact or a living being. Livings beings were the most preferred commodity for possession. He had even pulled the force away form that area so that it doesn't get corrupted. Corruption of the life force of his kingdom would be disastrous for him and his subjects.

Alexander let out a sigh and shifted to the most secured bunker of his kingdom. He was persuaded by his Department Heads and close friends to take refuge in the bunker during the course of operation. He was not happy but he acknowledged that he was the weakest link in case of invasion; anything happening to him would doom the entire kingdom. Alexander thought while balling his fists, " I will have to wait till my kingdom advances to the next grade. After that, I will be not be helpless like this anymore."

Alexander observed the bunker and found that it was the exact copy of his bedroom. To the right side, a massive pantry was built which held all the rations. He sat down inside a white circle and transferred his qi to the floor and watched as golden symbols started appearing all over the room from floor to roof. Soon, the whole room was bathed in golden light Alexander looked up at the security camera fixed in the corner of the bunker and said, " You can start now." The camera in the room short-circuited and got reduced to dust. Alexander closed his eyes went into deep meditation in order to observe the proceedings of the upcoming operation.

{CENTRAL CONTROL ROOM FOR DEFENSE AND ASSUALT, UNDISCLOSED LOCATION, FORTIS EMPIRE }

Jonathan observed the figure of Alexander on the screen and upon hearing his command, launched the sequence for the destruction of the security camera. He spoke, " We will activate the formations according to the previously planned sequence in an hour. Begin the preparations."

All over the kingdom in the recently made barren lands, the elves shifted in and placed Divine Class spirit stones at the marked points shown on their tablets. In fifteen minutes, all the formations were slotted with the stones and were ready to be activated. Jonathan, " Activate the Defense measures for the moon."

A nearby operator, " Activating The Anti-Seize Wards and formations placed on Moon. Activating in 5..4...3...2...1...0. The defenses are online now and are running at full capacity. There is no energy leakage. Over and Out."

Jonathan, " Evacuate the civilians of our Kingdom."

Another operator, " Inputing Destination of Evacuation: Emergency Shelters beneath Moon's Surface.....Activating the inbuilt portkeys in the ID Bands of our citizens. Teleportation in 5..4..3..2..1...0....Done. Activating the knockout wards to put the civilians to sleep.....Evacuation Complete. Over and Out."

Another operator, " Sir!!! The enquiry office is flooded with requests by soldiers to know what has happened to our fellow people. Some people have already gathered in front of the government offices."

Jonathan, " Send the information packet to them. Also send the public relations officers with some military support to quell the situation. We will start after these people have taken their respective positions."

It took half an hour to quell and make the soldiers go to their appointed posts. Jonathan spoke up, " Show me the holographic presentation of our planet." A giant green planet appeared on the screen. The planet had hundreds of millions of blue dots littered across it's massive surface. The blue dots were the cities of the kingdom housing over 900 quadtrillion people.

Jonathan, "Show me the formations and our soldiers." The hologram lit up with concentrated green dots and silver lines and circles criss crossing across the surface.

Jonathan, " Proceed as instructed."

A nearby officer let out a breath and spoke up in the nearby comm, "This is Officer Hudson. Activate the Pole Grid-674." After a few seconds, several silver circles among thousands present on the northern and southern poles of the planet lit up in golden light.

Jonathan, " Show me the energy readings of the area." A chart appeared upon the screen and started showing the increasing energy levels of the area.

Jonathan, " Don't worry we will increase the area of containment. Activate the containment and conversion formations present around the poles. Send the elves in the other grids to remove the spirit stones from all the extracting formations. We will use only a single extracting formation on each pole to power the operation. We will stop when we reach 60 percent of the capacity."

Officer Hudson, " Sir!! We should destroy the other extracting formations. If some invading entity uses those to open wormholes to the chaos dimension, we will be doomed."

Jonathan nodded and said, " There is no need to destroy them. We have made movable formation disks so we will just move the disks and store them in the ȧssigned location. We will move the disks after the spirit stones are removed. The nearby soldiers will ȧssist in removing of the spirit stones and the elves will transport the disks. Make the elves aware of the change of plans."

It took five minutes to remove all the spirit stones. Then, the elves started moving the formation disks to some place. The gradual decrease of silver circles and lines highlighted the progress of the operation. After half an hour, only the poles had the formations activated.

Jonathan, " What is percentage of energy concentration?"

A nearby operator, " 48 percent and increasing , Sir!!"

Jonathan, " His Majesty advised against opening of the wormholes for too long. It has been open for 35 minutes. Maximum time limit is an hour. To be on safe side, we will slowly close them in five minutes. Start the procedure. Broadcast the visual also."

After five minutes, a nearby operator spoke up," The high influx of energy is interfering with the closing of wormhole, Sir!! As per Emergency Protocol - 003, I am deploying the additional spirit stones to supply the required energy. Estimated Consumption is 8; one to open and 7 to close. Over and out."

The hologram shifted and divided into two portions to show the visual of the poles. At the center of both poles, a spatial tear could be seen above a glowing golden circle. The spatial tear was slowly decreasing in size and some resistance could be seen. Everyone in the room tensed and prepared themselves for the worst possible outcome. Thankfully, the wormhole closed after ten minutes.

Officer Hudson consulted the energy readings and said, " The wormhole remained opened for 50 minutes, Sir!! The energy concentration is at 65 percent. The rate of conversion is 1 percent per ten minutes. We will obtain billions of joules of magical energy in approximately twelve hours, Sir!!"

Jonathan, " Good Work, everyone!!! But we cannot rest easy now. We need to make sure that nothing slipped inside during the time the wormhole was open. His Majesty has not contacted me about any intrusion but we will check the whole place by ourselves. His Majesty himself has acknowledged that there are many beings who can hide from his senses. Relay my orders, the nearest battalions will comb through both the poles. As for the further use of formations to extract the chaos energy, that will have to wait. We need better strategy and preparations to safely exploit the chaos dimension. I am going to meet His Majesty. Contact me if something happens." He then walked out of the control room.

Officer Hudson, " You heard his orders. Let get to work!!!"
