As they were struck to their places, they heard Girdhar's voice coming from the connector, " What is happening there? Send men to their coordinates to check on the situation!!!"

The old emperor let out a sad sigh, " It will be of no use as they are already captured. They will kill them if we take aggressive approach. Prepare yourself, we are going to talk with their leader, the man called Alexander Fortis. We have to be very tactful here." Everyone was able to heard the conversation between the old emperor and the Royal Magus.

The apparent leader came forward and said, " Friends from East!!! Our leader wants to talk with you. It's a personal request of mine that you talk with him as your talk can save the 81 lives."

The old emperor, " We will talk with him. Just don't harm our people." Charles Jackson who was the leader of this group, inwardly thought, " I have heard that that the previously captured magus were given to the sadists for experiment on. Sorry, old man but your people are undergoing some serious torture back at the mainland " Charles contacted his superiors and was ordered to leave with the captives. Charles turned towards the connector, " He will arrive in few minutes."

Girdhar, " Let us talk with our men."

Charles, " Sorry, but they are being transported to their new accomodations so you can't talk with them right now." Charles then signalled his men to hurry up. After 5 minutes, Alexander along with the original hundred magus appeared in the campsite. Alexander looked towards Charles and said, " You are going back to the boot camp."

Charles said in panicked tone, " Why, your majesty?"

Alexander, " What's the first rule of engagement?"

Charles, " Never talk with the enemy unless it is with the purpose of buying time for the reinforcements to arrive."

Alexander, " And, what did you do? You announced your presence to the enemies before attacking them while I don't even tell them about myself even after attacking them. That's why you are going back to the boot camp. You were also slow in transporting them so your men will also earn a stay in the boot camp." Charles earned glares from his subordinates. Alexander turned towards Li and said, " Sort these fellows out."

Alexander then sat before the connector and spoke up, " Anyone there?"

Girdhar, " We are listening to you."

Alexander, " Let me introduce myself, I am Alexander Fortis and I am the leader of a small resistance group here in Europe."

A relatively young voice said in an angry tone, " Stop, playing your games and tell us your demands."

The old emperor, " Aryan!!! Calm down. He is just messing with you. Tell us Alexander Fortis, what do you want?"

Alexander said, " I want your submission."

Alexander could heard the angry shouts of the people on the other side. The old emperor brought everyone to order and said, " What do you have up your sleeves that you sound so confident that we would submit?"

Alexander, " First of all, I have more magus than you under me and the most important thing is that I have the key." Alexander could hear the shouts of shock and disbelief from the connector. The old emperor asked in a hard voice, " What prove do you have?"

Alexander, " I can swear a magical oath in front of your men. You have the coordinates of this place, send someone you trust completely with those nifty little device of yours and then, see it for yourself. Don't send someone to attack me as I have set the key to activate in one hour at a secret place so even if I die, you and your people will also die with me."

The old emperor let out a sigh, " I will send our Royal Magus, Girdhar Surya but what ȧssurance will I have that you will not harm him?"

Alexander, " You are not in a place to demand ȧssurances. You will just have to trust me."

The old emperor let out a mocking laugh, " Trust You!!! I am old but not mad. I want to see if the key will activate in one hour or not."

Alexander, " Are the people living in your empire and their children are ready to die also? Don't be selfish and arrogant, think about them also."

The old emperor let out a defeated sigh, " You are not like the other dark lords of the west. You are quite cunning."

Alexander let out a tired sigh, " I don't understand why people call me a dark lord. I have done nothing of that sort. I am simply an emperor of a small magical empire."

The old emperor said in a disbelieving tone, " You are an emperor!!! I don't know of any magical empire in the west."

Alexander, " My empire is just one year old but I can ȧssure you that we are more powerful than you."

The old emperor, " Let's quit this small talk. We will decide the place of our meeting. The meeting will take place in 15 minutes. Do you agree?"

Alexander, " I agree but I will be bringing some of my men with me but if I don't return back then the key will activate."

The old emperor, " Ok!!! I will tell you the place of meeting." The connector fell silent after that. Carter came up to Alexander and bowed, " Your majesty, it is very dangerous to meet them like this."

Alexander, " I have a plan."

Alexander ordered 1,000 magus to prepare for battle. After 5 minutes, a set of coordinates were related to him by the old emperor. The location of meeting was a little island under Andoman and Nicobar Island chain. Alexander and his men shifted to the nearest completely non magical island they could find and Alexander claimed it as a part of his kingdom. Alexander was not foolish and arrogant enough to go to the meeting point regardless of how much power he or his men had. Alexander spoke up, " Carter!!! Send men to scout the neighbouring islands, if no magi is present there then I would conquer them also." Alexander by the time of starting of the meeting was able to conquer only four more islands. The connector activated and the old emperor was heard, " Where are you? We have arrived." Alexander ordered Carter to send up the flare.

Alexander, " You see the red flare going up in the sky. That is our location. Come here if you want to talk face to face or we can just talk through the connector."

Girdhar, " That place is not the one specified by us "

Alexander, " I think you don't fully realise your position here. I am the one who holds all the cards so you should come to me."

The old emperor cut in, " We are coming. Give us a few minutes as we are using muggle means of transportation."

Alexander knew that they were stalling for time but he didn't care about that. He continued to claim more islands for his kingdom.

ON A HIDDEN ISLAND NEAR ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS:

The old emperor turned off the connector and turned to look at his people. The old emperor was a tall and buff man. He had dark brown eyes and had a aura of authority around him. His eyes shined with gentleness as he looked at his people, " I will go alone."

His declaration earned vehement cries of refusal and resistance. One fellow, even proclaimed to give up his life if he even set one foot outside the island alone, in order to meet Alexander Fortis. The old emperor turned to look at that man and said, " There is no need to give up your life, Child. I am just going to meet him." The fellow still seemed determined to give up his life. The old man let out a sigh of defeat and said, " I will take you with me." The fellow just nodded and quitely sat down. The old emperor knew that fellow. His name was Rudra and he was son of the old emperor's most loyal officers. He was named after the old emperor himself. As the old emperor was planning on how to ditch them and go on alone to meet Alexander Fortis, a middle aged man stepped forward and said, " I know you are planning to ditch us, Father. I will not allow you to do so. Men, put up the wards and don't allow him to Lea your sights. As I am your king, it is my duty to go and meet that man."

Now, the old emperor protested this. This was going back and forth, when someone heard a voice calling them. They turned to look and saw a young lady was standing on a boat. Everyone paled in shock on seeing her as she was not supposed to be here at all. The king stepped forward and said in an anxious voice, " ISHA!!! What are you doing here? Where are you going?"

The princess of magical empire replied, " Since you all were just wasting time. I decided to meet him myself. I am the princess so I have some duities to my people. I am going to kill him or die trying and if any of you tried to send me back then I will kill myself."

The old emperor muttered, " Why everyone today is so adamant on killing themselves?"

Girdhar let out a soft smile, " Because we all are a family and nobody wants to see anyone getting hurt. We have lost many of our people but these tough times have brought us all together."

The old emperor nodded in agreement and said, " We will all go to meet him." The magi present cheered and stepped on the boat. The old emperor looked towards the ocean and thought, " I Rudra Surya, will not let anyone of you get hurt." The old emperor had places the portkey charm on every person coming with him and planned to send them back at the first sign of fatal danger.

Alexander watched as a non magical streamer came near the island. He could sense that there were 110 magus on that boat. Alexander watched as they stepped on the island and turned to look towards him and his men. Alexander had stationed only 100 magus with him. A old man walked in front and said, " We are here, Alexander Fortis. Now, deactivate the key. We swear on our magic that no one on our side would harm you in any form." Alexander watched as all the 110 magus took the oath Alexander noticed that the old emperor did not include the Chinese clans in his oath so he was wary of any trap. Alexander ordered 1,000 more magus to report to this place.

Alexander conjured two simple chairs and said, " Let's sit down and talk, Old Emperor."

The old emperor sat down in front of him, " Now, can you deactivate the key?"

Alexander, " I had never activated it in the first place. I can swear a magical oath for this."

The old emperor exclaimed, " Swear it.!!!" Alexander smiled and swear the oath.

The old emperor let out a sigh of relief and Alexander could also see the reliefs on the faces of the people from the empire. The old emperor asked, " Then, why did you do all this?"

Alexander, " To meet you "

The old emperor said in an angry tone, " You had hundreds of people killed just because you wanted to meet me."

Alexander, " No, those people were killed in order to demonstrate the power of my empire to you so that you take us seriously. You have been the top force of the magical world for thousands of years, you have that arrogance of being the top dog ingrained in you."

The old emperor, " That's your thinking. We never behaved arrogantly."

Alexander let out a laugh and said, " You remained in seclusion advancing yourself quitely while the rest of the magical world became weaker. I am not asking you to help them as it would not be a justice to you but you could have released the cure for the various magical diseases plaguing the western countries. Even if they didn't have the ingredients to brew the medicines, they could have found the alternatives. You could have helped the muggleborns by taking them in and it would have increased the population and genetic pool of your country."

The old emperor let out a sigh and said, " You are right but our ancestors had swore a bloodline oath due to some incident in the past to not to help the outsiders." Alexander didn't use his ability as he didn't have any interest to see any family drama.

The old emperor continued, " What do you want from us?"

Alexander, " You and the Chinese clans are the only one left who have not joined my empire. I am going to unite this world both muggle and magical in one singular entity."

The old emperor, " Are you mad? The muggles will start a war with us."

Alexander, " I have already conquered the muggle world. You know muggles can also sign the magical contracts. A little compelltion charm and every muggle in the western and some eastern countries had signed this contract." Alexander forwarded the contract that he had prepared for this occasion. The old emperor read the contract and said, " Swear on your magic that nothing is hidden in this contract by any means." Alexander sweared as the first clause stated that the king is the supreme authority of the land and nothing can bind him. The old emperor had not paid attention to this as Alexander had pressured the old man subconsciously to sign the contract. As the old emperor signed the contract, Alexander felt 200 million magicals add as his subjects. Under the old rules, an emperor remains in power till his death. This magical empire was also like this.The current emperor was just working on his father's behalf and was not the real emperor.

Alexander let out a smile as the conquest of this world was nearly complete. Alexander transferred the general knowledge to the people present and watched as their loyalty shifted to him. The old emperor bowed and said, " Your majesty, I can easily convince the Chinese to submit to you."

Alexander let the old man do his work and started the conquest of the remaining non magical areas.
