I'm not gonna lose!
Hahaha!
On a sunny afternoon, the queen and Mr. Cruz were racing each other. Cruz was running and the Queen was pulling a wolf cart. Of course, I used an auxiliary magic to make the wolf car lighter. Otherwise, even the queen couldn't beat Cruz-kun.
The reason why we're competing is because we're heading to the bear peddler's village. It's not a reason to run, but it's because Cruz was bored, and we're running now through a roadless grassland off the road.
I thought the wolf car would break if the queen really ran, but it was a trick that was made possible because the wood of the dragon forest was stronger than I had imagined, in addition to being strengthened with magic.
''Here, Cruz, run hard!
Hang in there, baby.
Good luck...
The cheers of my sisters fly from the wolf car.
This trip consists of the usual four people plus Sakuya-chan, the grandfather, the bear peddler, the queen and Pi-chan, and a new squire. The others are staying at the port town.
Yesterday they discussed it over crabs, but they were told that the merchant guild would still take some time.
Also, two of the cat tribe members are also sick and I'm a little nervous about taking them on the trip. In that case, how about we take a small group of people to a bear peddler's village and return? I suggested that we go to the port. At first, everyone was against it, but considering the waiting time in the port city, etc., I managed to get them to approve it.
'd*mn, I couldn't win.'
Before I knew it, the competition between Queen and Cruz-kun ended with Queen winning. It's a wolf car we rode in, and yet we can win....Queen, you're a horrible kid.
After the competition, we take a rest and leave. For some reason, Cruz-kun is the one who pulls the wolf car. Whatever it is, it's a punishment for losing.
'Ooooh!'
Even though it's lightened by magic, Cruz-kun is still getting stronger when he pulls the wolf car and runs. I've been watching the old man occasionally release his magic to make the wolf wagon heavier and train Cruz-kun.
This time because of the small number of people, we are running close to the shortest distance instead of the street. Therefore, I was expecting to be able to hunt along the way, but since all we encountered were rabbits and birds, Pee-chan and his new bird servant, the she-cat, found and defeated them early and had no way to get out of the car.
This she-cat is a seabird that used to fly in the ocean in large numbers, but it is a bird demon that I made into a servant to use as a messenger pigeon since it was going to act away from us.
I thought it would be easy to catch them because there were so many of them, but it was harder than I expected to catch them. The reason is that this she-cat was on a high level. Because of that, we had a hard time with the few ways to counter the monsters that were just flying around.
And now, just because we have a good rival, Pee-chan is hunting with the she-cat. The she-cat may not look very aggressive, but with its high level and experience, it was good enough to fight with Pi-chan.
When I was wondering why this she-cat was so high, I noticed something and found out the reason. That was that two of the cat people had improved their levels. They are small, so naturally they were only one or two levels, but when I was helping them boil crabs, before I knew it, their levels had risen.
Even though it is a crab, it is a rock crab monster, so if you defeat it, you will naturally gain experience, but I didn't expect the act of boiling the crab to be part of the attack.
If there are animals and plants in the forest and birds in the sky as monsters, it's not surprising that there are fish monsters in the ocean (river) as well. In fact, I can nod to the high level of the fishermen. The first time I met a fisherman, the way he held a harpoon was very impressive.
I examined the fishes caught by the fishermen and found that there were still a few that had a monster core. I asked the fishermen for permission to dismantle and process them, but they were smaller than the goblins, so maybe they didn't know they were monsters either.
The mystery of the Sea Cat's level is now known, and I've asked my group of housekeepers to help me out as much as they can, and to train me up enough to withstand the trip. I'd be happy if they managed to get to 10th level....
