Konrad's Adventures In The Multiverse.

Chapter 64 - Three weeks and out?

It was a tunnel of light.

Konrad saw his destination and he knew that he had to do his utmost to reach it. He realized that his body, that formerly he had no control over, could finally move as he wished. He didn't know where it happened being to focused on learning to control spiritual energies.

Konrad left behind his sibling that seemed to slowly move in the same direction and reached to the light. he ignored the pain of being squeezed and the feeling of something grabbing him and for the first time in his second life Konrad took an actual breath of air. The feeling was somehow exhilarating. As if he took a concentrated doze of oxygen he started giggling happily.

The People around him looked at the newborn baby that actually started giggling just after being born and everyone sighed in relief that it was born safely yet still were very surprised with a baby that laughed when being born.

"Congratulations Miss, Its a healthy and clearly very cheerful boy!" Said a woman in a somehow clergy looking robe that was holding Konrad.

"The..there's one m-more right?" Asked the mother through closed teeth clearly still in pain.

"Yes, Just a little more please, I can see the head!"Said the woman while handing the child over to a man standing beside them.

Konrad was slowly waking from the experience of his first breath and realized that he was being held by a man with with a bald head but no arrows, clearly indicating, that he was not a master. He's probably my dad' Konrad thought 'Not hard to guess why Aang never knew his parents. If they were not even Masters in their art, he wouldn't met them in any Air Temple and none of the masters knowing Konrad's identity would want him to be distracted by things like this. Konrad decided that he would try to not get to attached to them.

As Konrad was thinking this things through, His mother finally gave birth to the second child.

"Congratulations again! This time it's a girl! And she's also very healthy!" The woman said to Konrad's parents. He looked over at the little newborn girl in the hands of his mother and Thought that she's adorable. 'I have a sister! I always wanted a little sister! Thank you gods! I'll make her the happiest sister in the entire world, Just you see!' Konrad thought. Then a thought struck him. 'How do I already see so clearly?!...you know what, whatever. Probably this god wand me to actually see the gift so he helped, or something.' He didn't know that what he thought exactly happened.

Living as a newborn baby was quiet tasking but it was nothing in comparison to forcing your soul to fight with the Avatar Spirit. Konrad tried not to think about being fed brėȧst milk or all the other embarrassing stuff. He was usually put in the same bed with his little sister that their parents called Lillian but Konrad already thought of her as Lili. The little girl somehow became very attached to Konrad in only a day or two, and whenever she couldn't see Konrad close by, she would burst into tears. Konrad considered it adorable and became more and more certain that he would do everything to make her happy.

Such pace lasted for two maybe three weeks. Because Konrad was a newborn, he would normally sleep most of the day, so in the end he almost didn't have a time for himself. The rare occasions he got, were used to learn more about his situation. First, It seemed like they were living in a big tent. It was probably moveable and they stayed here only because of the children, precisely he and Lili. He saw a few flying bisons outside and a group of other people, mixed with some marked individuals that were clearly Air benders. He thought that each Air nomad was an air bender but it seems like it's not the case or they were simply not trained enough. After closer inspection Konrad came to the conclusion that indeed, every single person here was an Air bender. The technique of energy sight told him that. But it seems not every person was proficient enough to become a master. Konrad shuddered though, seeing each and every male with their heads shaved. 'As soon as I can, I'm going to get my hair back you weirdos' He thought.

In his short research Konrad also found out the thin spiritual energy in the air. Whenever he saw someone, usually his mother, meditating, the energy would very slightly enter her body. It was like all this cultivation novels but it seems like she wasn't aware of that fact. It was probably the reason why every Air nomad was an Air bender. They were literally filled with more spiritual and elemental energy than other people, which they could then pass to their children. It seems like even without his intervention Lili would become an air bender anyway. He might just gave her a stronger start instead.

Konrad woke up one day fully expecting another boring three hours where maybe one could be spend on training his energy control when something unexpected happened. Konrad woke up in the arms of his mother with lili beside him. A big collection of different toys lied in front of them and a group of Strong looking yet very old Air Monks stood beside them.

Konrad had to spend the next two hours rummaging through the toys with his sister and checking if the Avatar spirit would react to any of them. To his surprise and happiness Lili chose exactly the toys that the spirit reacted to and he was certain at that moment that The god did it on purpose. He wanted so much to go up there and say thank you when he heard a voice in his head.

~Your welcome haha!~

Konrad grinned and went back to choosing the right toys.

*The realm of gods*

"Why did you talk to him? We were supposed not to interfere, right?" Asked the bushy haired goddess.

"We interfered when Lilian chose the Avatar toys, I just wanted to let Konrad know it's our fault, nothing more." Said the god with a smile, " In any case, if I didn't, he would go make some pointless conspiracy theories, and now he's just grateful that they won't be separated in any way."

"Mrrrrr, my Husband is so cunning! Are you sure, your not from Slytherin?" Asked the Blond Goddess.

"Haha, seems like you still need some punishment girl, come here!"

"...Kya not there... Puddin'!!!"

The monks were troubled. Both the children that they came to examine made the perfect choices. It was problematic because they couldn't be sure which one of them is the real Avatar. That one of them was the One, it was certain. There was no other children of the Air nomads born three weeks ago that they didn't check. After a long discussion and plans, The old monks finally decided to take both children to the Temple. Their parent actually instantly agreed when they heard that their children could be taught in one of the Revered Air Temples.

It was a really painful farewell but for the future of their children they were willing to never see them again. As long as their children become happy and strong, they would be happy as well. Konrad was actually moved by how his parents loved their children and decided that he wouldn't forget about them. It wasn't long before they were flying on a Sky bison towards the Southern Air Temple. He still wondered how would they feed them but if they did it in the show then there shouldn't be a problem. Right?

Konrad couldn't enjoy the flight on a Sky Bison for too long because his cursed newborn body fell asleep once again.
