Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka?

Ghosts 2 Goblins

About a year has passed since I was reborn to Goblin.

A year in this world seems to be longer than Earth, about 400 days.

However, there was nothing convenient about the calendar, so I wasn't sure of the exact dates in the village of Goblin.

The goblin seemed to grow fast, and at about the age of one, I grew up to about a kindergarten child, as humans call it.

That's just a story of appearance, though, and the contents don't really come with it.

I still only know the conversation between the goblins in fragments, and I feel weaker than I look.

Still, it must grow a lot faster than humans.

If I were a human one-year-old, I'd still be a baby, but in my case, I could walk on my own.

I think this is a big advantage.

The first thing I did when I was able to move was to find out if there were any other ex-humans in the same situation as me.

I don't know what my cause of death is.

How did you die, how did you do reincarnation?

Because I don't know, I thought maybe I'd have a fellow with the same situation.

But that was a pale expectation.

I explored Goblin, a son born at about the same time as me, in the village of Goblin, depending on allowances, but what I found out was that there was not one reincarnated person in this village like me.

Well, it's not like it was a total waste of time.

I barely even had a conversation with child goblins, but by running around the village, I found out a lot.

I also learned from listening to adult goblins that a year is about 400 days old.

First, goblins grow faster in their bodies, but intelligence develops slowly for that matter.

Goblin, a child as old as me, is about a human kindergartener if it's just the size, but the contents are still not much different from the babies.

There was no such thing as talking goblins.

Even a catacotto can talk like that. I seem to be considered a genius by an adult goblin.

I'm not very happy, though.

What Goblin wants is combat ability, because the head doesn't have that much demand.

Surprisingly, goblins in this world are apparently a raw battle race.

My image, speaking of goblins, felt weak, stupid, dirty, but the goblins here beat all those images.

Weak.

This is not unmistakable.

It seems that just goblins are weak but also have a short life span, and they die soon enough.

If it's just a goblin.

They have the concept of level in this world.

And everything else, skills and magic.

It's like a game, but that's common sense in this world.

And demons that have reached a certain level can evolve.

Goblins are no exception to that.

As far as I can tell, besides just goblins in the village, there is a large hobgoblin with a one-time physique.

Evolving into hobgoblins increases life expectancy and strength more than ever before.

Just the goblins level up men and women to evolve.

Apparently, the only way to increase the level is to defeat other demons.

So natural goblins become a battle race.

Because if you can't evolve, you can't live longer with short life spans and their weakness.

Next is the image of an idiot.

Nor is this unmistakable.

Goblins are a battle race and I'm not really into academics.

I think I'm probably the smartest person in this village.

Maybe, or definitely.

It's just that that's not simply retarded.

Things When it comes to combat, we fight using sophisticated military methods, and we are familiar with how to hunt efficiently.

I just haven't had a chance to learn, and being smart isn't such a bad thing in itself.

Rather, it is as if they have enlightened themselves like some sort of training monk, making them feel somewhat holy air watching.

There is an inviolable nobility there that cannot be deceived by fools and such.

Dirty, means double.

Purely my body is dirty and dirty and in the sense of despicability.

When it came to the goblins I imagine, only bad wisdom works on your stupid ass while you're weak, that's what I imagined.

But the goblins here are more the other way around.

He was a samurai with a noble hold in his chest.

Goblin's day begins with prayer.

Thank the world, thank the goddess who protects the world, and thank her for her daily food.

After offering that prayer, we go to each job.

Unevolved goblins hone themselves, and evolved hobgoblins engage in backward nurturing.

And the hunting squad, with as much power as it can get out hunting, travels through the village.

The village is situated in a rugged mountain range, a dangerous place with harsh environments and a large number of powerful demons.

About half of the goblins in the hunting squad who traveled can come back.

Still, the village of Goblin is viable because of the high propagation of goblins.

Only here was what I imagined.

Welcome the returning goblins and offer their condolences to the victims.

And pray along with thanks for the food they took home with their lives.

Goblins go to the dead to keep the village alive.

Give those goblins what remains of the village the embossed flowers.

As amulet.

The idea is to come back there safely.

With that thought in their hearts, they embark on a life-threatening journey and return.

To live.

To keep you alive.

There was no justice, no evil, nothing there that I cared about in my previous life.

There was just something beyond that.

I saw the traveling goblins and there was something coming up.

I was in tears without knowing.

Something was on their backs just to do so.
