Kuro no Senki

Lesson 8: The Pledge, as amended

A crude cabin outside the village is the base of the Baron Ekron Vigilante.

I don't know the history of his visit, but around ten vigilantes in the possession of Baron Ekron's house... the three or four men in some house were solicited by Mr. Kui to walk away... are packed.

Livestock escaped, there was a fight, and when there was trouble, I rushed faster than anyone to solve it, and if the barbarians stole the livestock, I would go complain as Baron Ekron's representative.

That's the main job.

Until now, I had no doubt.

Mr. Tsubaki protests against the captain by cutting the wind with his shoulders.

It was painful to see the historical captain push silence without being able to say anything.

But now I think.

Chrono's brother was terribly strong.

Neither the beast man, man, nor half elf were strong enough to comprehend even half an elf like a child.

That new battalion captain's men will be as strong as Chrono's.

For, how strong are the barbarians?

No, what's scarier than barbarians is that they fight back and die.

It's about the Baron Ekron family being crushed because of me.

"Hey, Johnny. Are you sick of getting beat up yesterday?

"That's a coincidence. Occasionally, the dagger slipped out and the bitter kick hit the steeple."

No. My brother gave me as much relief as he wanted.

"Hey, I'm gonna give it a little bit to the army... why don't we stop it already?

Johnny looked up at the ceiling and suggested to his people.

"Why are you going to see Captain Gaul when he told you to go home?

"It's my job."

Krono answered Snow, pointing his lips in dissatisfaction in the throne.

"I don't want to see that woman. I made a fool of Faye, and he tried to kill me by calling me a bug."

"Me, too."

If you don't like it or provoke it, you can recieve it, but Cecily goes out to exercise her strength.

If they pull out the sword, Krono will have to protect his men, and both Leila and Faye will have to lay down their weapons to fully serve as escorts.

Yesterday I just went to say hello, but I almost ran out of blade wounds.

Maybe we should be more alert to Cecily than the barbarians we haven't seen yet.

"I don't like Master Chrono either. Then let's go home."

"Yeah, well, but I don't like it and I don't want to work."

"... so are the nobles"

As much as I say 'nobility too', I guess Snow has the perception that he has to do his job, whether he doesn't like it or not.

"Nobility is tough, too. When the lord dies, his income is cut off."

Faye said with the horse in front of the carriage... precisely side-by-side with your seat.

"Faye is a fallen nobleman, isn't he?"

"... you haven't fallen."

Fey pointed her lips dissatisfied as Snow squeaked.

"How is it different?

"We have a chance to rebuild the house."

I think you're falling apart fine at the point of your income interruption, but you shouldn't point it out here because all you get is bad aftertaste even if you make Faye cry.

"How is Faye going to rebuild the house?

"Of course, you make a medal."

Snow tilts his neck wondering if he doesn't understand the relationship between rebuilding the house and putting up a martial arts medal.

"Nobles get money and territory when they put up a martial arts medal. If the great people remember their faces, they may be appointed battalion captains, and if they become battalion captains, they can connect to each side. Depending on what you do, you can earn more than your salary."

"That's about bribery, isn't it? When I was in the slam, soldiers around me were picking up money and missing out on the sleigh."

"Don't do that."

Faye said in a grumpy manner, but let Kane, who is acting as a lord in the Marquis of Elakis territory, say that in insecure areas he is often receiving bribes instead of missing out on crime.

By the way, are bribes sometimes used for birth or relocation and flowing up?

"Master Chrono didn't take the bribe?

"I'm trying to keep my men from accepting bribes because they're totally negative, and I'm turning them down myself."

It was Kane and Tilia's men who took the bribe under strict control.

"Total and negative?

"If you miss a crime, you'll get insecure, and if you rely on certain merchants, other merchants won't be able to make money, and the commercial district will be lonely. Look, if you look at the entire territory, you're obviously undermining it."

Snow opened his eyes to surprise.

"Master Chrono is amazing."

"I haven't been lord to Dada in a year."

Snow turned his respectful eye on him, and Chrono strained his chest.

"I thought Master Chrono was just a jerk, but he seemed to misunderstand"

"Snow!"

Leila reprimanded him from the other side, and Snow shrugged his shoulder like he was frightened.

"'Cause... every night, every night, I heard in Imperial Capital that you were bringing subhumans into bed."

"Indeed, the rumors of Master Krono were blowing to the Imperial City."

New facts to be revealed now!

"Your mother, Captain Deneb, and Captain Aridead."

"No, no, I didn't force you. Oh, no, hey, I can't do you any favors, but I basically respect your will."

Cohon and Layla coughed up at first sight.

"Snow...... I serve as the night games of Master Chrono of my own volition. Deneb and Aridead are just like me."

Though pale, Layla is shyly leaning just a little.

"Does Master Chrono like your mother?

"Of course."

Chrono responded instantly.

"What do you like about it? Me and your mother are half elves."

"Dear Chrono, you don't have to answer"

With that said, Layla's eyes shine in anticipation.

"Kind of hard to answer, I guess"

……

Leila shows a dismayed bareback.

"I think there was some misconception or momentum at first."

If Leila hadn't misunderstood that Krono had retained him to remain in the army because of her affection, she wouldn't have been in a relationship like she is now.

"But Layla is so desperate as to be painful... I thought I'd believe it. Tilia scolded me."

It's my first ear.

'Cause it's not like talking.'

Chrono glanced over his shoulder and answered Leila, who rounded his eyes.

The Dwarves working in the workshop should have witnessed the scene where Tilia beats me and curses me, but even if I can't stand a door in people's mouths, they can stand in Dwarves' mouths.

"Master Chrono turned the Empress Tilia against her enemies and pierced her love."

"... Dear Chrono"

Layla moistened her eyes as she was impressed by Faye's words.

"It's time."

Reach the front line base and stop the front carriage and horse outside the fence just like yesterday.

There is no vigilante in the Baron Ekron family.

The battalion was in the middle of training.

The cavalry is targeted... a substitute for combining round and wood punched into the ground, it looks like a giant cross, but when it successfully hits a wooden plate punched on the tip of a horizontal tree, the assault spear (lance) for training is starting to spin with a circle... so training for riding assault, mixed elves and human archers were bow training, and human, beast and large subhuman infantry were hand assembled with wooden swords and wooden spears.

Gaul was quickly found.

The captain of the Gaul battalion clenched his wooden sword and joined hands with a large sub-man.

I'm meeting the wooden sword.

The opponent was a minotaur, but he doesn't look handsome.

One way or another, it looks like a Gaul Battalion captain.

"Is the captain of the Gaul battalion strong?

"He is a powerful man who can be said to be a candidate for the Knights of Kingsguard. Neither magic, nor the Knights of Kingsguard, can overwhelm large subhuman beings without the use of kamikaze."

Dot and Minotaur fall to the ground.

As Captain Gaul stares down at Minotaur, exchanging two, three, and words, his next opponent walks out.

Chrono looked at the training landscape and had the feeling that he seemed uninterested in running the unit.

Many soldiers are untouched, and many are poorly lustrous or skinny.

The soldiers in question are all subhuman, so maybe they're allocating supplies with human priority.

"… someone is here"

"Isn't that Cecily?

The cavalry, armed with sheet metal armor (plate mails), stopped in front of the Chronos and jumped up the visor.

"Oh, isn't that Mr. Faye?

Apparently, I stopped calling Faye a horse shit bitch.

Cecily deliberately turns her gaze back and forth from Faye's face to her feet.

"You're not being paid for decent armor or horses"

"This armor was built by Mr. Goldie and the others in earnest. The Black King is also a fine horse."

Hun and Cecily snorted to make a fool of themselves.

"The cavalry wears sheet metal armor (platemail) and the market is set."

"Faye is a light cavalry, and you don't need it because you can use kamikaze."

Faye, who can use kamikaze, is a light cavalry but boasts more thrust than a heavily armed cavalry.

Working with other cavalry would also make it possible to act like General Ignis of the Kingdom of Holy Argo.

Cecily stares at Chrono with a ghostly shape, humph! And I rang my nose and went back to training.

"Cecily was always like that?

"Other knights have bad cleaning skills and so on, it's something they beat up a lot. Still, if you work hard, you get paid to keep cleaning the stables."

The other knights were wary of Faye with prominent strength, and Count Pisce would have treaded that it would not be in his own interest to draw on the fallen aristocracy.

"… I would like to try to match it"

"I don't mind."

Captain Gaul feels like he's ignoring us, and I hope Faye gets caught up in it, Chrono permits.

"Lord Gaul, please make arrangements!

……

Gaul stared at Faye as bewildered.

"... Hey, give him the wooden sword"

"Thank you"

He receives the wooden sword from the beast man who was nearby, and Faye gently barebacks to make sure the wooden sword is in good shape.

Neither from either side, Gaul and Faye set up a wooden sword.

Gaul is upper stage and Fay is middle stage.

Gaul makes use of his privileged body for maximum power attacks, so Faye will be there to deal with all situations.

Faye learned to deal ad hoc with moves, bluffs, hatteries and other rushes that do not exist in regular swordsmanship, foresight cultivated by vast combat experience, and to fight adoptive fathers who use every hand.

It was Gaul who set me up first.

Gaul waved down the wooden sword, without any hesitation, as he packed the distance at once.

Gaul's wooden sword cuts the sky.

Faye struck Gaul by jumping forward diagonally, not sideways or behind him.

Attacks from the upper section are limited to 'swinging down' and have the disadvantage of not immediately moving on to the next attack when attacked.

If it was the same opponent, the battle would have arrived at the time of the attack.

But Gaul slashes up diagonally from the wooden sword down to follow Faye.

That's faster than Faye attacking, too.

Faye did not receive a wooden sword, and dashed with a light backstep.

If you are using kamikaze to bottom-up your muscles, you will still not be able to compete with pure muscle strength.

If you are brought to the impending, you will definitely be crushed.

As it was, Faye tried to jump into Gaul's pocket, but suddenly stops on the verge.

In the meantime Gaul slowly restarted himself on the upper level.

Chrono couldn't understand why Faye didn't jump in.

And just like earlier, Gaul waves down the wooden sword, and Faye gently smites.

A routine-worked battle in which Gaul attacked and Faye attacked.

Besides, Faye doesn't attack if Gaul shows an obvious gap.

I think I'm going to attack and I'm going to stop.

Further offense ensued and Chrono finally understood why Faye could not attack.

Feint.

Gaul is sealing her movements by moving her arms, shoulders, and gaze the moment Faye tries to attack her.

Chrono had a rude feeling about Gaul, saying he wasn't an arm fool.

Then the speed battle...... I just have to punch in the wooden sword faster than Gaul.

Faye sets it up from herself for the first time.

Spike... Gaul switched his body quickly with a sharply protruding wooden sword.

Was it to prevent me from jumping into my nostalgia?

Faye, who was attacked, sets the wooden sword in the middle.

Gaul is still in the upper stages this time.

Faye and Gaul were smiling.

It is a grin coloured with joy that allows you to bump your moves into each other on the same level as you.

"Whoa, whoa!

Gaul roars and waves down the wooden sword at once.

It's a blow to the full force that makes your body look bigger one or two times.

Faye receives the sword of Gaul waved down with his own.

No, on the verge of a wooden sword colliding, Faye tilted the wooden sword diagonally.

Gaul's upper body swims.

The blow I unleashed with all my might, the fact that it was flushed, disfigured me.

Faye kicked the ground and slammed a wooden sword into Gaul's flank like a rub.

"... Wow, I won"

Chrono's whining may have spoken for the feelings of everyone who was on the spot.

Scenes and surroundings calm back.

Guillaume and Gaul glanced at Faye,

"Ha-ha-ha, you're amazing."

He laughed with great pleasure.

"I've never seen a woman as strong as you. What's your name?"

"It's Faye Mullifine"

"Well, wouldn't you be one of my men?

Come on, you bastard! You're willing to pull out our precious cadet! and Chrono tried to rush over.

"... I'm sorry"

"I don't force you... why not?

Mmm, and Faye frowned hard.

"There are many reasons."

"Well, then I can't help it."

Gaul stared at Chrono and tongued uncomfortably.

"What's it like today"

"No, I wish I could support you in terms of food and medicines"

This bastard, I thought, replied Chrono with a loving laugh.

"No, go home."

"No, no, I don't care if you tell me to go home... I feel like I'm going to be pissed off from above even if I go home with my bare hands"

"I'll write you a brush, leave Faye"

"No, no, no, something, something like this... even if you're going home, you want an assistant track record."

I'm not going home, but Chrono adds in his heart.

"... chip, do as you please"

"Thank you. So, I'm sorry, but I need to find out about supplies in and out, so can you show me the delivery notes and books?

"Come here."

Looking for him on his own, Gaul walked out.

As we arrive in Gaul a little late, Leila and Snow consolidate the sides of Chrono.

"Dear Chrono,"

"How'd it go?

Chrono asks as he walks.

"Yes, Captain Gaul's reputation isn't so bad. The last time you engaged a barbarian, you rushed and stopped to support the front line of disintegration."

"Mm-hmm, but it looks like everyone wants a full tummy. When I told her I was working under Master Chrono, she could eat a glass of wine and drink alcohol, she was jealous."

I see, Chrono nodded.

As he entered the room in the center of the front-line base, Gaul put it down to bring the box from the back room and slap it on the table.

The box is crammed with parchment and you don't know which one it is.

"Don't you dare, let's line up the food and everything else every month? Leila, help me."

"Okay."

Spreading the parchment over the table, Gaul was circling his eyes.

"I've never even heard half an elf read a letter"

"Because I taught one-on-one (man-to-man)"

Chrono answers as he divides the parchment.

Together with Layla, we divide and divide more… we classify the delivery notes for the past few years as food and otherwise.

"I think Leila knows more about the market, how about that?

"Yes."

When Chrono handed over the delivery form for the food, Leila quickly glanced at the new delivery form.

"The market?

"We leave it up to our deputies and Layla to pick up food and make deals with merchants."

"... cereals seem to be about 20% to 30% higher than the market. Assuming you buy food at 25% of the market, you can only buy 80% of what you need."

The military costs of maintaining the battalion are paid by the Empire, and the captain of the battalion is given great discretion with regard to uses other than labour costs.

But military spending is an amount that will be missing if you don't buy arms and equipment at a fair price and close to the market price for food.

In other words, it is a sparrow's tear, such as a freely available amount of money.

Chrono pays for everything but his salary and food himself, so his men enjoy a top-notch privileged living environment and diet in the Imperial Army.

"As far as I can tell, the ratio of humans to subhumans in this battalion is three to seven. If we distribute food so that humans can secure the required quantity, the food distributed to the subpeople will only be 70% of what soldiers need per day."

"... I see"

After all, you were right to hire Dr. Weissman, and Chrono thought as he listened to Layla's report.

"Baron Crawford or Baron Ekron merchants can get you the food you need."

"What are you going to do?

Apparently Gaul neglects every negotiation.

"I'm going to show you the quote and ask you to make it the same or cheaper than this. If it's the same, keep trading, if it's any higher, from now on, just trade with another merchant. Is there anything else that might be pricey?

As Chrono was checking the market with Leila, Gaul had a frightened look on his face.

"Guys, now you can have a full stomach."

"... Huh!

Gaul stares at Snow in his ghostly shape.

Mine trampled! Faye, where's Faye! and the look of Faye is not in the cabin even if you look around.

"Don't think it's your boss's job to feed your men a full tummy."

Chrono looked to Gaul as he moved to shelter Snow.

My legs trembled so much that I was still going to sit back.

"... well, you're right. It's my responsibility to starve my men. No excuses."

Chrono stroked his chest down as Gaul honestly admitted he was not.

Returning to his own room at Crawford Mansion, Krono arranged the delivery notes he had deposited from Gaul on his desk.

"Looks like it was a fruitful negotiation."

"Thank God the captain of the Gaul Battalion can talk to you."

Soon he slapped a light mouth at Myra, who was sneaking up, and Chrono lowered his back to Iss.

"Myra, where is this Bailey business meeting?

"The Bailey Chamber of Commerce is a large chamber there with branches north of Baron Crawford territory and in Count Burkmeyer territory."

Asked, pointing to the name of the Chamber of Commerce on the delivery note, Myra replied pale.

"So, what's your reputation?

"We all wish we were dead, but what?

Myra had a grin that made her spine colder.

"Has something been done?

"Well, already! When selling crops, every time, it was priced! After the pioneering got on track, I switched to another chamber of commerce, though! Uhahahahaha!"

You're stressing me out, and Chrono deflected his eyes from Myra laughing high.

"Sometimes, boy"

"Hey, what is it, Mr. Myra? I have to work from now on?

Soon, Myra had a drooling hanging on Chrono.

"... chip, looks like someone's here"

"Excuse me for a second!

Bang! and the door opens, and the voice of a damsel very similar to Canaan sounds.

As the general walked over early, she lowered her back to her desk.

"Admiral, long time no see"

"I'm back early, but I need a favor from Master Chrono."

"If you want to negotiate a wage increase, I will. You're seriously working for me, and how about five plus silver coins?

"This time it's a different case."

The general pressed silently at first, staring at Chrono.

"No, I have a job."

"It's not what you think."

Oh, but patience is bad for you, and when Chrono leaned back, the general told her to push it away.

"It's like a vigilante from Baron Ekron's territory is going to kick you out of the army. Can you give me a hand with this?

Chrono held his head.

There was an emergency yesterday today.

Would it have insulted the vigilante's hostility towards the army too much?

"I'll cooperate because I want to avoid a stubborn relationship between the Baron Ekron family and the military, but where did you find out about that?

This is Baron Ekron's maid, Sheila.

"You only look at me once or twice, but you remember me well."

When Chrono asked, Myra revealed the identity of the general lightly, and the general... Sheila scratched her head to say that she had come.

"... I see that the atmosphere is similar to that of Mr. Canaan in the street"

I thought it might be the other way around, but now we should move.

"General...... Shayla is better?

"I don't care either way."

Cohon and Chrono cough.

"Bye, Sheila."

"Oh, thank you. When they call me by my name, it lights up."

Sheila blushed her cheeks in the light.

"Sheila, do you know the route the vigilante uses and the time of arrival?

"Oh, because the route came in conjunction with Canaan. Johnny's supposed to slow down as much as he can, but the evening's the limit."

That would be best if I could persuade you, but even an armed bee.

You have to be prepared for some bleeding, and in the worst case scenario, you might have to kill all the vigilantes.

"... I don't want to bet"

Chrono stood up and gave the order.

Fugu, as soon as your sister gets back, I can't believe this happened.

Even if I say I won't go, I'm sure I'll go on my own by saying, 'Please wait for the good news,' or something.

Fugufugufugu, you're going to be locked up in jail because I'm going to take responsibility for it.

I'm gonna entertain you by the time you die. Ooh, you're gonna get fucked by a filthy guard by force like that.

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

Of course, I won't show it to your face.

As usual, with a slight look on her face, she rides a horse and takes the lead of fifty vigilantes.

"Ah, Mr. Tsubaki!

"Another cunt! Come on, or I'll leave you!

"I'm sorry, sss."

Johnny went and jumped into the bush looking sorry.

Oh, cunt. I suck at shouting such nasty words in public... sister, you're okay, right? I'm able to convince you, aren't I, Chrono? If I can't convince you, if you get lost at all, or the guards, so many?... and Canaan couldn't stand his delusions and nearly fell off horses in jeopardy.

"Johnny! It's not over yet!

Even when Canaan screamed, there was no response.

That's crazy, I would have definitely replied if I'd called earlier.

No way, did you run away?

"Somebody, check on Johnny!

"Ugh!

A vigilante with an old sword raised from his waist enters the bush.

Bush...... Both sides of the road are covered in grass up to hip height.

One step, one step and a vigilante takes the walk.

The moment I took my dozen steps, the vigilante disappeared neglectfully.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

"Hey, there's something here!

"What is something!

The vigilantes scream.

"Ha, help!

A vigilante who went to see Johnny from the bush shows up.

"Chi, blood!

As the word goes, the vigilante who emerged from the bush was bloodstained.

"Ha, help, help!

Bataah! and the bloody vigilante falls.

No, they grabbed my ankle by an arm covered in yellow and black hair stretching out of the bush and dragged me down.

"Ahhh!

Leaving claw marks on the ground, the bloody vigilante was taken to the back of the bush.

"Chi, motherfucker!

"Hey, what's going on!

"Ma'am, we're surrounded"

"What!

The, zazz! and the grass shakes, and the beast man and the elf rise.

Turn around, the exit was blocked by the Beast Man.

Right, sister, let me, you convinced me, didn't you? and Canaan turned his gaze in awe.

"Chip! I'll run through it all at once, you guys!

The moment Canaan tried to run his horse, an arrow that flew from nowhere pierced the ground.

"Who is it? Don't hide. Come out!

"I'm not going to be hiding."

The view swayed loosely ahead, the brunette young man...... Krono showed up.

With a silver-haired half-elf and a human woman.

"Mister!"

At Chrono's feet was Johnny tied with rope.

"Let Johnny go!

"But if we let this guy go, Sister Canaan will attack the base, right?

Canaan was stuck in words.

Even if Kanan promised, the vigilantes could renege on the promise by saying they didn't even have hostages.

"As far as I'm concerned, I don't mind killing them all because I can sell my thanks to the captain of the Gaul battalion. After all, I'm a neighbor, and I don't want to waste any blood and leave any remorse behind. So why don't we fight like nobles here?

"A duel?

Chrono nodded and grinned.

"If I lose, I'll give Johnny back, and I won't interfere with Sister Canaan. If I win... either way, Johnny will give it back, but Sister Canaan wants me to return to Baron Ekron's territory. It's ok to be a substitute, because I can be a substitute too. Win or lose is either surrender or you won't be able to fight"

"What if I said no?

"Don't you dare, carve Johnny to death, kill all of Sister Canaan's men, and Sister Canaan will match your eyes to regret being born a woman."

Scared! and Canaan scratched us by accident.

I mean my eyes with such a pretty face.

This kid is seriously willing to put me in the eye to regret being a woman.

"I'll take it. Robert, rub it!

"Faye, win"

When Robert silently pulled out his sword, he pulled out his sword so that the woman called Faye would also respond.

"I'll take it. Robert, rub it!

"Faye, win"

All right, you took it! and Chrono clenched his fist to strength.

I don't show it to my face, I'm Jen-royal with my arms together.

A duel is a way for everyone to see victory and defeat, with less sacrifice.

It was possible to get poked at, but it would have been nice to ambush him and let him panic in the middle.

It should also have worked well to have that vigilante exposed to livestock blood.

I'm glad the magic I wore to sneak into Elena's room helped me with the miscalculation, I need to praise Eryl when I get back to the realm.

There is a chance.

Johnny, the first dagger in Baron Ekron's territory, is on that level.

A man with a scratch on his lip called that Robert wouldn't be Faye's enemy either.

In addition to regular swordsmanship, Faye is mastering his adoptive father's swordsmanship in action.

But such thoughts of Chrono,

"" God, bless my blade! "Holy Blade"!

smashed by the yellow light covering Robert's sword.

Huang is the colour that symbolizes the Mother God who makes it loess and conducts abundance.

"Dear Krono, you have been commanded to win, even in lieu of your life."

Darkness rises like smoke from Faye's body, and particles shining in yellow are released from Robert as he responds.

Robert points his cut at Fay.

The structure is a spike...... but too far apart.

At the next moment, like an unleashed arrow, without any foretaste, Robert was instantly accelerating to top speed.

Quinn! and a spark scattered across Faye's chest.

Robert's sword plundered Faye's armor.

Why? And the thought turns empty.

It shouldn't be possible to launch an attack with no motion, even if it strengthens the flesh with divine authority.

But even though Robert hasn't moved his legs, he's bursting the ground and once again releasing a hit-and-body thrust at Faye.

At the same time as the second poke was released, Faye sank her body as she crawled through the ground.

Instantly the distance between Faye and Robert clogged and something burst between them.

The two leave so that they can play, and set up their swords.

This is where Chrono understood why Robert could accelerate in no motion.

Robert burst the ground by divine art, and his reaction enabled a no-motion spike.

If this were "God Who Turns Crimson and Conducts Destruction," I would have been able to quickly break the identity of the move because the firepowder would be spreading in abundance.

I'm used to fighting, and Chrono realized that he misjudged Robert's prowess.

But what's really to be afraid of is Faye, who took the first blow and found a way to deal with the second.

Faye realized that Robert's acceleration was a reaction to the burst and saw through weaknesses that could only go in a straight line.

So Faye put up his sword in such a low position that Robert would barge in from himself and injure himself.

Robert realized that he had been spotted weak and would have burst the ground on the verge of being attacked to distance himself from Faye.

Faye chases Robert all the time if he doesn't let him get away.

But Robert turned to Fey's side with a boxer-like footwork and waved down his sword in return and all.

Gin! and the metal sounds.

As if it were Gaul, Faye waved his sword out of a shaken position and outmaneuvered Robert's attack.

"God!

In response to Robert's cry, no, and prayer, the stone spear stretches from all directions without skewering Faye.

"Huh!"

Faye flashes his sword, a spear of stone, destroys some of it and escapes hard.

"God!

Don! Don! Dodong! and praying to Robert. Stone columns stand one after another, inhibiting Faye's whereabouts.

Even for a moment he hesitated, the stone pillar would have launched Faye's body, or crushed his jaw.

But Faye escaped the onslaught of the stone pillars as if he were predicting the future.

Robert waved his sword down and Faye took a light step.

"God!

The sword stretched as Robert followed Faye and unleashed the slaughter of the crossbow.

Unlike Fay who used to stretch out the darkness that covered the blade against Rio, the blade itself stretched out.

"Mother God, who makes loess and commands abundance," is the God of the earth.

Then what wonder is there that iron was stretched out over the earth by his prayer?

"Huh!"

Faye staggered his sword vertically and received Robert's blade, but KING! and made a clear sound and the sword broke, and the pattern fell out of her hand.

A broken blade pierces the ground as it spins in a circle.

"Whoa!"

Robert shook down the sword toward Faye, which grew larger than the Great Sword.

Faye doesn't move with her hips down.

The posture resembled that of absenteeism.

But Faye is losing his sword.

What do you say we pull out of it that only the sheath exists?

"Artifact Summoning, Sword Drawing!

Darkness bursts.

Born out of the bursting darkness is a blackening sword.

Exquisitely crafted sword, it had no resistance whatsoever, severed Robert's sword and severed his upper arm deeply.

A sword falls from Robert's hand.

But there's no blood.

One second, two seconds, the moment I suspected it was an illusion that I had slit my arm, blood erupted like a nightmare from Robert's arm.

"Robert!"

Canaan rushes over and supports Robert, who is about to collapse.

"Come on, come on, stop the blood with your divine art!

"Mr. Tsubaki, I've overused Kamikaze."

Robert breathes on his shoulders in agony.

"Retreat! Robert's been hit! I'm retreating!

"Brother!"

"Damn, how dare you have a brother!

"Remember, motherfucker!

The vigilantes screamed at each other and went back the way they had come.

Well, Robert would never die because he was winking at this one.

"Faye!"

When Chrono saw Faye, she was going into the ground.

"Um, Faye?

"My father's shape-shifting sword is broken!

Hawa, Faye was holding his sword with a look full of despair like the end of the world had come.

It is often thought that noble mansions, their treasure trove, etc. sleep, but in the case of Crawford Mansion it is merely a warehouse.

"Leila, was it over there?

"No, what about Snow?

"I don't have one either. Where's Johnny?"

"There's no one here either, sss!

It is Faye's sword search when it comes to what the four of us are doing: Chrono, Leila, Snow and Johnny.

"Uh-huh, I thought I had one or two swords."

The four of us searched desperately for it and found it about spears, shields, and chest armor (Breast Mail).

"Hey, son! What are you doing without eating?

"I'm looking for a replacement because Faye's sword is broken."

"What? A sword. A consumable."

"No, actually..."

Chrono explained, his adoptive father had a bitter look on his face.

"Don't you have a spare sword?

"There is... I don't know what to say, Faye's dents aren't half as good. I was wondering if it would cheer me up if it was like a masterpiece."

Chrono laughed bitterly that it was a childlike idea while I was there.

"Damn, I don't have a choice. Wait a minute."

So my adoptive father left the warehouse.

"Ooh, give him this."

My adoptive father, who came back after a while, gave Krono his sword.

It is a brilliantly crafted sword of what does not extend to the artifact summoned by Faye.

Pulling it out of the sheath, the blade glows like wet, and is crisply colorful.

The blade alone is comparable to the artifact.

"What's this?

"My wife... it's Elua's shape. I don't know how it turned out to be my wife's, but it looks like a pretty good deal, huh?

"Is it good?

"My wife's memories are here"

Don! and his adoptive father slapped him in the chest.

"In the old Crawford mansion in the garden, in the fields, on the bridge. Tell you what, the territory itself is like a shadow of a wife. Hey, give it to me now!

"Thanks, Dad!

With his sword in his arms, Chrono popped out of the warehouse and headed to Faye's room.

I knock, but I don't hear back.

"Faye, are you coming in?

……

Upon entering the room, the lights were turned off and the dim darkness filled the room.

Am I asleep?

No, Faye is sensitive to the signs.

Even if he was asleep, he would be awake the minute Chrono walked into the room.

Chrono lowered his hips on the bed and stroked Faye's head.

"Faye?"

……

Faye does not answer.

Spee, I heard Spee and rest in peace.

"You're asleep!

"Hey, what is it?

Unexpectedly, Faye woke herself up as surprised.

"Ku, Master Chrono, are you crawling at night?

"No, I'm not... I was depressed, so give me a replacement sword."

When Chrono offered his sword, Faye received it sitting upright on the bed.

"This is a wonderful sword."

Faye said, pulling only a little sword out of his sheath.

"Yeah, I've never met her... but it's like a sword of shapes"

"... may I have such an important item?

"My dad said memories are in his heart, but I guess he wants Faye to use them because they're important stuff"

Faye is busy comparing Chrono to the sword, apparently without stomping off.

"Okay, fine."

"Oh, are you angry?

Krono took the sword from Faye and stood in the center of the room.

The blue and white moonlight brings up that corner.

"Faye, Faye Mullifine"

"Yes, it is"

Faye jumped out of bed like a panic and knelt under Chrono's feet.

Chrono pulled out his sword.

In the moonlight, Elua's sword shines.

"Dead Mother... by the sword of Elua make thee my knight"

"... Huh!

Chrono touched Faye's shoulder with a sword that opened his eyes to surprise.

"… for the rest of our lives, we dedicate the same love and loyalty to Lord Chrono"

Krono was now surprised by Fey's pledge.

As the word goes, the knight must keep his vows.

For the rest of my life, the same love...... love is neither immutable nor eternal.

Faye said she would bet everything on such uncertain emotions.

"Whether the sky falls, the earth is torn, and swallowed by the sea, the oath will never be broken."

When Chrono offered his sword, Faye received it with both hands respectfully.

……

Fey stared silently, and Chrono swallowed his saliva.

Love and loyalty for the rest of your life, unchanged.

Heavy, too heavy a pledge.

That's why Chrono has to live up to Fay's feelings.
