Labyrinth Restaurant

brave man, to be fed

In the first place, shopkeeper, why is the Demon King doing a restaurant in the human world?

The reasons for this were the following:

He ruled the demonic kingdom as a demon king and spent about a hundred years making it a peaceful and rich world.

But my position as king was so smug that I couldn't walk easily.

Then I thought it would be easy to live in the unsold human world.

So, about a year ago, I started a restaurant to fully cook my hobby in the back of the labyrinth, feeling like half a vacation.

Mostly, they said it was this flow.

What a good reason, I just need to be angry or scared...

I feel like I can't do anything as a demon king who was made to struggle scatterly because he came from the demon world to the human world with such a light nori. But it doesn't seem like it was done with malice in the first place, and it seems like it's a mystery to be angry when you see the Demon King who seems sorry in front of me right now.

Well, aggression, war, it would be more peaceful and better than coming for that kind of noisy reason... but it leaves me with an indescribable sense of moya.

... In the meantime, let's shelve the area and note that the Demon King has been found safely.

But then you come here and a new problem comes up.

The demon king must appear in order to summon a brave man.

The condition for a brave man to return to his former world is to defeat the Demon King.

We hear that when a brave man triumphs over the Demon King, the art of automatically returning to the original world is activated.

By not being able to summon freely and sending them back as soon as they are ready, they say the summoning technique itself serves as a safety device so that the power of the brave will never be used in warfare between humans.

Well, they say it's a secret technique given to humans by the goddess who watches over this world, but it's something that works pretty well.

However, like this one, the Demon King was a pacifist and did not seem to envisage coming to the human world for any purpose other than aggression...

Perhaps now if I put out my holy sword and slay the Demon King, that will allow me to return to Japan.

But can I slay someone who's not a bad guy in the first place, but on the contrary has been kindly with a lot of things?

I often think in my mind and ask myself, … I can't.

I am not false in my desire to return to Japan, but if I imitated the innocent, who also slashes and kills the benefactor, then perhaps I will be crushed because of regret and self-blame even if I return to Japan afterwards.

Then can we return by any other means, which is not a regular way of returning?

In fact, the Demon Kings are coming to the human world from another world called the Demon World, and they should have some means of crossing between worlds.

That's how I decided to ask the Demon King to help me return to the original world.

I'm sure the Demon King has lost some trouble with me, but he promised to cooperate with me with pleasure.

Gu......

And I've been talking about it for a long time, but suddenly there was such a noise.

... Well, it's the sound of my stomach...

I feel my face red and hot with embarrassment.

Come to think of it, I just took a sip of miso soup earlier, and it was nearly half a day ago that I ate before that. Still, it may be because I was relieved to find a clue to return to the original world, albeit to a certain extent.

The hunger gets stronger and stronger once I become aware, and I try to keep my belly bugs from rattling any further with my strength in my stomach.

This is just a paragraph of the story, and I decided to take a break once at the suggestion of the Demon King.

Alice took a seat to make tea and walked into the kitchen behind the store saying the Demon King was going to make something light to eat at night.... You've apparently made me pay attention.

And a few minutes later, what the Demon King prepared for me was a set of rice balls and miso soup.

They have three rice balls per person and the contents are plums, salmon and crazy.

It's a very grateful choice for me to be hungry for Japanese food.

I cried a little earlier, so maybe it's okay, but now I need to be careful not to cry after eating...

Alice placed only hot green tea water in front of each other, and the meal began with the voice of her.

Truth be told, over the past year I have been finding rice, but that was not a short-grained rice, like Japonica rice, which is commonly eaten in Japan, but a long-grain rice, like Thai rice. Long grains of rice are delicious when cooked in pilaf, fried rice, etc., but they are low in moisture and unsuitable for cooking and eating as is.

The rice balls I haven't eaten in a year were exceptional.

The gentle sweetness of rice enhances the flavour of spreading utensils in your mouth every time you chew.

It plays the best harmonies with the acidity of the plums, the saltiness of the salmon, the flavor of the strange, the rice they interact with and the seaweed that wraps the rice balls.

Then sip miso soup.

The flavor of miso goes hand in hand with the tofu and wakame of the appliance, and even if I don't cry any more on the boulder, I'm going to tremble with emotion.

Some of it was because I was hungry, but I finished eating rice balls that were quite the size of the octopus and drank them without leaving a drop of miso soup.

Think slowly of green tea after a meal.

Even minus my hunger for Japanese food, this rice balls and miso soup is quite a level. I would probably believe it if they told me that the boardfront of a leading Japanese kiosk made it. The Demon King apparently has an equivalent cooking arm.

Especially the miso soup is called the way to take dashi, the way to extract the flavor of miso and the best made. If this miso soup comes out for breakfast, I'm sure you'll be fine that day. I thought so. I said this because my stomach was swollen and I was relaxed.

"I want to drink the Demon King's miso soup every morning"

The demon king and Alice who heard the words were stiff as if they had frozen.

I feel a strange air and say something strange, and I resent my dialogue in my head.

And after a few seconds of delay, I realized what that word meant, and I turned my face bright red and explained that I had no other intention.
