Beware of cold traps

"Grunt......!

"Mmmm......"

It's about one hot summer day.

Prince Simon and Lime were in a hot battle at the tip of a chilling demon king's shop.

That doesn't mean we're in a fight today, though.

The event of the battle is an arm wrestling.

We have both gained a lot of strength as children, thanks to the fact that we have usually taught each master to work out and learn how to move our bodies.

I still don't have much muscle, but I'm also getting used to moves that shed magic and improve my physical abilities, so that I can also have heavy luggage and other things that I couldn't have before. That's how you'll want to test the power you've worked out. It'll be called Humanity.

But not everyone can try their best.

You can't get a real sense of growth with someone who's too weak, and you just regret losing with someone who's too strong.

I used to try an arm wrestling on Gardo who happened to be in the store (aside from being able to call that state an arm wrestling), but it was only for the two of us, and even though we worked hard with both hands, we weren't even freaked out, and on the contrary, they put the two together and pushed each other through the body.

Sometimes when Alice or Lisa are opponents, they care about the two of them and give them a hand, but unfortunately, they weren't better at acting. I'm not happy at all where I was handed down and won.

After all, it is those with close prowess who deserve this kind of force-tested opponent.

If your physique is too different, you will have difficulty combining hands, so if your physique is too close, it is still good.

So let's just say it's inevitable that Simon and Lime will compete again and again this way.

Today's results have been so far won and lost.

It would be better to control the last three to be the winner of the day -,

"... Huh! All right, we won!

Simon won this day by a marginal margin.

It seemed to be the winning factor that kept the magic to strengthen muscle strength in the first half, anticipating from the start that the settlement would lead to the final battle.

"I can't let it go."

"Uhm, I'll take it anytime and stand up"

"Come on, it's him today."

Just after the battle was settled, Alice brought sweets from the kitchen. Perhaps he was watching from a distance to gauge the timing so as not to disturb the two of us.

"Do you mind?"

"No, this is... oh, this is fantastic!

"Hehe, I had a good watermelon today, so I tried a new one with the Demon King. I haven't put it on the menu yet."

It was a watermelon bigger than a man's head that was carried on top of a basin.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to cut this apart and bite it as it is, but if that were all, Alice wouldn't bother to say "new" or anything.

If you look closely nearby, the watermelon was cut off at the top so that it could be used as a vessel through the inside. The cavity thus made is poured with sweetened carbonated water (cider), and a spherical sorbet made with the addition of watermelon pulp, lemon juice and a small amount of sugar swims through the sea of carbonated water.

Cool from the looks of it, it's the perfect ice treat in hot weather.

Simon and Lime started eating quickly when Alice poured sorbet spheres and carbonated water into a clear glass vessel - which also seemed to be cooled in the freezer to keep the confectionery from getting warm - and put it out in front of the two.

"Uhm, delicious!

"Stuff. Yum."

Carrying a bite-sized watermelon sphere into your mouth with a spoon also feels so refreshing that the heat of the battle and the heat of summer until earlier, all together, will fly away somewhere.

Such a cool feeling would be the work of carbonated water that tingles and tickles the tip of your tongue, not just because it's cold. We both don't like very strong carbonation because it's too irritating, but to this extent, it seems rather preferable.

It has a well ripened watermelon flavor, but surprisingly, it's not that sweet. It doesn't mean it's not enough or the flavor is thin, the satisfaction is firm.

Each one of the sorbets is refreshed on a small top, so you can't stop reaching from next to next. The first cup poured happened to be empty, and we both got right to the second.

As you continue to eat, the sorbet sphere begins to melt and the texture softens, nor does the change of mixing watermelon flavors with carbonated water bore your tongue funny...... but.

"Still don't confine yourself to cold things on hot days"

"... yeah"

"What's up, Lime? Your hands seem to be stopping, but even your head hurts?

"... nothing"

When has Lime's hand stopped eating cold sorbet balls until just now? It doesn't seem to be the same as the so-called ice cream headache that happens when you eat cold food in a hurry......,

"Oh, could it have made my stomach hurt? You shouldn't have to."

"What. If you want to go to the bathroom, you don't have to put up with it."

"...... Huh!?"

If you eat cold food, your stomach can be surprised and suddenly hurt.

The funny thing about Lyme is, I mean, well, that's why.

No matter how superhuman the guts this young girl has, there's no way she can cover that hand problem with her mental strength because of the way a person (elf) body works.

I guess I could hardly say by my pride as a lady (lady) or my will or my shame and all the other circumstances, even though I was still young. Lime is by no means emotionless, even if it's a small mouthful and expressionless.

Never offended me, but Alice tore me apart lightly, even though it was more due to Lime's physical condition.

"... I'm coming"

If it's over, it's all good.

The worst has been painfully avoided, so you would be right in this case to force yourself to tell yourself that, even so. After the next day, it was also a miscalculation for Lyme herself that she was to win a battle with Simon for a while in a row with the power of eight hitting temperament anger.

Nothing is always winter when the freezing cold strips your fangs.
