Beating people in their own game is only but a child's play to Weiss.

Not only would he uncover those who were involved in illegal activities, but he would also make sure that those who happened to offend him would pay. He had once said that it was part of his preparation as the next head of the family. Though there are only a few who know how his training really works, they would all still think that engaging in such undertakings is too much to bear for someone his age.

At eight, he had been in enough danger to feel the need to hide, and at ten, he had taken up several identities just to have a safe and peaceful life.

"Khalil? What's the matter?"

At that, Khalil snapped out of his thoughts. He turned back to Weiss, who's already wearing his school uniform, and found a questioning look on his face.

"I'm sorry. It's nothing…" he apologized before opening the door of the car for him.

"Are you ready to go now, Young Master?"

"Yes, please. Take me there…" he replied, walking up to the car.

"Contact the café manager, too. I need that thing I asked from them."

"Understood. I'll be delivering it to you later this morning."

"Alright. Thank you."

With that, Khalil began to drive Weiss to school.

"What kind of blasphemy are you trying to commit by spreading such lies, Ms. Mirabella?!"

"The only thing that's blasphemous here is your use of the word 'blasphemy', Ms. Verosica!"

Right off the bat, chaos broke out.

Contrary to Weiss's expectation, it wasn't the Student Elite Society that made the first violent reaction. Rather, it's their recently assigned supervisor, Ms. Verosica. She's now going up against his and Lady's club moderator, Ms. Mirabella.

He had just entered the faculty office when he found them arguing - so early in the morning, at that.

"I'm talking about this article that your writers released! Do you have any idea how this can affect the image of the SES?! They're the highest governing student body in the whole academy! Will you be able to hold yourselves accountable for the consequences?!" Ms. Verosica raged.

"We don't fear such things as long as what we have is the truth – and this article says nothing but the truth! It is our duty to inform and educate our students! We know who the SES is, and we're sure it's that SES's doing! My writers don't promote fake news or fabricate information!" Ms. Mirabella retaliated.

"And how are you so certain they don't?! Who exactly are your sources?!"

"Sorry. Journalists are responsible for protecting their sources' identities."

"How will you be able to prove your claims, then?!"

"We have evidence, of course! If you want them, we'll show them to you."

"I'm already highly dubious of your content. How's any proof coming from you can be believable? They can be false too for all I know."

"While it's understandable why you'll take the student council's side, Ms. Verosica, I don't think it's reasonable for you to attack our campus journalists like that."

"Attack? What are you talking about? I'm simply expressing my opinions here, Ms. Mirabella. It's my right to do so! Don't you always do that? All that stuff about freedom of speech, I mean?"

"This and that are different! For your information, we're not merely expressing our opinions. We've got facts to back them up!"

"No matter how you look at it, you are trying to defame the SES!"

The confrontation between Ms. Mirabella and Ms. Verosica goes on. Weiss can only watch for the next seconds to come.

'Well, that escalated quickly…' he thought.

'I came here to talk about the article with Ms. Mirabella, but it seemed like Ms. Verosica already beat me to it.'

He is quite glad that his adviser is quick on the uptake, though. She has come to their defense without a second thought – even claimed that they've got enough proof when she herself had only learned about the article this morning. He is quite impressed that the adviser of the opposing party is quick to react, too.

'We were anticipating that the teachers would get involved a bit later. But as it turned out, they were the first ones to cause an uproar…' Weiss mused, thinking of joining in already before Ms. Mirabella and Ms. Verosica ended up cutting each other's throat.

'Well, no biggie – or so how Lady says it. I just have to adjust.'

With a collected stride, he makes his way to both of them. The other faculty members, who are still contemplating whether to get in between the two or spare themselves from the trouble, are all taken aback to see him. Some even stand up from their seats, regretting getting caught doing nothing to cease the commotion.

"Good morning, Ms. Mirabella and Ms. Verosica," Weiss greeted with a smile.

Recognizing his voice almost instantly, both of them stopped. Then, they whipped their heads in his direction, eyes as wide as saucers.

"Y-Young Master Saoirse," Ms. Verosica tried to hiss but ended up stuttering.

"Oh, please, don't call me that, Ma'am. In here, I'm just a simple student," remarked Weiss, smiling more brightly.

Bullcrap.

Nearly everyone there already knows. The boy is not even officially enrolled. He's only attending classes because it's part of his preparation as the successor. Going to school, for him, is just like going to a playground.

"Perfect timing, Mr. Saoirse! We have a lot of things to discuss…!" Ms. Mirabella chimed in, huffing at Weiss before giving Ms. Verosica one final look.

"Now, if you'll excuse me, Ma'am. I need to talk with my Editor-in-Chief."

He is sure she doesn't have to. But it seems that she feels the need to put an emphasis on his position. She is probably trying to brag.

"Us too! The student council and I will have to do a meeting…!" announced Ms. Verosica before turning around and walking away.

"And we shall talk again after that!"

"She does know that you have classes to go to, right…?" Ms. Mirabella scoffed, albeit low enough for only Weiss to hear.

"What a power-hungry woman. Ever since the student council has been entrusted to her, she thinks she's in charge of everything in this place."

Obviously, that morning didn't start out too well for many of them.

The news has taken over the entire school by storm. It's only to be expected, though. Everything about the Student Elite Society is newsworthy. At least, for the students of the academy, it is.

Even something as irrelevant and trivial as gathering together for a group study in a local coffee shop can already be a huge thing. It kind of reflects the current state of the country's media nowadays. Almost everything that a famous personality does is being aired and reported.

Star factor, is what they call it.

"That being said, I can only imagine how this issue will blow up, Mr. Saoirse."

Ms. Mirabella is concerned.

Of course, she is. The student council is full of people who've come from prestigious families, after all. If this incident gets big enough, there's a likelihood that the parents will be called.

"You said we shouldn't fear anything as long as what we have is the truth, Ms. Mirabella…" Weiss muttered with an icy smile and glinting eyes.

"I have proof, and I'm a Saoirse."

As much as she didn't want to show it, she couldn't help but flinch at that. She should've already figured it out, though, considering that he's not one to start something without a good reason – still, what he's starting here is basically a war. The article she'd read earlier was merciless and unforgiving, going by how detailed the happenings were told.

'With a headline like, 'The SES's True Colors Exposed,' it's already scandalous. How the event unfolded was definitely even more shocking, especially since it's told by the school publication, which was known for always singing praises to the members of the SES…' Ms. Mirabella pondered heavily, wondering what it was exactly that Weiss was trying to do.

'Oh, well. He says there's proof, and not to mention, he's a Saoirse.'

Unless the situation gets out of hand, she'll just stay at the side and let him do his thing. There's so little she can do, anyway.

He's got power, and he's got influence. Also, he's got a look on his face that's making her feel tense.

This boy is really no joke.

"Freaking damn it!"

Exposed is the perfect word to describe what Glenn feels at the moment.

He just learned that those middleschoolers had already begun their promised vengeance. It was mortifying to see everyone whispering about him as soon as he got to school. That was the very first time it happened in his whole life.

Not to mention, those doubtful, suspecting looks – they piss him off. But what he hates more are those that are full of disdain and scorn.

Even some of the girls he had flirted with before were trying to steer clear of him.

"What about Sarah?! Did Sarah already see it?!"
