Lady has talked about keeping it simple this year, but Weiss still does some planning.

Nights before the much-awaited celebration, he remains awake when all are already asleep, staring at the calendar in his bedroom. Three days away from today lies an encircled date. He wonders how she will be able to hold a party and enjoy it to her heart's content when it lies on a weekday.

'Will she celebrate it tomorrow so she can utilize the free time that the weekend gives? Or she will still celebrate it on Monday, the actual day?'

After a while of wondering when a party can be held, he muses on how exactly Lady will want to celebrate it. She doesn't want anything too grand or fancy, so Weiss tries to come up with something that can truly make her happy.

'Will her family plan a surprise party? What kind of gifts will she like? What kind can I give her? Will our friends talk about theirs in secret?'

Weiss sighs, thinking how Lady just deserves so much.

His lips curve down into a frown, his hand reaching for his phone. He immediately accesses Twitter, searching for her name. It wasn't too long ago since he found out that she had an account there, albeit it had been through his constant eavesdropping on other people's conversations. He had initially been confused at certain slangs - the terms 'follow' and 'tweet' included. But he eventually managed to learn the ropes, and he even got to sign up after conducting an investigation.

It takes a couple of minutes before Weiss eventually arrives at Lady's social media account.

She doesn't really post that often. However, there's a new post on her page today.

[Lady Mireille: I want coffee on my birthday OwO]

[Fallon Mireille: weirdo]

Weiss sits back, marveling at the tweet. Time and again, Fallon is right - what a weirdo, indeed.

'Is she serious? She wants coffee for her birthday?'

She can brew the drink easily enough on any other day. He shakes his head at the thought, smiling despite himself.  She  truly continues to surprise him.

Scrolling down Lady's page to look for more info, Weiss's attention is then caught by one photo in particular.

His eyes lay on a picture of a shelf full of stuffed toys - with a pink teddy bear at the dead center. There are more of it below. A lot more, actually. It's very easy to see how much she wants that toy. His mind starts to put together the vaguest hints of an idea.

'Come to think of it, she's been going on and on about a teddy bear since last week, hasn't she?'

Feeling quite inspired, Weiss pulls out a neat sheet of memo paper and begins to sketch.

Lady knows something's up when she sees Fallon's message on the morning of the much-anticipated day.

She had been waiting for him to come by so they could ride to school together as they'd usually do, and he had been running late. Only when twenty minutes had passed did she get the urge to check her phone for any texts from him, and as soon as she saw she did get one, she was not amused.

[Fallon: Sick today. Can't come]

"That… is the lamest excuse in the history of excuses," she huffed to herself.

She brings the phone up. Then, she begins to type furiously.

[Lady: laME]

[Lady: your planning something]

[Lady: WELL STOP]

(Fallon is typing)

[Fallon: Your grammar is lame]

[Fallon: I will not stop]

[Fallon: Now go to school idiot]

[Lady: you dont have to plan anything for me!!!]

Fallon doesn't respond after that. Lady huffs once more.

She spams him with a few more texts before tucking her phone back into her pocket. Brushing her hair out of her eyes, she then sighs, "Fine". If he's going to go against her wishes and plan some sort of surprise for her, she'll just have to return the favor next year -

If she still remembers to do so, anyway.

On the way to school, she keeps humming the happy birthday tune to herself. When she enters the classroom, she sees a cup of coffee sitting on her desk. Baffled, she picks it up and finds it's still hot.

There's a card underneath with a beautiful picture of purple roses on it, and written there in elegant cursive are the words, "Open me for Instructions."

Hartigan and Belle are still not around. Lady wonders if it's Fallon or Weiss then.

"Did you see who left this?" she asked one of her classmates.

"Oh, the coffee? I'm not really sure, but it could be Weiss."

With a beaming grin, Lady hastily picks up the card and opens it.

---

If the lady wants that pink teddy bear, she'll get that pink teddy bear.

"Okay, where's that stupid bear?"

Fallon is close to snapping at that point. Together with Weiss, he storms around the local toy store, trying to find that pink teddy bear that Lady so desperately wants.

For the past week, she had been nagging the two of them about it. She told them just how badly she needed this stuffed toy, and now that her birthday was only several hours away, they were determined to get it for her.

"I think it's in this aisle?" Weiss wondered out loud, turning to walk down an aisle, while Fallon pushed the cart and followed him.

As soon as they reached it, they quickly spotted the teddy bear on the shelf. But they saw that it was the only one left. Standing before the shelf are two girls who appear to be a few years younger than them. One of them went and grabbed the stuffed toy.

"Uh, oh."

Weiss frowned in disappointment. Fallon, on the other hand, didn't falter.

Ever the cool and collected one, he thought of using his striking charms for once to get his way. He tried to talk with the girls as they walked over.

"Hey, kids, would you mind getting something else? We'll pay for it. You see, our best friend has been wanting that exact same thing for a while now, and we really like to get it for her," he explained to them with a smile.

"Beat it, old man," one of them spat.

Fallon went rigid, his brow twitching. At his look of surprise and incredulity, Weiss covered his mouth to keep himself from laughing out loud.

"Old?! I'm only thirteen, you little brats!" he bolted out exasperatedly.

"Old!" the girls shouted in sync.

Fallon felt a vein pop. Weiss was about to lose it.

"Where the hell are your parents!? Give me that damn bear!" he demanded.

"Okay, bro, easy. It's just a toy," he tried.

Fallon scowled, turning to look daggers at him. Weiss sweatdropped.

"It is not 'just' a toy, Weiss. This stuffed bear is important. This is the first gift we will be giving Lady together, and if we get her anything else, we will be known as the worst friends to ever exist because all she is asking for is a freaking toy, and yet, we can't even get her that!"

Weiss sighs in defeat. He wants to remind him that both of them are more than rich enough to give Lady everything she wants, but he just chooses to zip his mouth and lets him throw his tantrum in favor of keeping his sanity. Satisfied with his response, Fallon turns back around to confront the two girls again. His scowl deepens, his expression darkening.

"Listen to me, little brats. That teddy bear is more precious to us than our own damn lives because of what it represents. Now, go ahead and move your tiny asses," he raged at both of them, making them gape in shock and shudder in fear.

Weiss looks around in a panic. He finds a few concerned parents pulling their own children closer to them, whispering about staying away from that 'crazy boy' or something. Fallon already looks edgy enough with his emo hairstyle. He should really refrain from making others misunderstand him more.

"F-Fine... W-We didn't want this bear, anyway... You and your boyfriend can have it..." one of the girls stammered out, struggling to act tough.

"I-I hope that slut you keep talking about likes it."

Weiss stilled at that.

He then slowly turns to the girl with a menacing smile, making her tremble in apprehension. Ever the warm and friendly one, he rarely breaks out of his princely character, but when he does, the whole world is sure to freeze from how icy-cold his looks can be. It doesn't help that he has hair as white as snow, either, and with the hailstorm stirring up in his half-lidded, glinting eyes, it almost feels like a blizzard is passing by.

"Hey, young miss..." he started, voice low yet vehement.

"What did you just call Lady?"

Fallon smirks a little, amused to see that Weiss is finally in. Calling Lady a slut is one of the biggest mistakes anyone can make.

The girls began to tear up, eventually running away. Feeling somewhat accomplished, they both grabbed a hold of the stuffed toy and took it with them.

"Now, let's give this bear to Lady."
