Lady Misfortune: Daddy, I'll Be A Righteous Villainess!

Fallon can't believe he is here now, running after Lady who apparently is compassionate enough to help a freaking bee go back to its nest where more of its kind and those venomous stings await.

"Are you kidding me?! You can't go there! They can hurt you!" he continued to reason out with her, hoping that she would just abandon this ridiculous idea so that he could already finish what he went there for.

"Wait a minute. Don't tell me…" she then said and stopped all of the sudden before turning to face him with a look of disbelief, and he came to a still, thinking that she must have thought of him as a coward now.

"Could it be that you're concerned for me? Oh, how sweet~!"

"W-What? It's not that. I'm not… I don't even care about you-"

"Seems like you've got a soft side after all! And here I thought you're just edgy!"

His eyes narrowed a little and twitched in annoyance.

This isn't going as he has planned. This isn't what he wants to happen at all.

He went to meet her there to talk her into something. Not let her lead him around like this.

What's more, Lady is starting to get these wrong ideas about him. Fallon refuses to call himself soft – much less concerned about her well-being.

Then again, they are supposed to be rivals. They are fighting for the position of the next head of the family. Obviously, she doesn't see that. She doesn't even seem to care. But that's good for him. At least, he doesn't have to deal with someone smart and cunning. He won't have to worry about his plan getting seen through.

'Father told me not to do anything yet. He said he would handle it...' Fallon thought to himself, silently going over his plan to earn Lady's trust and goodwill.

'But still, I couldn't just sit around and do nothing when I saw such a perfect opportunity. Being the first one to approach and befriend her like this will give me many benefits. Surely, she wanted someone to talk to other than her father. I'll be her companion in that case, and if I play my cards right as early as now, I can even make her renounce her right to inherit the family business at some point.'

Fallon doesn't really care about getting to know her. Heck, he doesn't care about Lady at all.

However, he is after the position of CEO of the Mireille Group. He wanted to have what Calixtus couldn't have back then – he wanted to make him and his mother proud. So, even if it means confessing his thoughts and feelings, making himself look helpful, and lending a helping hand to a rival, which are things he usually doesn't do, he will pull this plan through.

'But how can I do all of that if this girl is already sending me to my death?!' were the thoughts that Fallon had in his head as soon as he saw that Lady finally found the bees' nest she had been looking for.
