"Zhander, what do I owe you this visit?"

I grabbed a cream puff and licked my lips while locking eyes with his. Zhander wasn't affected the least (like always), he just shrugged his shoulders.

"I want to invest in your oil and mining business."

I restrained a frowned.

"Nothing sure escapes you, Zhander~," I chimed, not averting my gaze from his.

"Little Stela, I want to help you."

Zhander's face turned serious as he placed his hand on the headrest of the sofa. He then turned his body towards me while he crossed his legs and put his other hand on his knee.

"Why do you want to help? I thought you hate my brother?" I knew Zhander was interested in Leanna. That was why he was so angry, or should I say, he couldn't accept that my brother beat him to Leanna's heart.

"My personal enmity is with Cain and him alone. Our families are still friends."

"Tell me honestly. If I'm not a Fay, will you still help?"

Zhander look stunned for a moment. He didn't hide the confusion on his face. He wanted to say something, but his lips remained shut, couldn't find the right words.

I love it when I corner him like this.

"I . . . Well . . ." Zhander's tone grew deep and gruff like something was holding him back from answering.

"Of course, I will!" he said after a long pause and added, "The Fay's and the Jansen's are longtime friends."

He then forced a laugh.

I resisted rolling my eyes.

I mirrored his position. I placed my elbow, the hand holding the cream puff, on the headrest of the sofa as I turned my body towards him. I crossed my legs and placed my other hand on top of my knee.

I made sure my bodycon dress exposed half of my thighs and cleavage. My breasts might not be as big as Leanna's, but it wasn't small like Zoe either. It was a little bigger for my petite frame, maybe because I was chubby when I was a kid.

In slow motion, I ate the cream puff and 'accidentally' dropped the filling on top of the slope of my breast.

I smirked when I heard Zhander's low gasped.

He pulled his handkerchief, grabbed my hand, and shoved that piece of fabric against my palm. He then gently guided my hand and wiped the cream on top of my cleavage.

"Little Stela, be careful, your dress will get stained."

Zhander's worried voice was like a slap on my face.

Do I need to be naked to get a reaction from him?

"Right." I shook his hand away from mine and wiped off the remaining cream myself.

"Sorry~ I'll get this clean-up for you." I pursed my lips and looked all coquettishly at him as I waved his hanky.

Zhander patted my head and flashed me a warm smile. "Don't worry about it. I won't get angry at you for this simple matter. You don't have to act all cute."

It's not cute! It's supposed to be seductive!

I sighed and turned my body forward, releasing my hold on his gaze.

"If you want to invest, I'll have the papers ready for you to sign," I said in surrender.

Zhander got up and fixed his clothes. "Alright. I won't hold your time anymore."

He patted me on the head like an older brother would and grinned before he went for the door.

"Zhander."

He stopped halfway out of the office and looked at me.

"Thank you," I said after a brief silence.

Zhander smiled. His usual loving smile, reserved just for me.

"Anytime, little Stela."

At the same time in school.

"Hello ladies, mind if I join you?"

Arghh . . . Damn it! What does this guy want now?

"Yes. We. Mind." Zoe glared at Rowan which the later ignored.

"Leanna, how about we go out this Saturday?" he said, voice louder than usual as if letting the whole people know that he was asking me out.

"Look, it's Rowan. Is he asking that girl out?"

"Seems like it. As expected of the player, that girl is hot."

"Heh, I guess we can ask Rowan how she tastes like after he's done with her."

"I never peg her to be like that. But I guess the rumors are true. That girl will do anything for money."

"Must be hard since her family is just middle class. She needed the extra cash."

My face remained unperturbed as I ignored the whispers and the annoying guy.

"Rowan, Leanna will be having headaches this weekend, so don't add up and scram the fuck off."

Rowan didn't put Zoe in his eyes as he swept me with his lustful gaze.

"Leanna, go on . . . Don't be shy, ask me out . . . ," he slurred, tone huskier.

But all I heard was the voice of a dirty old man, squeaking for attention. I had goosebumps!

"Alright. Go out!" Zoe spat, glaring at Rowan.

Rowan finally shifted his eyes at Zoe. "Babe, don't worry. If you want my attention, all you have to do is beg me," he said and winked.

Zoe crossed her arms and beamed. "Sweetie, my standard is higher than your dick."

Pffttt!!

Rowan frowned and poured all his attention at Zoe. "Babe, you'll be surprised. This thing here . . . ," he pointed at his groin, pushing it forward, "has a choking hazard label on it."

Zoe flipped her hair and checked her nails. "Isn't it the one they usually put on small things?"

I almost choked from laughing so hard.

Rowan's whole body burned red. I didn't know if it was from anger or embarrassment. I'd wager both.

"Sweetie, leave the sarcasm and insults to the pros. You gonna' hurt yourself. Go sit on a cactus." Zoe smirked and winked at him.

Rowan's face twisted in conflict. It was like he wanted to strangle Zoe, but he was hesitating because she was a girl. Instead, he bolted out of the cafeteria as fast as he came.

"Tata~!"

Waving her fingers at the retreating man, Zoe's smirk never left her face. She then gave me a long hard stare.

"Why is that asshole targeting you?"

"Oh, I don't know, maybe because of a certain someone whose name starts with the letter 'H' and ends with the letter 'Y'."

"Argh! Those bitches can really use a life!" Zoe stuck out her tongue with a scowl on her face before she grimaced. "Be careful, Rowan has a notorious reputation," she warned.

I snorted.

He wanted to play with fire? Then don't cry if you get burned.
