"I said wrap it up for me."

At the checkout counter of a fancy boutique, a slender and slightly pretty girl scolds the young cashier who refuses her request.

"I'm sorry ma'am, but this bag is sold out. We don't have any in stock at the moment."

"But I'm looking at it right here." She points her finger at the designer bag sitting on a shelf behind the cashier.

"Yes, I told you that this has already been paid for. We're just waiting for the owner to come to pick it up."

Feeling frustrated, the girl slams her fist on the counter. "Are you looking down on me? Even if you don't know who I am, you should know who my friend is."

She makes a motion towards the haughty-looking girl beside her. "She is Su Mo Chou, Su Feng's first daughter. Dare offend her and your life is over."

Hearing Murong Ning's praise, Su Mo Chou raises her head proudly. She runs these streets.

The cashier's expression immediately turns gloomy. She hates her job. Conceited people always walk in here and made her feel like sh*t. She was just tryna put herself through college, she didn't need all this drama in her life.

Before the conflict can advance any further, a group of masked men barge into the boutique.

One of them glances at the photo in his hand before grabbing Murong Ning and tying her up.

Taken by surprise, Murong Ning does not start struggling until her hands are already tightly bound.

"Wh-what? Who are you people?"

"Let go of me."

"Do you know who I am?"

"Help, help. Somebody, please save me."

"Mo Chou, call your father or help me call Wei Xiang."

Su Mo Chou just stood rigidly to her spot, not daring to move an inch.

Wasn't this daylight kidnapping?

Who exactly were these people who didn't even fear the police?

Understanding how dire the situation is and seeing her friend not making a move, Murong Ning starts panicking.

"If you just take me away and leave like this, my friend will call the police and track you guys down so just let go of me alone and we can forget about this whole event."

Murong Ning resorts to persuasion, but it has the opposite effect on these masked individuals. In their ears, it sounds like a threat. No one has ever threatened their organization and lived.

Hearing her words, the men become furious and in their anger, they tie Su Mo Chou up as well.

Within a flash, the group leaves the boutique and heads to a white van parked outside. They roughly throw the girls into the van before hopping in themselves a speeding off.

It all happened so fast.

Two young women were kidnapped in broad daylight.

No one was able to react quickly enough. Everyone just stood around, shocked at the scene.

After managing to collect herself from her trance, the cashier picks up her phone and immediately calls the police to report the kidnapping.

Although she made the call, the devil inside of her was secretly rejoicing over the two strangers' misfortune.

'Didn't they say that they were gonna ruin her just because she was tryna do her job?'

Even though she wasn't a rich girl, at least she wasn't the one being plucked out of a store and tossed into a van like a bag of rice.
