Legend of an Asurian Warrior

James ran across the rooves of building after building. Jack was sprinting in the street as he tried to keep up with James. They had recently come in contact with their first target. They were a 39 year old woman named Noa Johansson with an ability that neither James nor Jack had seen before ... teleportation. It was clear that those on Asuria only possessed fire, water, electricity, earth, light, wind, and darkness as they had breeded to only focus on them but those on other planets would experience different abilities like this one. However, like a baby learning to walk, Noa's abilities were weak and she could only teleport a few feet and could only do so a few times.

Noa regained her strength for one last teleportation but when she reappeared her momentum carried her and she struggled to stop on the edge of the roof of the last building in the street. She swung her arms frantically but she couldn't stop herself. She disappeared off the side of the building and out of James' sight. Jack on the other hand, had caught up and was standing in the street below her. He stretched his arms out to catch her. It wouldn't work. Noa had already gathered enough speed that would crush her and Jack's arms if Jack tried to catch her. In those few seconds Jack did what he never thought to do. He prayed.

'Come on, anyone up their!? If you were gonna help, now would be a good time! You're supposed to have all-powerful abilities so just give me some strength or something! ANYTHING!'

"Are you alright? What was that?" asked James.

"I-I don't know." said Jack.

In that moment Noa rose up with pitch black eyes and dark cracks surrounding them. She spoke in a similar distorted tone to that of Alice was she was possessed by the scythe.

"You meddling mortals. I was having so much fun granting people their deepest wishes. This one just wanted to get away from their abusive family yet you tracked her down and chased her like a rabid dog. Haven't you ever wanted to get away from it all?" Noa said. A golden colour ran along her veins and into the hand making the palm glow golden and she clicked her fingers. A small ring appeared above James. Inside it there was a swirling gold and black pattern with electricity arcing off the ring and air rushing into it.

"What the?!" said Jack.

"This mortals abilities seem to be diminishing but I'll use them wisely." said Noa. The ring engulfed James and quickly disappeared leaving no trace of ever existing. Noa's eyes turned back to normal and she fell unconscious once again.
