Legendary Shadow

The next day, Liam planned to leave the island after getting the medicine for Jasmine. After getting up and doing some meditation with his Pokémon, he went to go grab some breakfast before leaving the island. He hopped on Dragonite's back and they flew off the sandy beach making their way across the ocean. 

After a few hours, it started to get dark out of nowhere and as he was passing by the Whirl Islands two whirlpools popped up from the sea. They blocked Liam's path and at the same time blocked his escape. Liam was confused by this as he thought it was a Pokémon that was attacking them, so he quickly summoned Mewtwo to help and try to push the whirlpools away. 

However, Mewtwo struggled to do that as he was not strong enough. Liam heard a voice in his head saying, "I saw you pass by the first time and felt the presence of another Sea Guardian, I would like to see that Sea Guardian, please."

Liam was surprised by this and he immediately remembered that Lugia was located around here. He asked, "Are you Lugia, Guardian of the Sea?" It was then that Lugia finally showed herself. Liam was very fascinated but knew that he had to escape right away. 

He quickly said that he was not interested and tried to get Mewtwo to push his way through the whirlpools. Lugia got mad and started pushing the whirlpools towards Liam as they swallowed him whole. Mewtwo tried his best as he used a barrier to protect Liam. 

Liam summoned Ditto and had him transform into Mewtwo to help him out. Mewtwo flinched when he saw another one of him but quickly dismissed it as him and Ditto tried to work together to use their psychic prowess to push away the whirlpools, but Lugia was too strong. 

She was the Guardian of the Sea and at level 400 she was no joke when it came to pure power. Lugia got tired of Liam trying to escape. She thought it was rude that he did not want to bring out descendants of hers as she thought she was alone in this world, but now that she felt the presence of another Lugia she wanted to meet it and it was a male at that. 

Mewtwo and Ditto pushed forward, but before they could get anywhere, Lugia's eyes started to glow. After that, another whirlpool showed up under them and swallowed them whole. They all fainted right away due to the pressure and the barrier had gotten crushed due to the current. 

Lugia softened up the blow on them so as to not kill them. She transported them all to her Island as she set them all on the beach waiting for them to awaken. After a few hours, Liam finally woke up and he spotted Mewtwo, Ditto, and Dragonite standing around him acting as if they were protecting him while Lugia stared at him. 

She quickly asked him to show Shadow to her. Liam had no choice and he knew that he could not fight against this strong being, so he summoned Shadow out. When Lugia saw Shadow, her eyes shined as she said, "Why are you so different looking, but at the same time I sense that we are almost the same kind." 

Shadow did not know how to answer that question as he simply shrugged and told her to release Liam and told her that when he got stronger, he would come back for their fight. Lugia was confused by this but didn't want to hold them up any longer as she told them, "Fine. You're free to go but once you get stronger, I want a battle between us and after that, if you are not able to beat me, I want to breed a child because I feel quite lonely in this world." 

Shadow blushed as he said, "Fine. We will be back." Lugia quickly stopped him and said, "I'll give you two years. After that, I will come and find you." She closed her eyes and imprinted a strange energy tattoo on Shadow's body. Shadow was angry that she had done that, but he had no choice but to let it go since he was far weaker than her. 

Liam had a great idea and after thinking about it he asked Lugia if she would be able to train Shadow for a few days. Lugia laughed at this and said, "I would rather him become weaker than stronger that way. I can beat him later so that I can win the bet so that's not happening. You may go now." 

Liam didn't say anything else as he returned all his Pokémons and he hopped onto Dragonite once again and left. Liam was a little excited that he got to meet one of his favorite Pokémon and thought, "Wow she was a level 400 and extremely powerful. She could control the oceans easily and I bet she had even more up her sleeves." 

Liam was quite excited and felt rejuvenated as he thought about the future and the bet that was Shadow had accepted. Liam knew that in two years Shadow won't be able to get up to that level but he couldn't wait to see a battle between the two.
