Legendary Shadow

Liam got a little annoyed after being questioned about his strength, so he decided to bring out Tyranitar. Tyranitar came out roaring, he could feel the anger welling up in Liam after he came out, so he decided to attack his target right away. Shortly after being summoned, he used Earthquake and attacked Steelix right away. Jasmine was surprised by the sudden attack and told Steelix to quickly use his own Earthquake. As the two clashed into each other, a huge boom sound was heard. Tyranitar used Dig shortly after and appeared under Steelix while waiting to strike. 

When the dust settled, Steelix looked around for Tyranitar but couldn't spot him. Then he noticed that there was a hole in the ground. Jasmine had also noticed and quickly told Steelix to move, but it was too late as Tyranitar came out of the ground looking like Ryu from Street Fighter with his uppercut smashing right under Steelix's jaw. Liam had also been a little surprised as he had never seen Tyranitar use that kind of move and get that high due to his weight but then remembered he had special abilities. Jasmine noticed that Tyranitar had turned forest green and ancient rune-like lines formed around his body lighting up in dim lights. 

Steelix was in extreme pain but quickly shook it off and used Iron tail as it came crashing into Tyranitar. Tyranitar held his hand up and caught the tail of Steelix pushing him back just a little bit. Steelix was surprised that somebody was able to catch his tail so easily, but the next thing he felt was extreme pain as Tyranitar had used crunch and bit into Steelix's tail. Steelix's steel-like skin was hard and could never be penetrated but surprisingly Tyranitar had made dents in his body. This surprised not only him but Jasmine herself as she quickly told Steelix to use double edge. 

Steelix quickly smashed into Tyranitar pushing him back and started to use Sandstorm. He spun around with high speed making the sand on the ground levitate around him as he blinded everybody around the stage. But Steelix had no idea that Tyranitar can also use that move and so it was quite ineffective to him. They both used dig and started clashing with each other underground. The sandstorm subsided and Liam and Jasmin noticed that both their Pokémon were not on the stage, but they kept hearing rumbling sounds underneath the ground. 

Liam smirked and said, "Oh you used dig! "Jasmine nodded and said, "They must be having quite the epic battle down there. Unfortunately one has to come out as the victor." They nodded again and didn't say anything more as they waited for a few more minutes before they heard a loud shaking as Liam had commanded Tyranitar to used Earthquake. The Earthquake was effective and Steelix came out flying from under the ground as he smashed into the wall behind Jasmine. 

Jasmine was shocked by this as she laughed and said, "Okay I'm convinced that you're quite the strong trainer now. I'll give you your badge and I wish you good luck. Continue growing stronger and I hope to see you're competing hard in the Johto league. Also, thank you once again for your help with obtaining the medicine. Not a lot of people would do that and I appreciate that." Liam simply nodded as he took his badge and left. When he got out, he thanked Tyranitar for his hard battle and he headed to the Pokémon Center to get his Pokémon healed. 

That night Liam couldn't sleep so he decided to head to the port to watch the ocean as he thought it would help him relax. When he got to the port it was quite empty until he noticed a boy walking towards the oceanfront. When he looked harder, he noticed that it was Ethan, one of the strongest trainers from the Johto region. He was about to call out to him but then he noticed strange strong energy coming towards him. Liam paused and he stood back. He found a crate to hide behind and watched as Suicune the Legendary Pokémon approached Ethan. He roared at him as if challenging him. 

Ethan smiled as he took out his poke balls and started summoning all his Pokémon. They all attacked Suicune once they came out. Suicine used one move, a hydro pump and blasted them all back to their poke balls. Ethan smiled and was quite excited as he said, "One day I'm going to capture you when I'm stronger." Suicune only smiled as he turned around and left running on the ocean. 

Ethan was so overwhelmed from being in the presence of a Legendary Pokémon that he fell back but he said, "Wow that was the Legendary Pokémon Suicune and he was stronger than the rumors said. Able to wipe out my whole team in one attack." 

Liam didn't want to bother him, so he just left and went and sat on one of the crates as he was contemplating how his battle went today and seeing the Legendary Pokémon and it acknowledging Ethan. After a while, he went back to the Pokémon Center. He had hooked up with Nurse Joy once again before he passed out from exhaustion.
