Legendary Shadow

Chapter 149 - Miss Clair 3

Editor: Phema2241

After a few minutes of battling non-stop, Clair's Dragonite fainted, making Liam the winner. Everybody around there was shocked because nobody expected Liam to win that match, and yet he stood as the winner and had even won without expending too much energy, which surprised even Clair and made her smile.

She was happy to see that the little Dragonite she knew before had grown up to surpass even the mother that used to bully him around. Clair thanked Liam for the battle as Liam returned Dragonite, but the other actions were still going on, so Liam had no choice but to wait until they were finished, and it seemed like the line had even gotten longer.

Clair laughed when she saw this and said, "This is an excellent opportunity for you to train your Pokémon. Fighting in the wild is different from fighting a trainer battle, so use this opportunity; they can level up faster now." Liam simply nodded and thanked her.

Liam had officially collected all the badges from The Johto region and was now ready for the Johto League. Clair asked Liam whether he wanted to go out for some drinks which Liam was surprised because he didn't think that Clair would be into stuff like that, but now that she had brought it up on her own accord he was going to take advantage of that and try to see whether he could get with her for the night.

After a few hours of battling, Liam's Pokémon had finally all been exhausted, so Liam dropped them off at the Pokémon Center to rest while he went on his date with Clair. She had a lot of questions during the time, and Liam answered what he could but tried his hardest not to give her too much information as that would not be a good look for him. They ended up hooking up that night and had gotten a hotel room and made sweet love all night long.

Clair thanked Liam for his time with her as she hadn't done it in a while. Liam didn't say anything as he left the room. He had no emotions for Clair, but she didn't have anything to hold Liam to stay. She wasn't the kind of person that would hold a man back. Still, she said, 'If you're ever in Johto, please come and visit. I will see you in the league once you get there." Liam thanked her once again and left.

The Pokémon League was coming up soon, so he needed to do his training once again. He would have left his Dragonite with Clair, but his Dragonite had surpassed the Pokémon that used to train him, so he had nothing to learn in that city anymore as they moved on. Liam was also exhausted from all the training and the battling, so he decided that he would take a one-month vacation before the league started a few months later. He wanted to go back to the town that his wife was in to visit and see how they are doing and also to leave that Gyarados there as extra protection.
