Legends of Varlaurea: The Dragon Emperor

"We're along now, what do you want to tell me lord Wu? Is it about your daughter?" Emperor Lam spoke when they reached his study room

"Y…yes, Your Majesty, I…" the man falteringly spoke

"You don't look so well, is something happened?" Emperor Lam asked

"Uh… Your Majesty, it… I… I don't know how to say this… but… may I urge you to meet my daughter and the child?" Lord Wu said.

"Lord Wu… I already told you, right now I'm very busy with the dike project. I'll look to the matter of your daughter concubine status later" Emperor Lam sigh.

"No… no, Your Majesty, I came to you today not because of that, it's…" lord Wu twitched, his face tense and his eyes darting around the room like he just saw something.

"Lord Wu? Are you alright? Sit down, talk to me" Emperor Lam asked, poured lord Wu a cup of tea

"Thank you, Your Majesty." Sipped down the tea lord Wu continue "Your Grace, something very weird is happening to the infant in the past few days..." he spoke with a miserable look on his face "… first, is… I don't know how to describe them… odd dreams? Nightmares? It happened to everyone in the mansion, kept everybody up at night, and causing insomnia and fatigue. Then some of the servants reported strange happenings around the infant's room. Objects or furniture were at place where they shouldn't be, and the servants also says that, sometime when they're near the infant. Their mind suddenly gone blank, and they felt confused, lost track of time and their surroundings, like something had took over or poking around in their mind. And the hallucinations also, some of them says they heard voice where no one to be found, and saw things… or shadow, figure… in their eyes corner…"

Give off a big sigh, and with a disturbed face, lord Wu continue "… I don't believe them at first, until it literally happened to me just the night before when I playing with the infant. Also Hue is acting very strange even before she gave birth, she is… sometime caught talking with herself, or acting like she's in a trance or something. Then… just the day before the infant somehow walk and speak. And it's not the toddling way of walk or baby babble, she walks and speak like a full grown child."

"I was about to find a taosih to take a look of this, but I think since Your Majesty is also a powerful mage yourself, perhaps it's the best if you look into this yourself? The child is your, after all." Lord Wu pleading

"Very well, I'll came to see them tomorrow." Emperor Lam said

"Thank you, Your Majesty." Lord Wu thanked and took leave.
