Life of the Shadow King

As he went into the 10th floor it didn't look like the other floors. It's like a museum with the only thing inside is the Demon Blade. It was pierced in a rock, just like the holy sword Excalibur. There was a note attached to the handle of the sword. "The First Demon Lord here, if you found the Demon Blade congratulations you have the same affinities as me. No one can handle the sword except for those who can create the black flames. You might think all of the ones with both Fire and Dark magic can produce black flames. No only one person every 100 years can produce black flames. And you are the second wielder of the Demon Blade. Good luck!"

"Isn't this guy too proud of someone getting his sword. But it's just right for me" he said. The Demon Blade is a pure black longsword that has a purple crystal embedded in the hilt. As he pulled the sword out of the stone it turned into black flames and went into his right arm.

"Well at least I don't need a scabbard anymore" he said. He then started glowing. He knew what was gonna happen. He braised himself. Once he opened his eyes he saw that he was finally out of the dungeon after 2 days. He begins to journey back to the Adventurers Quarters.

Once he opens the doors everyone looked at him. He heard whispers saying "Hey look, it's the rookie" and "No way, isn't he supposed to be dead". After hearing this he knew that Kai and his group told everyone that he has died. He went to the counter and gave the bag containing 50 goblin ears. He received 25 silver for completing the quest. He went outside and looked bat himself.

"I need to buy new clothes" he said. He went to the clothing store and bought new clothes. He bought a black coat with a white shirt and brown pants. Seeing his defense was high enough he only bought the cheapest light armor made with leather.

He went to his wooden cabin in the mountains and took a bath at the lake near his cabin. He wore the clothes and armor he bought. He tried to summon the Demon Blade but it didn't come out. "Demon Blade" he said. Black flames came out of his right arm forming the blade. "So I need to say the name huh?" he said. He went to the boulder near his cabin and tested out the Demon Blade. With just one swing the boulder was already cut in half. "Whoa! This thing is really dangerous! When I swung it black flames came out. I need to get the hang of this thing" he said.

It was getting dark so he went back to his cabin and called it a day.

Meanwhile at the Adventurers Quarters office

The lady who gave Fate his reward was talking to someone.

"Looks like we found a great warrior" said the male voice.

"Yes, manager" said the lady.
