◆ Chapter5.01
The city was torn in two.
It was more to the "Adventurer" than to the "Earthlings", but there was no way that a major guild could remain irrelevant from that split, and in the end the rumors of the city were dyed in one color.
Duchess pie.
And the Duke.
Such words rushed through the liquor stores, alleys, and squares like whirlwinds.
The Duke refers to Eins, Duke of Akiba.
The Duke who earned the trust of the Saigon family has roughly the greatest possible authority in this Yamato earthly society. Of course, most of the "earthlings" were to have many "earthlings" to support them unconditionally.
Rainesia was certainly also very popular with the "Earthlings" as the "Winter Rose of Eastal," but on the other hand it is certain that it was only a woman, which was also a fatal disadvantage in this feudalist society.
No matter how intelligent she was, women cannot hold much of the public profession in Yamato's aristocratic society. In other words, no matter how good an exchange candidate she was to care about Shirai's civil grass, it's quite unlikely that the "candidate" will come off more than being a woman.
Beyond that, the difference with Eins, Duke of Akiva, was clear, and no matter how much emotional support he wanted against Rainesia, there were not many courageous people on losing horses to undermine the mood of the new Duke.
At this point, many of the "Earthlings" and "Adventurers" knew that "Eins, one of the" Round Decriment "and" Eleven of the Round Table, "worshipped the Duke of Akiba and left the Round Table Conference. At the same time, it opens a new governing body, the Akiba ruling house".
Although it has never been inconvenient for the "earthlings", it is many times better for the Duke of Akiba, who provides us with a clear protection as a lord, than for the "Round Table Conference", which is a distant existence for us.
The term princess and the like also means, "You don't have to be a lord or anything. Princess Rainesia has been in our consultations before!" and that only came out of his expectations as a lord-equivalent guardian, and not so antagonized as to allow faction-like factions to form in the first place.
If a lord is born in a land without a lord, it will be stable and glad. That's all for most of the "earthlings", and as a result, most of the "earthlings" living in Akiba support the Duke of Ains.
It is only natural to rejoice in the birth of a new lord who may be a cash thing but is desperate to get food for the day, which is likely to give him the benefit in front of him.
The clouds changed because information was brought about that Princess Rainesia had refused to marry Saigon.
Which will become more popular with the new Duke of Eins or Princess Rainesia? In one sense, peaceful conflict begins to show a completely different face with this information.
There was of course a defence that the proposal was made by a rude messenger, but there is a premise that marriage, especially among women, cannot be concluded with their own free will in [earthlings] society. Because it is "natural" for the "earthlings" to barely argue that the proposal from the Saigou family is also consensual to the Duke of Maihama family, Rainesia became, in other words, "the house, the parents, my poor daughter who has ignored the Lord's intentions".
That could have been, or perhaps, the first bad review I've received since Rainesia was born.
What's more, things would still have been light if we had just said "daughter who refused to marry".
No matter how many marriages are in the culture of feudal society: the decision of the house, good or bad or compatible is natural if you are human. There are naturally some examples of happiness in an ordained marriage, but there is no time to cite others that have become unhappy. Longing for love is equal to nobility and common people, which is why the songs of sadness and pure love made popular by the singers of the liquor store and tears of empathy.
The fact that "you cannot live as you wish" is also one of the few advantages that ordinary people can feel against nobility. The sympathy vote for the popular Mayhama princess Rainesia that "pierced her own will against unwanted friendships" should have been fully expected.
The air of the city swayed for a moment, but shortly thereafter it would gather in the Duke of Akiba like a fury.
It was bad for him.
The person Leinesia refused to marry is the Saigon family, the top of this Yamato. From the point of view of many ordinary people, the supreme power of the "Holy Empire Westlande". Why don't you touch the Saigami family's scales? It was only natural for that question to arise.
From the beginning, the common people also know the certainty of the Alliance of Free Cities Eastal and the Holy Empire Westlande. Even if we do not have sufficient knowledge of the details of our history, the battles of the past look upon each other as the knights and lords of each other's regions as traitors because they are preached as songs in their respective regions. What happens if I drop a spark on such a dangerous tension relationship?
Akiba could be the battlefield.
The magnitude of the suspicion that ran among the inhabitants of [the earth] is immeasurable. What we sought under such circumstances was the protection of our daily lives, which drove them to the support of Ains, the Duke of Akiba.
"The colour of the city is a colour supported by the Duke. You've already won."
Without a mouthful of wine, Eins frowned at Malvez's words, which were soaked with joy.
This is the reception room for the "Honesty" Guild Castle.
Besides Ains in hunting clothes, besides Malvez, who, as usual, wore an aristocratic zorro costume, Saiya Touri, dressed in an oriental-style costume similar to Ains, also sat on a vine chair.
This is the summit of the Eins, now known as the Dukes.
Nevertheless, Saigon and Malvez are staying in place of their accommodation at the guild base of Honesti during their stay in Akiba. Such talks were held as every evening, because Ains was no longer in a relationship with Saigon Toshio, than he was recited and left the round table.
……
"I guess not. It's Malvez."
Saigami Tori, who deposited her weight on the back of the couch, asks in a euphoric and impatient manner.
"Is that right, my lord? Though folk grass without upbringing, if you touch the gracious and deeply merciful heart of the Lord of Saiya, you will find your way right. I don't know what a farce such as voting can do, but which way is right. Many people in this city say there are 30,000 folk grass for 10,000, even though they are" adventurers ". Though Toyi (Azuma Ebisu) doesn't think he will lose by a few points now that he looks like his lord."
"So, if there is, Ains doesn't have to worry about it this way. Why don't you talk to me, Ains?
Ains thought for a while about the topic he was shaken by.
"Lord Ains. Do you have any doubts about the glory of Mr. Tauri Saiya?
How that silence was taken, the out-of-phase aristocrat Malvez turns his irritated voice to Ains.
"Keep it down, Malvez. Ains. Answer me honestly. Now, what's the odds of winning?
"- Fifty percent, I think."
Eins, who gave up, opened up prospects for the two of them because it was this time.
"Huh!!
"You're strong. That wise man in white."
Regardless of Malvez, who congests his eyes and eats up his teeth, Ains bares his chest just a little to some amusing Saiya attitude. I cut it out because I trusted it, but I'm fortunate to have the amount of equipment to accept it.
Ains goes on hiding relief and the bitterness that exceeds it.
"No. - It's fifty percent because you dispute with him. That man is not far from me in fulfilling his wishes. This battle is already yours, Shiloe. My only chance was at that night bug dancing home, and that's when I was dictating. There's no more chance."
"What's this all about? Have you lost yet? I thought you said with your mouth that the odds of victory were 50%."
"Just because you win doesn't mean we lose. If he gets serious, whatever hands he uses, he gets his wish. Even if that means losing the battle, he makes his wish come true"
"- What are you talking about?
To the confused Malvez, Ains keeps spinning his words.
I guess this is a necessary class.
These two people, who have no choice but to walk together, must know that they are out of the standard of siloe. If those white boys win or lose, if they get their share, the Eins must take a new step as well, whether they win or lose.
"Win, lose... I don't care about that anymore. If he decides to be ready, feel safe there. That's the thing. In the first place, why would you think such a far-fetched thing about him aiming to win with it just because he got a contest for a vote?
"Are you saying that Sage is about to lose? Then why did you say it was a fight?
To the intriguing Saiya question, Ains answers by shaking his head left and right.
"That's not the kind of short circuit story. Shiloe, if you take the fight, you win or lose, you'll get what you want. He won't give up, and I don't hate any hard work to make a wish come true"
――
"But that's also why we could win. He's never really focused on the battle itself."
Yes, it is.
There is a chance of winning.
But it was Ains' idea that it would be because it would be more convenient for Shiloe for the Ains to win, and it would be unacceptable for both of us to take that.
I have never dealt with it nearby, so I can't help it.
We need trillions of gold coins to open up the zone, so it's impossible to understand young people making ridiculous reports, such as "I'm snapped". Even Eins, who received a history report, could understand what had happened, but could not imagine the history and thoughts that had led to it.
"You're familiar with it. Were you friends with that wise man?
"He's... he's a celebrity among us too." The Necromancer is the Origin "," The Throne of Radamanthus ", and" Haylose's Nine Prisons ". The" Tea Party of the Prodigal "" DeBocelli Tea Party ", which was just a weak offensive group, tore apart the Massive Combat (Reid) rankings over and over again. With every reputation and criticism that that shouldn't happen, you don't pull a step by turning a major guild over there. But more than that, the problem is that their goal was not to beat a major guild."
Ains looked back to be merciful of the time.
What is there is the vision and jealousy that has faded over the years.
"Their purpose was sightseeing.... Isn't that strange?" Black Sword Knights "" Red Princess "" D.D. "" Howling ". They attacked sightseeing after the most difficult challenges the prestigious Great Place faced in search of honor and" fantasy class "." Don't you want to see the graphics of the new monster? '"Quest Sentence Good - I". For such a degree of reason. With such joking readiness and training. That's why it was rough. I have heard that the martial name of the Tea Party is passed on among the "Earthlings," but their rumors burned even among the Anonymous Bulletin Board - The Adventurer. As a Sequence Breaker (Billboard Reaper). The jealousy of the weak guilders who couldn't take part in the massive battle was horrible. Defamation, slander, harassment. Everything happened. "
By current standards, Honesty is classified as a major combat guild. But the inside line was different, and it was more fragile then than it is now.
The Alliance in Memories, modestly speaking, was on the side of burning jealously.
Ains reminds me of how we were (Alliance Chat) back then. Pussy, slurs against Kanami and Siloe, they were discussed as if they were true. The rumors that are told without us are necessarily spearheaded and dripping maliciously. In that sight, which can be described as ugly, Ains laid down guiding principles for guild operations called "transparency of tactical intelligence". At the very least, so that only the well-informed members who have noticed what they look like can change their deeds.
"The major guilds were still good. If we lost at offensive speed, we probably didn't have enough thought and training of our own. They had as much track record as they seemed, and they were complacent. Winning and losing had the luck of time and as much instrumentality as I could convince. Otherwise, you can't lead a group that would be named for the ranking. - But it's not, small and medium guilds and individual (solo) players were different. Eight wins against the Tea Party became more and more intense without the excuse we could make when we lost to a major combat-based guild, 'cause we have no more connections or equipment than the major players'.... but the" Tea Party of the Prodigal "didn't even flicker with fine dust and I was always laughing. Why do you think that is?
"... why?
This is a remorse.
It's a confession of sin.
Eins was on the side of the jealous masses, even though he didn't move it into crappy execution. The Tea Party of the Prodigal was cursed in my heart. - Leap forward and its naiveté.
When people gather, factions are created. If we have profits, we take them away from each other. That is the absolute truth in any society. In an online game disconnected from the real world, can we build real relationships that are not dictated by money or authority? Such is nothing but mindless human bullshit.
If that's the truth, why do bullying and suicide occur in schools attended by children? A little difference from the surroundings, a little superiority to an extent that doesn't lead to social status - beautiful hair color, good at running, good or bad taste in clothing - that's all people can do to kill people. No, it's not. People die because they are not even willing to kill, only because of the twist of factional activities that have no other love.
Eins, who has continued to coordinate such relationships as Alliance Master, was jealous of them when he saw The Prodigal Tea Party. Utopia without it. Adventurers moving towards the light. Showing such an ideal, I felt like a crappy human being whose guild operations kept me in the mood to hear the stupidity of members who just kept getting arrogant.
My idealism is nothing but a scum. It's just a falsehood to self-deceive yourself that crap is, at the very least, ideal and useful to your surroundings. Ains knows that.
But I can't quit.
Other than that, Ains has nothing.
"I told you, didn't I? Because their purpose was tourism. Winning or losing, the honor of a front-line feud, and the server's leading rare items didn't matter to them. Because for them, if they tried a massive battle (Reid) and fought a monster they had never seen in a rare zone, that was all they had to achieve, a victory. Other than that, it was all there, and it was just a chore."
……
"The same goes for this one. I don't know, Siloe, but you're already moving towards something. I trust him. So (,,,) ……"
Ains bit his lip.
I seem to have spoken too much for my age. He can't be young anymore, but the pain and fever, like when he was a student, made his mouth lighter.
"Are you in too much of a hurry? Ains."
"No...... I don't know."
"You're a cautious man. … is this what Adventurers are like?"
Ains shakes his head gently.
Whatever Malvez told me, I didn't care. Probably didn't tell this guy. That's fortunate in a way.
"Your mouth is too much, Malvez. Rather good. This was the only time in my world when I was being kept and killed by the Senate in Icoma. For many years there are no wings in the house, no soldiers who can move freely, no territory that can support them, no money that can redeem them."
"Lord. So isn't Malvez helping and helping the Lord as soon as possible!
Arrogant and mouthless, but Ains doesn't take Malvez badly. The fact that I didn't know what was going on means that this man is basically not on the jealous side. From a position of contempt as a poor merchant aristocrat, Ains knows that he decided to put his shoulder in a quintessential toast to Saigon Touri.
"... but when it comes to the rest of the faction, are there virtually only these three? Malves.Thank you for your loyalty and funding, but if you want to fight the Senate, you have no choice but to use this Akiba as your remaining strength. The rest, which is the powerless Saigon, is Malvez. We just have to get something new than you and Ains."
Tori also suffers again. That's what Ains thought.
Many of the Earthlings worship Tori like God, but his power base is fragile. The long-standing politics of the "Holy Empire Westlande" took power away from its culminating Saigon family. The Saigon family has had a system of puppets in the Senate for centuries.
"The crappy nobles of Lande don't know the value of what they've lost. Two hundred and eighty years I slapped it with my own hands. Relations with Eastal in the east remain shattered. Aren't we even able to hold hands against demons? You know that disadvantage, and you want me to repeat the same mistake again? Fight Eastal and now let the century-old chaos come to Yamato"
But with this young Saigon, we might be able to change times.
That's one of the reasons Ains decided to put his shoulder in him. No, if you don't decorate the words, maybe it was just sympathy. Either way, Eins smiled bitterly, thinking that he might be a worthy loser.
"Then there will be only two of us left, but I rather feel that the rest of us will survive even if we can compete with Akiba's wise men for five minutes. From that battle, what profit can you make? - Yes, with the rest of us, their. That would be the real battle. Is that right? Ains."
"Yes, Master Touri. I think you're right."
Nevertheless, no one fights to lose. Ains is now on the battlefield for the first time to fulfill Ains' little wish.
◆ Chapter5.02
Rainesia's determination.
Readiness of Ains.
Apart from those, the day of the voting showdown was approaching like turbulence.
Fully managed elections are difficult in this world, in the city of Akiba, where household registration management is also vague and the concept of settlement is not even clear. It was also in the end a strong aspect of the measure that demanded a sudden vote, such as "the next Sunday".
Though "acknowledging the votes of Akiba residents," then what is "residents"? If you're asked if you own a house, even the Adventurers who live in an inn exist at a rate that you can't fool. It's not uncommon to be in "The Landlord" until you get out of your hometown and your income stabilizes, if you're still rolling into your hometown's room, and you're in a wild lodge under a bridge or a tree house.
What is the city of Akiba and how far does it refer to? There is also the problem. In the narrow sense of the word, that would refer to the zone of "Player Town Akiba", but the inhabitants of this city, which is growing in population, are gradually beginning to develop the peripheral zone. Some ruins, such as the "Tower of the Library Forest" and the "Weno Bandit Castle", are being refurbished and are becoming warehouses and workspaces for large guilds.
What Shiloe and Ains were able to do was build a fairly primitive system: "vote in the person who comes to the polling place next Sunday" and "only give one vote at a time".
The two factions were busy with their own thoughts for a short period of time: a week.
The nascent (Roundtable Conference), headed by Rainesia, had to declare its launch in the first place, but for its launch declaration it would require greetings to the Duke's main house in Rainesia (the rooting of the name) and the adjustment of relations to the participating guilds of the "Roundtable Conference", thus spending the first few days unnecessarily.
Since then, he has been negotiating background descriptions and requests for cooperation for each of Akiba-based guilds, focusing on such faces as Marielle, Souzillow and Michitaca.
The current situation has attracted the overwhelming support of Ains, Duke of Akiva, from the (Landlords). If it remains the present, Ains will be the ruler of this Akiba. It is a natural decision for them.
The Adventurer was a little more complicated.
The smaller the Alliance, the more it is possible for the Adventurer to leave the city of Akiba. They excelled in survival and combat. If they feel like it, they can build a base in the undeveloped Yamano or they can move the base to the village of the "Landlord" even if they don't. I don't need "protection" as much as the "earthlings" in many ways.
So it is also possible to continue supporting the Round Table without being bound by Ains support.
On the other hand, however, support was also a poor and fluffy outlook for the status quo. Since the former Roundtable Conference was a volunteer organization, passive support - that is, an attitude reservation could have been made that we were not willing to cooperate but would not interfere, but the nascent (Roundtable Conference) was a governing organization, trying to guarantee its legitimacy in the vote. If established, it would be impossible to avoid cooperation. It can be said that it will become a tough city in many ways.
Most importantly, the Akiba ruling house advocated by Eins is exactly the same, and in that sense, Akiba has already changed. Either way, the age of volunteers will be over and legitimate autonomous organizations will be inaugurated.
Still, there were two reasons why Rainesian support was thick among [adventurers]. One is "Princess Rainesia, who refused to marry unwillingly politically, is pathetic and supportive", and the other is "Princess, I wonder if you can do something about it because Eince of" Honesty "is suddenly wearing a big face".
In other words, no matter how bad (Adventurer) could choose not to support it for reasons away from life.
Rainesia responded well to this expectation.
We put together a uniform for the Roundtable Conference, and we have never been able to consult with the Landlords before. However, merchants and local nobles, the subject of that consultation, had also begun to distance themselves from Rainesia in order to identify the situation, which clouded Rainesia's expression.
Reynesia, who goes out everywhere with Reese, Henrietta, Akatsuki and the sisters of "Peachy Tsuko", was welcomed anywhere in the city of Akiba, but that was undeniably something a little less temperate than before.
Among them, there were only a group of "earthlings" who supported Rainesia. Instead of being established, the emerging Chamber of Commerce did not forget the help of building a base in Akiba, and many of the pioneering villages near Akiba also tended to support Rainesia.
"The one who wants rice, Rae-Rae! I'll do my residences."
"Dungeon wood, iron ore, there is? Artisan apprenticeship, bribed, ten pieces of daily allowance gold coins. Twenty more recruits."
"It's the jersey section. I'll distribute the jerseys -"
On the other hand, the Duke of Akiva - and, if you will, "Honesti" - carried out a flourishing activity like a day in a row.
The investigation of Fairy Ring (Fairy Ring) was also completed, and Honesty, who had not taken on the city's policing duties, was free of charge for almost all of its members. With the immediate funds brought there from Malvez and the support from the Westlandese Chamber of Commerce and the nobility committed to balanced diplomacy, it can be said that a context has been created for the activities.
Ains didn't try to put resources like connections and funds in hand. There was also a strong desire among Alliance members to improve their treatment, but the showdown is imminent. If we cut through this past week, we'll be bright ahead. That is a reality that is also visible to the end members, so for the time being it was to do the work as instructed.
Even though they were sloppy, the Alliance members are the Adventurers.
Compared to each other, the "adventurers" who live in the city of Akiba may lack hegemony, but nevertheless, compared to the "earthlings", their physical abilities and coping abilities need not be compared. In fact, refugees who have arrived in urban areas without a job or family or agricultural land to inherit are coveted by the same "earthlings", and in fact have the power and means to help.
"Where did this group come from?
"It's like Pogone Village. And the guys next door Eldont and Gabos mixed up..."
"Whoa, whoa, don't move your legs!?
"You were shot when Red Dog surrounded you."
"We're watering it? Can you tell me if it hurts? Small healing (heel)!"
"Huh!? Hey, healed!
Many of the uninterrupted gatherings of the "earthlings" are divided into groups by place of origin. Make sure they're in good shape, heal if they get hurt, and distribute food. The level of "Grounders" is low, which means the maximum HP is low. If so, even low-level spells and items from the Adventurer will recover easily, and there is no hassle in handing over bagged food one at a time. Once you've handled the initial response, all you have to do is take over to the reception of the temporary housing for the time being, or take advantage of the job mediation consultation.
I didn't know the members of "Honesty", but Malvez showed unexpected talent when it came to this kind of chore. "If you give them food and clothes and guide them to Mizumi, such as the people who have eaten them up, they will calm down. Is there a lot of Adventurer medicine? Spread out, Spread out! You have to be generous to make it happen!" Although it was never praised in a remarkable way, it was a policy that made him feel the muddy background that he had also been made up of the lowest nobility in court, in fact, in Akiba's sense the flavor was terrible, but only the quantity prepared was plenty of food.
Moreover, there were plenty of poor quality hemp bags for packing them and enough bedding for transport ships to feel bad but keep warm. These are rather a thin product range in Akiba, which is coming to develop new and convenient items, but for the unprofitable (Earthlings), they wanted so much for the time being that they could get their hands off their throats until they settled down.
Most importantly, Ains turned his words of admiration to Malvez, who said, "It's a scum product that's getting better and better in the economy, both in Minami and Akiba, and is no longer selling! Effective use of a bundle of warehouse-filled collections from rural craftsmen. You deserve to be a merchant nobleman. Weefffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff
The core of these refugees was the "earthlings" from the Boxurt side, as a result of information being scattered by the merchant units under Malvez that "if you go to Akiba, you can eat", but it was not thought that in about a week there would be a significant increase in numbers. Though many had already reached the vicinity of Akiba, they seemed to be on the way (the Landlords) without knowing who to rely on.
The members of "Honesty", although it was only a bummer at first, worked quite diligently if they actually went out on the scene and were put on the atmosphere. It was clear, and it wasn't hard. Besides, compared to the investigation of the "Circle of Fairies", which has been held in captivity for a long time, this cooking mission, which produces results in front of me and changes the situation, has changed my mind and distracted me from boredom.
In the face of these support projects, Ains continued to complain about the need and legitimacy of the "Akiba ruling house" after taking a trip to a crowded area. According to Ains' common sense, the combination of cooking and speech is clearly an act of buying votes, but such legal developments and common sense have not yet penetrated in the Serdesian world, where the social system is underdeveloped. If you look at the effect, it's obvious that that works best, so Ains was there too, closing his eyes and reopening them.
We must hold the majority in order to reduce the disparity between the "adventurers". To do this, we need to have the "earthlings" on our side, guaranteeing their food and safety. It's far-fetched, but it's also the only winning route Ains has found.
This prospect hit, Ains was welcome anywhere, and he was feeling handy.
If we keep this up, we will be able to prevail in the results of the vote.
While the certainty did not lead to the certainty of victory, the city of Akiba celebrated polling day.
◆ Chapter5.03
Did Yamato's "earthlings" not fully understand this "vote" thing, or did they, after understanding it, express their own interpretative results, and the voting day became like a festival?
Without needing to mention it from anyone, the boulevard is cleaned, beautifully polished restaurant signs twinkle and aromatic scents rise from many stalls. The city had been filled with softened air since morning.
The "earthlings" who lived in Akiba were gathered early in the morning according to their respective affiliations. The people assembled in the "Hometown Hall" move into squares and boulevards, divided by people from the same region who are unable to accommodate them in the main hall, several times more than usual.
The adults were uniformly dressed in washed clothes.
Much of it was artisan clothing, like a glimpse of what they were doing now, even though they weren't gorgeous. He is the brother-in-law of a "blacksmith" wearing a leather front and the daughter of a bakery wearing quilt gloves. It seemed to be their claim as to who they lived in this city of Akiba.
The children are also unusual, usually knitted with hair that remains flowing and decorated with small flowers that bloom on the side of the road. The children felt the gorgeous city atmosphere and had their eyes snatched away by stalls that smelled delicious, but their parents fooled them and seemed to reconsider that it was an afternoon of fun. The way they fixed their solemn expression and headed to the square was so cute that they seemed to stretch out.
It was difficult to understand from an "adventurer," but it was their best outfit and self-expression. It was a sign of pride and gratitude that they had arrived in the city, lived happily ever after, and built their own lives and days.
The "earthlings", with their considerable understanding, received that today is an important juncture in the city of Akiba. They were not blessed with as much information as they could make a situation decision, but they only knew the basics of it, that either the Duke of Akiva or Princess Rainesia would protect Akiva, and they only received a dedicated medal and put it in the box of those who would support them.
I didn't know which would win, but it was also clear to the [Earthlings] that today would be a "new day of departure" and to Akiba's [Adventurers] who saw how this was going.
Somewhere, I heard a light noise called Pong, Pong.
You must have used Fireworks Wand, a smooth watery sky with sparkling particles of light and clouds of pink smoke.
From the center of downtown comes a thin slate of music that the "earthlings" call the "song of the adventurer". It was the opening theme of Elder Tail and by far the most familiar song in Akiba.
The voting venue is the intersection of Akiva Central Avenue.
This intersection, reproduced by the Half-Guire Project, is a massive total of six lanes, but in this Cerdesian world it is a place where there are no automobiles, usually used instead of squares. There are two bigger squares to intersect this intersection.
One is one of Akiba's attractions, the square of "The Great Tree of Silver Leaves".
The other is the Central Plaza as small as the Akiba Central Market.
The former had a huge tent put up by Ains, Duke of Akiba, as its headquarters, and the latter had opened the garden tip of the "Hall of Water Maple" for use by Rainesia and the nascent (Roundtable Conference) as its electoral headquarters.
And its "The Great Tree of Silver Leaves" square.
At this time, just before the vote, Ains stood on the set stage. It is relatively tall, but its size is small. It's full of three people. In this underdeveloped world of media, the only way to communicate one's opinions to many is to actually talk like this.
Even during this period, he touched on the fold and preached the need for the Akiba ruling government, but this would be the first and last opportunity for the number of people to gather so far. Moved by a strange anxiety that was supposed to prevail on us but we weren't sure it would, Ains inhaled deeply to make his final speech.
"Ladies and gentlemen of Akiba. Today is a very important day for the future of Akiba."
Ains spoke.
There are many "earthlings" in front of you, and some "adventurers" who are not too shy.
"- After the Catastrophe, the Round Table Conference, which has continued to support Akiba, was a volunteer organization, for better or worse. It was nothing more than a huge town hall meeting, in a way, without public authority. The Round Table Meeting is a better choice, but it wasn't the best. Akiba has developed, but there are people who have been taken away from it."
Look for that word that reaches them, to make them understand, and to get their cooperation.
"So..."
And I noticed abruptly.
Oh, this is the end point, apparently.
Troubled, distressed to do something about it, and in this place where he thought of methods, set the situation up, and got there, Ains finally understood.
I have no words.
Thus it reaches hundreds or thousands of eyes waiting for their own words, without words.
The Round Table Meeting wasn't the best, but Einstein's Honesty was a part of it. One end of the blame for not answering the vest is also on Ains. The immediate cause of the collapse of the Round Table in the first place was the departure of Honesty.
If you ask me what wasn't the best thing to do in the first place, it's because a massive guild was taking advantage of its size to expand its lead ahead and the poor (adventurers) couldn't stand the rotting city situation. In this new world, as both tactical information and production facilities become oligarchy, it planted intolerable despair for modern people accustomed to online gaming. But how do I explain that to the Grounders gathered in this square?
They are the people who flew out of their homeland without property. Some dark eyed youths have given up, while others sneak without giving up. Some couples burn their hopes in Akiba rumors. But in any case, would it be understood to talk to them about "poor [adventurers]" and so on? That's probably not possible. Because even the most powerless "adventurers" are hundreds of times more powerful than they are.
In the end, that means that the ideals Ains has been talking about were only adventurous, extremely narrow stories. If you poke it out, it's a majoritarian manipulation using the "earthlings", which is really true, but it's not something you can talk to those people about and gain support for.
"In the West, the Holy Empire Westlande has begun to leap, and there are disturbing signs looming in this Akiba."
In an attempt to change the incision, Ains instantly realizes his failure.
While threatening an imminent war, isn't Ains himself getting the title from the Saigon family, the "Holy Empire Westlande" itself, as a basis for legitimacy? This would only sound like using Western force to try to create a puppet regime in Akiba.
"- But there are people in every faction who don't want to fight. Now we need organizations that can bring together the power of those good people to discuss this with the Holy Empire Westlande and the Alliance of Free Cities Easter."
Ains stared at the crowd with a dark look.
People look up at Eince with a serious, but not sincere look.
There will be no need. If Ains is a "earthling", he cannot snort heavily with this content. They're looking for their place in Akiba, so they're not interested in improving the lives of the Adventurers. Not to mention, there's no reason to know about the history of the East and West.
"The Akiba ruling house..."
Ains lost his words to the difficulty of speaking, where it means.
In other words, the interruption of this word is the essence of Eins' failure.
Eins failed to persuade his colleagues at the Round Table Conference. As a result of his failure, he was depressed without gaining the understanding of his peers and fled to another battle. He met a majority called the "Earthlings" ahead of him and obtained as much authority and supplies as he could get his support.
But that's not true, if Eins himself gets as much reason as he can convince his surroundings. Maybe we can win, but that's because we got that much fighting power, not that Ains got anything.
As I told Shiloe that night, Ains tried to achieve Ains justice without forsaking his correctness and pretending. That was because Ains' own justice, scorned at the Round Table Conference, was not wavering in Ains, so he thought it would only be good to win later.
But now, questions arose surrounded by many people and stuck in words.
What is this emptiness that I feel inside me, this interruption of words?
It was something I knew was thin, but I was still alone. Ains grabbed his fist with a knee-jerking vain.
I don't think I was wrong, but Ains couldn't be so compassionate that his own problems weren't the center of the world that he was blinded by the misfortune in front of him and that others had their own personal circumstances.
If you're really right about yourself, wouldn't the Alliance Masters at the Round Table have listened more seriously? Or you were listening to me, and Ains turned his back himself?
Think about it and you'll see.
Eins himself must have had more words to do at the Round Table. All you had to do was ask for help.
That hateful reality approached his chest, and Ains silenced.
Salvation was a battle with siloes. Confronting my own ugliness, I don't feel weird and responsible for developments after this. Despite the hostility in the battle of voting, it was strange that the most trustworthy opponent was Siloe. Even if Ains wins, Siloe will do something about that future. Strange, but I had a strange sense of security.
Just to remind you, Ains didn't think about when he won, just getting ready when he lost. He was only going to leave it to Touri and Malvez after the victory, and more importantly, to Shiloe.
In his slightly clearer sight, Ains smiled quietly.
"The Akiba ruling house, and the nascent Round Table Conference, will take on a new future. The city of Akiba will be better. Think about it, this city was understaffed. Nonetheless, we [adventurers] asked too much of ourselves, and we didn't know too much about all of you [the earthlings]. If I may say so, I think the people of the Earth were too familiar to ask us for help."
The words were also felt by Ains himself to be slightly different in colour from what he had been so far. When I pulled out my shoulders and saw the color of the sky, it came naturally up.
A narrative that we didn't find so much when we were desperate to solve the problem in front of us in an attempt to win ourselves sprang up like a lie. The word was as optimistic as Eins had ever used it before.
Maybe if I were myself before, I would have blamed the word "irresponsible". "It's an ideal theory that doesn't look at reality," he said.
But if you blame them for their inadequacies, will that give you some useful reality? Did Eins get something by attacking the other Alliance Masters who were gathering at the Roundtable? If I recall that, I will remain in pain in my past.
Optimistic words are not irresponsible.
That's a story of hope, an encouraging word that we can do.
If we do not abandon the battle here, or if we broaden our horizons from the idea of a conflict between the "ruling house of Akiba" and the nascent "Roundtable Conference", the words that Ains, the Duke of Akiba, sends to the citizens of Akiba were spinning themselves.
"Getting better is in this respect, and we'll be a little better at helping each other. It will be such a city where those who want help will not be humbled and appreciate the assistance, and those who help will not be arrogant and will think of their neighbors. Live in peace. Problems are piles, but they are solvable. There will be as much to do every day. I guarantee everyone will be busy. For that, there are many Alliance Masters who want to help."
Ains cut the words and did his gaze into the square.
I saw a guild member with a surprised look on his face. Memories of talking to them come back from afar. Yes, as much as I must recall, there have been fewer chances of transferring words lately.
With a quiet applause and a confident (earthlings) look, Ains felt the relief he hadn't tasted in the past few months. I'm glad that this turned into a quiet joy in Ains.
When Ains, who had accomplished his own work, opened his mouth to say his last greeting, a thick, whistling sound echoed across all the cities of Akiba from afar. A rainbow shard that floats like a chavon ball was pictured in the sight of the "Earthlings" looking around in surprise.
A large crowd gathered in the square looked around in its glossy light. The child clinging to his parents expressed his emotions by cheering, or pointing to a slightly smoked blue sky of color with a pompous look.
That was a familiarity over the screen for Akiba's "Adventurers", but since the Catastrophe, that is, a sight we have yet to see in this Cerdesia.
Dozens of Eagle Lions (Griffons) rise with overlapping wings.
It caused the Kaoru wind and the Intercity Transfer Gate, Transport Gate, was launched.
