: Remember the history

On May 4th, 1919, a group of patriotic youths took to the streets. They shouted for the unequal treatment of China. The "Peace Conference" in Paris became a table for the imperialists to divide their interests. April 30, 1919 Signed the "Versailles Peace Treaty", an unequal treaty that transferred German rights in Shandong to Japan. In the Paris Peace Conference, the diplomatic failure of the Chinese government directly caused strong dissatisfaction among the Chinese people.

On May 4th, young students launched a student movement to boycott the unequal treaties of imperialism. The broad masses, citizens, business people and other middle- and lower-class people responded. At the beginning of the democratic revolution, under such strong pressure, the Chinese representative ultimately did not attend the signing ceremony of the Paris Peace Conference.

   Nowadays, China has become a powerful country. As a contemporary youth, we must not forget the spirit of the May Fourth Movement. It is the unyielding and cry of young people. History should not be forgotten. Remember the history and do not forget the national humiliation! Forge ahead!
