Lord of the Karmic Fate

Chapter 69 The Strongest Human!

Once the panel popped up before Raven the smile on his face froze

Raven felt shocked, to say the least.

The Relic in his hand was something akin to a priceless treasure that could literally protect anyone from anything! It was a real lifesaver!

However, there was just one little problem that was just impossible to miss out on.

Raven's eyes fell on the part where the description stated 'with a wicked intention' and wished to think about what it could have really meant when suddenly something silver flashed from the side, attracting his attention.

It was a flying sword, about two meters long with a straight blade and sharp tip. It was seemingly thrown at him by a human from below with the obvious sign of claiming his life.

'Motherfuck-' Raven cursed inwardly and using all the muscles in his body he shifted his figure in mid-air to the side, barely avoiding his skull getting pierced!

"Which one was it?!" Raven hissed with a mixed emotion of anger and fear, and his eyes tracked the sword's paths back.

An old woman, around 40 years old flinched scarcely when she saw how Raven directed his gaze at her before she turned serious and summoned another sword into her hand, ready to throw it at him once again.

And it was not only her that showed signs of killing Raven; others possessing powers capable of long-range fights readied themselves, greed and killing intent clearly visible in their eyes!

"So I have no other choice, huh?" Raven mumbled and with a sigh put te crown on his head. Surprisingly, even with his mask on, it fit his head perfectly, almost as if it was created just for him!

The moment the crown lay on his head, the Relic lit up with a gentle white light while unbeknownst to Raven the color of his eyes changed color, turning into deep red!

"...Die." with that simple order, Raven looked at the figures closest to him and watched as a black shadow, a massive black knight materialized right in front of him from out of thin air.

Then, in just a split second, it vanished and appeared before the young woman, severing her head from her body with one clean swing of his greatswords.

Of course, this was just the beginning of a massacre. Like a ghost, the Monarch's Shadow vanished and reappeared from time to time, slicing people that were within 50 meters radius of Raven!

Just like that, over a hundred individual lost their lives without any chance to regret their decision to attack Raven!

Bam!

The ground shook and cracked as Raven finally crashed into the ground, a dense cloud of dust flying everywhere and covering the vision of everyone in a matter of seconds!

"I-Is he dead?"

Many were shocked and believed Raven had just fallen to his death and now his body was nothing but a pile of meat paste, after all, although the human body became stronger and more resilient all thanks to Strength and Constitution Trait, it still was incapable of surviving a fall from more than 60 meters!

Yet, once again, Raven happened to prove how wrong their belief really was.

Whoosh!

A powerful breeze swept through the mountain peak, sending the dense dust hovering above the ground flying, quickly revealing a sight no one would have ever believed to see!

Right in front of them, standing straight with a glowing crown on his head, Raven looked right at them with a hidden expression and with fists that were covered in a blazing fire!

Except for dust on his white suit and a small white mark on his golden mask which appeared on it when he avoided the sword, he looked perfectly fine, having no visible injuries on his body much less broken bones or ripped muscles!

Of course, if they would have known that currently, Raven's Constitution was above 60 points while an average human had around 15 or even less than that, then they would be able to understand just how he survived a fall like that.

[You have used Fire Heart Orb!]

Ignoring the appearing panel beside him, Raven smiled softly and without wasting a second dashed forward, appearing right before the closest human that tried to kill him.

"Wha-?" the muscular man with a thin bow in hand widened his eyes and even before he could have realized what happened Raven already grabbed his face with his palm.

"Burn," Raven mumbled and the flames around his hand immediately came alive, surrounding and engulfing the muscular man's body with blazing crimson flames!

BAM!

A large pillar of flame soared in a flash toward the sky and swirled for a few seconds before it shrunk and vanished from sight, leaving behind nothing but a small scorched pit filled with ash and dust.

As for the muscular man, well, it was needless to say he was burnt to ashes, so fast that he didn't even have time to scream!
