Glancing at the other old man standing behind his grandfather's chair. Xiao XiRan can guess that he must be a butler due to the kind of clothes he was wearing.

Xiao XiRan thought for a second and asked himself. 'Why would he hide from us? Why is everyone afraid of him? Does he look kind but more scarier like big brother?'

Despite the questions on his mind, Xiao XiRan paused his steps and stood in front of his grandfather's desk. But his heart is still filled with apprehension.

Mo Yao Wang has had an indifferent expression on his face since the time that Xiao XiRan entered the study room; silently watching his grandson without saying a word.

Xiao XiRan ignored his frightened heart and smiled mischievously before he spoke with his playful voice. "You must be Grand Master Mo Yao Wang."

"It is a pleasure to meet you.. My name is Xiao XiRan, fourth son of Mo MeiLi" Xiao XiRan respectfully uttered, then Xiao he slightly bowed his head down to give respect.

After introducing himself, Xiao XiRan raised his head to look back at Mo Yao Wang who did not respond. But the old man still has an indifferent face and seemed not surprised to see him.

Xiao XiRan arched his eyebrow while on his mind. 'Why is this old man seemed not surprised? Doesn't he know what happened to me? Or he doesn't care at all?'

With curiosity how the old man looked at him, Xiao XiRan didn't take it negatively. Besides, Mo Yao Wang did not recognize him as a grandson which is something he doesn't care at all.

However, he cannot help but wonder why their grandfather would only recognize three out of his eight grandchildren from his second daughter, Yet Xiao XiRan doesn't feel bad about it.

But of course Xiao XiRan felt a bit of envy against his older brothers for not able to freely play with YuYan in the forbidden forest.

Xiao XiRan subconsciously pouted his lips and complained on his thoughts. 'Well, he didn't recognize me as his grandchild.. But why? Is it because I'm not strong like them?'

Trying to suppress his eagerness to ask, the mischievous smile on his lips did not disappear when he uttered. "I know.. I know.. Only my baby sister is allowed to see you.."

Xiao XiRan grins while looking at his grandfather's darkening face while he added with a playful voice. "Well? You seemed not surprised. Old master Mo, did you miss me?"

"You stupid boy! Address me properly!" Mo Yao Wang seethed in anger while he slammed his hand on the desk after seeing his playful grandson who he expected that already vanished.

Xiao XiRan: "…" What do you want me to call you?

Butler Ho suddenly coughed, trying to suppress his laughter while his gaze to Mo Yao Wang is saying. 'Master, he just called you the same way you called your grandfather.'

Mo Yao Wang: "..." Did he?

Mo Yao Wang tried to ignore Butler Ho. "If you know who I am, how can you not see me first than anyone else?!" He added with annoyance on his voice. "Stupid brat!"

Xiao XiRan: "..." Why is he mad?

Xiao XiRan was taken aback but raised his brows in curiosity while his fear immediately disappeared. He did not expect for the old man to be so demanding.

He jokingly said with a playful grin. "Why would I see you first? You're not my wife." But Xiao XiRan chuckled while watching the old man whose face turned gloomy.

Mo Yao Wang: "..." What a f*cking brat!

Xiao XiRan keeps on smiling mischievously. "What? I miss my wife. I want a daughter, so I need to work hard as soon as I got back.." He shamelessly uttered.

Butler Ho: "..." I can see master on this child..

Mo Yao Wang: "..." Why do I feel like I would say the same?
