Hearing their father's cold threatening voice made Xiao XiRan instantly shiver in fear. He doesn't know how to answer knowing that his lie won't work towards their father.

Accompanied by his shivering body, Xiao XiRan tried to speak with a faint but trembling voice. He lowers his head, preventing to look at his father as he said. "No.. We.. We didn't play.."

Xiao XiRan's shaking voice instantly created suspicion inside Xiao MingRou's mind. Accompanied by a frightened expression, his son's shaking voice is enough to know the answer is a lie.

Xiao MingRou stood up from his chair and looked at Xiao XiRan who seems about to cry. Thinking that his father will go towards him, but he was surprised to see the direction he went.

"Baby, tell daddy the truth.. Does your baby big brother ask you to play at night?" Xiao MingRou asked with gentleness as he carefully carried YuYan from her chair.

YuYan didn't say anything aside from shaking her head as a response, encircling her little arms and burying her little face on her father's neck.

With helplessness and worries of what's happening to his baby daughter, Xiao MingRou gently rubbed YuYan's back. He wants to put pressure towards Xiao XiRan, but he can't do it for now.

Seeing his daughter not willing to speak, Xiao MingRou can only guess, YuYan will never put the blame to Xiao XiRan. Therefore, He turned around and walked towards his chair.

Xiao MingRou carefully sits YuYan on his lap while he picked up the utensils and started to feed his favorite child but his baby daughter continued lowering her head.

"Baby, you need to eat. Come on, open your mouth." Xiao Ming Rou uttered with gentleness. He tried not to sound commanding due to fear that YuYan might throw a tantrum.

He knew that with his baby daughter's current condition, using threat is not a good idea. Therefore, Xiao MingRou has no choice but to be patient.

Watching YuYan look hesitant, Xiao MingRou sighed, but it did not take too long when she finally raised her head and open her mouth to eat the food then lowered her head again.

Her actions made her mother more worried. Mo MeiLi was just sitting next to his husband and close enough to see YuYan's pale face and her lips that used to look red is now white.

Mo MeiLi gently holds YuYan's head, stroking her hair as she asked with worry in her voice. "Baby bunny, is there something that mommy and daddy need to know?"

Unfortunately, YuYan just shook her head without looking at her mother. Mo MeiLi helplessly sighs as she looks at her husband who looks at her at the same time.

They can feel something is wrong with their baby daughter who is acting differently than she used to. Both husband and wife can only keep silent as they carefully observe YuYan's actions.

Although it's been months when YuYan's attitude started to change, especially having tantrums, Mo MeiLi can't help thinking the possibility that her daughter is doing something not right.

The previous events where YuYan has been insisting to feed her blood to Xiao YuRin came up to their mind. They have forbidden her to do such thing as it will cause a price.

Loosing blood while being a Hùnxie is dangerous to their body as this might cause them lose out of control. Their human blood will not recuperate while their demon blood will take over their veins.

Once this happens while they're still young, their bodies won't be able to handle the pain. It's either they lose control or worse, they probably die.

Although they haven't heard what would be the result once a Hùnxie child loses their blood, it is enough to know the possibility based on the older mixed blood's experiences.

Most of them lose control while there are some who ended up dying due to pain. Mo MeiLi fears that this is what's happening to YuYan, so she asked. "Is baby bunny feeding RinRin your blood?"
