"At that time, my career had just hit a rut. Nothing was happening and I was frustrated and angry. And Manny had no idea but then I met you. At first, I was just curious about you, I just wanted to know what happened. I didn't want to leave you alone so I thought it was a good way to rest from work. I mean, you were new here and you were alone and you were pregnant and you had no one. No one would take care of you. I mean, how could we have abandoned you? Especially, Manny. How could he have said no to that?"

Spark paused as if he was trying to recall the memories better. "In Burano Island, I didn't want to play then so I used you as an excuse. Did you know that? I mean, I decided to learn the violin because of my mom because it was my way of reminding myself of the day she left. Until, playing became a part of my life, even part of me. I can't imagine what my life would be like if one day I couldn't play anymore. I refused to think about it during those days. I was afraid what I'd find out if I did. Manny didn't like seeing me like that and it wasn't like he could do anything about it. So I just spent each day with you and those days were peaceful. I loved the quiet routine that we had made. I felt so calm but deep down, I knew that something was missing. It was like my soul wasn't there, like it wasn't anywhere, like I had lost it."

Molly bit her bottom lip. Her mind was hazy from the days when she was pregnant. But what she was sure about was that Spark had been there for her all those days. His happiness and his smiles were what kept Molly going.

"'Mol, what's your answer?" Spark asked carefully, his grip on Molly tightening.

Molly was still bawling, nodding through her tears. Spark smiled - he knew it. 'Thank you, Mol. Thank you for giving us a chance. Now, we can have a future together, ' he thought to himself.

Molly closed her eyes relishing the moment and refusing to let it be ruined by anything else. For once, she just wanted to do what she wanted to do. Even if the road ahead was bumpy, at least, she wouldn't have to go through it alone.

"What are you thinking?"

Spark asked, snapping Molly out of her daze. She shook her head when she saw Spark's eyes were worried. "It's nothing," she confirmed. She thought about telling Spark about what had happened in the hospital earlier but decided against it. "I have to go to Dream Media later. Can you watch Mark here?" she asked.

"Just tell them I'll be at the concert, why do you have to go all the way down there?" Spark said cockily.
