Love in Autumn

Jun walked towards the center of the stage and stood together with President Song and Kim Anna. Immediately after he reached the center and faced all reporters, the flashlight kept flashing non stop from the camera. It was the combination of power, intelligence and beauty, all in one stage. No one could turn their eyes from such wonderful appearance. They were all dazzling in their own way. Anna with her beauty and regal-like attitude. President Song with his intelligence and charisma, and of course Jun with his charming smile and international top star title. All fans who were looking forward would not feel a tiny bit of disappointment. They might even faint on the spot.

A few logistic guys came up on stage with table and chairs for President Song and both main lead, hinting that the interview was going to start soon. Immediately after the setup was done, a few hands were raised and Yoo Jae Jin was busy to attend all the reporters.

"President Song, why are you interested to invest in entertainment? Song Investment Group never take their first step into entertainment before."

President Song showed his killer smile with all the teeth perfectly lined up,"There must be a first time for everything right. I believe with the capabilities of Lee Jun and Kim Anna, my first investment will not fail. What do you guys think?" President Song's reply was proving his intelligence. He managed to put two stars together, even an idiot would know that these two superstars would attract more sponsors and would definitely get the best slot for the drama. It was even more amazing that he managed to combine two superstars under one production. Song Investment Group was really powerful.

Since the reporters could not get anything out from President Song, they were now shifting their attention towards the goddess, Kim Anna. "Kim Anna-ssi, what do you think about having collaboration with Lee Jun?"

"It will be great, of course. I am happy that I can work with him again. Jun is a very talented actor."

"Again?" The reporters bit the baits thrown casually by Anna. Some more Anna calling Lee Jun with endearment, like having a very close relationship with Jun.

"Yes, we have a photo shoot collaboration before. It was such a pleasure back then so I am looking forward for this." Her answer was causing uproar between the reporters. Will they be the new celebrity couple of the year? How did Anna call him so casually?

"How about you, Lee Jun-ssi? What do you think?" Wanting to make another headlines one after another, the reporter of course would keep chasing the baits.

"Kim Anna-ssi is a very talented and beautiful actress. Of course, every actor would like to have a chance with her on screen." Jun smartly evaded the closeness Anna tried to build and adding -ssi on her name. The reporters were now thrown into confusion and Anna slightly lost her smile. They wished for another headline to boost the rating but apparently it would not happen tonight. All reporters who usually fight for headlines now sighed in unison, full of disappointment.

The interview went out smoothly and the networking session started right after. A few people flocked towards President Song, Kim Anna or Lee Jun. Everyone who was approaching them came with a purpose, either offering sponsorship or lobbying for future collaboration project. Even Jisu, Anna's manager had readily standby by her side and took mental notes on whatever prospective deals she might get and needed to follow up after the dinner party. With the manager by her side and handling the business, Anna had more time and excused herself from the crowd to fulfill her personal agenda - looking for Lee Jun.

She spotted Jun was entertaining one of the investor and shook his hand, before the investor went off to start a business discussion with other people. Anna grabbed the opportunity to stand beside Jun, with a safe distance between them, not too far and not too close.

"We meet again, Jun." Anna initiated the conversation while nodding and greeting people who passed by the two of them,

"Hmm." Jun just grunted his reply, did not want to answer further.

"Don't you have anything that you want to ask me?" Anna tried to probe Jun again with question. She was so sure that Jun must have a thousand question in his mind. About her appearance today as main female lead and of course, she was hoping he would ask about the past.

"Is there anything that I need to ask you?" Jun replied, coldly.

"Jun. It was not my intention to leave you back then. We were young, and I was too focused on my dream. You knew that I tried to achieve success for our future."

"Don't! Just don't! You didn't explain last time and I didn't bother to ask, so let us bury everything behind us." Anna could see Jun's cold demeanor had slight changes. His emotion was raw now, he looked sad and disappointed and anger, which means he still got something on her. She grabbed Jun's arms.

"No, Jun. Listen to me. I am sorry and I lo.....".

"Lee Jun!" A shout came from behind Jun and made both of them jumped - afraid their past involvement would be heard by other people. Jun turned his head towards the familiar voice that suddenly brought his sense of calmness back and saw his little monkey was standing there, with her stupid smile all over her face and her out of context presence in the luxurious ballroom. She was wearing her casual outfit, jeans and sweater with her comfortable Keds white shoes. Her light blue outer coat looked too bright and childish compared to the rest of the guest. His painful scar that just forcefully opened by Anna felt a bit of relief, as if a soothing balm pasted all over it.
